DO NOT purchase this product this is a poorly made product they are NOT a premium product as discribed on Amazon these chargers will only last for a month!

I purchased 3 of them all 3 went bad! Used each one for about a month each! The problem is in the cord itself, the wire must break inside the cord & loose connection, I do not pull or stress the cord in any way, they were only used a few times a week! The company will not warranty them passed 30 days!!!!!!!!!

These chargers also have a very short cord length!

Want Premium Deluxe Rapid Travel Car Charger Adaptor with Intelligent IC chip for Cell Phones with Micro Discount?

Looked good, worked well for exactly 6 days of our 7 day road trip, then the tip fell apart, revealing the wires underneath. Very poor quality.

Hey why pay 20 or more bucks for a charger from a big box store, which for the most part is made in China and will only last a little bit longer, just buy a few of these and keep one in every car you own. I have only had 1 fail (wont charge). for the price I have several more.

IMAGE® 30A Solar Charge Controller Soalr Panel Regulator 12V 24V Autoswitch PWM, Automatic Lightin

IMAGEĀ® 30A Solar Charge Controller Soalr Panel Regulator 12V 24V Autoswitch PWM, Automatic Lighting Control + Time FunctionsThis solar battery charger has different settings you can use to automatically shut off the load after some time interval. You can also set the load to turn on with the button. If the solar voltage goes too high it will shut itself down to protect the electronics. The wire terminals are good quality. I'm using it to charge batteries on a boat. So far I'm happy with the way it performs.

Jawbone PRIME JBT02 Bluetooth Headset - Retail Packaging - Red

Jawbone PRIME JBT02 Bluetooth Headset - Retail Packaging - RedThere's not much to say. It's a bluetooth headset. It does what it should. But if you're looking for a scarlet/red product as described, don't purchase it -it's actually magenta/hot pink. Major disappointment, as this was the reason I purchased it.

Back around 2004 I was given a Jabra bluetooth headset as part of a conference goodies bag. In late 2009 I bought my wife and me Jawbone Prime headsets. They're terrible! I went back to the older Jabra I received free--it has much better audio quality, both in and out, than the Jawbone. Jawbones claim to cancel noise better than other headsets; don't believe it. The Jawbone is marketing hype and status without substance.

I have this for 2 days now. I read the other reviews, yes the device is more dark pink then red but the sound is great. My husband can't tell I'm talking on a bluetooth device. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I haven't found a good fit with the ear device yet.

Works great with my phone!! I love the color it says red but its really pink. For some reason it stopped connecting to my phone, but when it was working it was clear and I would drive and still be able to have good conversations.

6 / 12 Volt Battery Load Charging Cranking Test Tester

6 / 12 Volt Battery Load Charging Cranking Test TesterI needed a way to test My Six Volt RV batteries. My regular volt meter wouldn't test for load. This tester was reasonably priced. Easy to order and arrived in a few days. I have used it several times already. I was able to identify the bad battery and replace only one battery instead of both batteries.

Whistler XTR-540 Cordless Radar Detector

Whistler XTR-540 Cordless Radar Detector
  • Total Band protection with selectable bands
  • Low-profile alert periscopes
  • Radar Signature ID (RSID)
  • Cordless platform
  • Intense blue text display
  • Battery Operated
  • 72 Point Digital Compass
  • Internal Battery Charger
  • Battery Voltage Gauge
  • 360° Maxx Coverage

The only difference between this detector and the xtr-440 is the compass mode, which I did not find worked well when I bothered to calibrate it, which you have to re-do every time you move it from the mounted position. So now I just don't use that feature, and could have spent a bit less to skip it. Also, when you have the unit on and plugged in to DC power, it will invariably shut itself off with much beeping one hour into your drive. It's not an issue on short drives, but on any car trip of length, be ready to unplug it and plug it back in when it starts shutting itself off every hour.

I bought this for my girlfriend's car that I drive from time to time. It alerts the user to threats through the audible alert system, but it is hard to remember the different sounds, which is why it is great to be able to visually see what the threat is. The problem with this device is that in the day time, you can not see the screen AT ALL! No matter if you change the brightness of the screen or change the viewing angle, it is impossible to see what threats are in the area. At night, you can see it ok, but it is still not up to the quality I believe it should have. Final review....spend your money on a different radar detector (I wish I would have returned it, but was too busy to deal with the problem).

This new whistler is great!!! The fact that it is cordless makes it universal from car to motorcycle. It's charger works very well when plugged in to a power point for a short time. The XTR-540 lasts a whole week on one charge on my work commute, (approx 12 hours). Since my commute is 45 minutes to and from work, the battery saver set to 1 hour works well for me.

On the other side, this unit will detect radar alot further than the eye can see, if it alarms, you better believe it.

Buy it!!! for the money, it's the best on the market. It's better than my last $400.00 Escort that was stolen.

Want Whistler XTR-540 Cordless Radar Detector Discount?

I've had the XTR-540 for about a week now, and so far, so good. Nice display, nice suction cup mount. Minimum number of false alarms. Fairly intuitive setup and menu system. Seems to be holding a charge fairly long. Nice compact size for a cordless unit.

Just purchased and used on a 2500mi round trip through various states. Once I learned the settings and set the unit up how I wanted, it performed well. Only drawback was the amount of battery time consumed. However, with modified settings I can probably improve battery life time.

This did not work for my iPhone 4s running iOS 6.1.3. However, it did work for my very old iPod Classic. I wanted it for the phone, so it isn't very useful to me, but it was my fault for not reading the description more carefully--it only claims to work for the iPod touch. One issue that I noticed was the the description of this device is 700 mA, but the product I received was actually 1000 mA.

Makita BTW450 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench Kit

Makita BTW450 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench KitI am currently in Afghanistan, at a FOB repairing battle damaged MRAPs. I just put this baby to the test and the results were exactily what I expected. I used it to fit the front engine compartment to the removed grill assembly. It actually pulled the armor to the grill, with no problem. Another thing that surprised me was the smoothness of the whole process and how quiet it was. Very nice, Thank Amazon for shipping to APOs and FPOs. Great all around experience. 2 weeks from beginning to end.

I use it on a daily basis and wouldn't use anything else. Nothing else compares, and I've tried snapon, dewalt, and a few other brands.

Buy Makita BTW450 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch High Torque Impact Wrench Kit Now

Pros: (1) Got some power, (2) 18 volts lithium ion powered

Cons: (1) Not variable speed, (2) a bit heavy, (3) still relatively big compared to the competition

Overall, it looks to me like this impact wrench might be outdated compared with what's out there today. Most of today's cordless impacts are variable speed. You have MUCH better control with variable speed, especially when you are trying to put nuts back on. With this Makita wrench, soon as you hit the trigger, it goes full speed.

The wrench seems somewhat powerful, but I found a couple of (maybe frozen?) lugnuts this guy could not take off. It was on a '03 Corolla (I think using 21 mm nuts), which is not even close to a tank. I don't know if the car's lugnuts were put on by impact guns before at a shop, but I had no problems with any of the other lugnuts on that car.

My other gripe about this wrench is the size and weight. I did some specs comparisons of the latest cordless impacts out there today (i.e. Milwaukee 2663-22, IR W360P, and Craftsman c3 19.2 cordless impact wrench) and the Makita is the longest as well as heaviest of the bunch. When you read the Makita product description, they mention how the tool is compact and light. I'm guessing it's when comparing it to electric impact wrenches at the time the tool came out. Those electric impacts are much heavier and bigger. But now today's latest cordless impacts are more compact and lighter than this Makita. Check out the specs for the 3 other wrenches I had mentioned and see for yourself.

I actually got the Craftsman c3 19.2 impact wrench with the lithium ion batteries to try out and honestly, I like it much better than the Makita. It has variable speed, is smaller, lighter, much cheaper, and feels just as powerful as the Makita even though it only has a rating of 200 ft lbs of torque. I did some tests like tightening a lugnut to 150 ft lbs and trying both the Makita and Craftsman on it. Both wrenches zipped off the nut very easily. When removing a standard 80 ft lb torqued nut on my Honda Civic, it really seemed like the Craftsman zipped them off easier compared to the Makita. I don't know if they overstated the torque on the Makita or understated it on the Craftsman, but both wrenches seem just as powerful, however the Craftsman felt a bit stronger. Though that is just going by my observation and feeling, so there is no scientific facts or hard numbers to prove it. I don't know if this is because the Craftsman has a faster IPM (impacts per minute) compared with the Makita. Anyway, since I only need an impact gun for my cars at home (I'm never going to working on big machinery), the Craftsman seems plenty powerful enough for me.

I will say the Makita LXT series has good batteries and chargers so if you already have an investment in them, maybe you have no choice but to go with this tool if you need something with more torque. I ended up returning the tool because of the cons, but I'm hoping Makita is working on some next generation high torque cordless impact that will address all the shortfalls I mentioned. As of now, I am sticking with the Craftsman I bought.

I bought this to replace my Dewalt heavy duty impact wrench 18v XRP set. I got sick and tired of everytime I needed it the batteries were dead. Right from the start I have been extremely impressed with this tool, the power is great, I have been working on vehicles and farm equipment for more then 40 years I used this to remove the 2 1/2" blade holding nuts from a large bush hog rusted and pacted with debris, it is hard to believe how fast and efficient this tool is. It is stronger then my previous air impact wrenches and much handier out in the field. Too bad I cannot give it more then 5 stars because it deserves it. With the 18v makita lithium ion batteries it is always ready to go even months after the last time it was charged.

Bare-Tool Makita BTW253Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8-Inch Impact Wrench (Tool Only, No Bat

Bare-Tool Makita BTW253Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8-Inch Impact WrenchSome reviewers mention lack of sufficient torque while others say the tool is quite powerful. I almost hadn't noticed but wanted to warn other readers that amazon is using the same reviews for the BTW450 and BTW253 impact wrenches. The 235 is rated for about half the torque of the 450, so they're very different tools in that respect.

well ive had this for about a year now. i absolutely love it. definitely is not a replacement for a high torque air impact wrench. but will definitely get most jobs done. takes care of most everything under the hood except for head bolts or crank pulley bolts and the like, nor will it break loose a properly torqued lug nut. 90 percent of the work that i do, this impact definitely does the job.

First off let me say that I wished makita would have come out w this gun sooner. It would have saved me $200 from buying my snap-on gun. I've used makita electric gun before and loved it. Never would have traded it in for a snap on gun if makita would have designed a better way to attach the battery on my 14.4v gun. But I digress, so far this gun is waaaaay lighter, more compact and stronger than my snap on gun. What more could u ask for? I know there are some reviewer that says its not as strong as the air gun but hey who's planning on taking crank pulley bolts off? Use the right tool for the job and get it done more efficiently. Look at the tool box of professional mechanics these days and u will see an electric gun in there somewhere. I now use this gun 90% of the time while I'm at work turning wrenches. Why deal w the hassle of dragging air hoses around?

I use this at the track to change wheels on my car. The wheel nuts are torqued to 80 lb/ft. The tool breaks them loose fine after about 2 seconds. Quality of the makita tools are really nice, better than the Dewalt tools I also own. Love the LED. I don't like the size of the makita charging station and mine is already making an awful sound while charging (the fan I believe.

Excellent product, I use this instead of an air impact when working on my motorcycles. Saves the noise of the compressor as well as the electricity. Very rarely do I have to bring out the 1/2 drive impact.

Go Power! GPRV-155 '155 Watt' Solar Charging Kit

Go Power! GPRV-155 '155 Watt' Solar Charging KitI bought the GPRV-155 solar charging kit and I am pleased that it came with everything that I needed to install it on my Travel Trailer including a 30 smp solar controller so I can add more panels if I want. The installation was fairly easy and it took me about 2 hours in my driveway. There is a good installation video of another Go Power! solar kit on You Tube that explains the installtion very well. Look up Fraserway Solar Installation. This panel has been charging at over 8 amps per hour on sunny days and still around 4 amps on overcast days. I have 2 batteries on my trailer and they would normally be empty after a couple of days dry camping, I am now able to stay our for a full week without running out of power! I would definitely recommend this solar kit to anyone that wants to stop worrying about running out of power while dry camping. The quality is really good and from what I have read about Carmanah they have been in the solar businiess for a long time so the 25 year warranty should be honored without question.

Retractable Car Charger for LG Vu Plus

Retractable Car Charger for LG Vu PlusThis charger does just what I want it to. It charges my phone in the car and with the push of a button the cord retracts effortlessly. It's small enough to carry in my purse. Somewhere along the way I lost mine after having it for two years, so I ordered two more: one to keep in my car and one to keep in my purse. Plus I wanted to have an extra one in case I lost another one and they didn't make them anymore, because I really like this charger and I don't trade out phones often. I've had NO problems with any of them. Absolutely no complaints!

Dead on arrival. did not charge phone at all not even on first try. Buyer be ware. Unsure if it is really made for LG Vu use. But I'm disapointed.

Mobile Warming Cypress Women's Snow Snowmobile Jacket - Light Blue / X-Small (6)

Mobile Warming Cypress Women's Snow Snowmobile Jacket - Light Blue / X-Smallbought for use under motorcycle jacket. i ordered the classic model (similarly reviewed) through amazon, but i was sent the cypress model first by mistake. helmet city was very gracious and prompt in correcting order. the cypress is a pretty color fairly true to shown, had a slight "hidden" pattern on a bit more slick material which i liked especially for rain situations, but i didn't care for the black ?poly/lycra? sides as i thought it may allow wind to pass thru, or not good if ever caught in the rain; if it were the same kind of material as turquoise, i would have chosen this jacket for it's dual color and shaping from it's look. it lacked a thumb hole on neoprene cuff that the classic had, though that wasn't important to me. the hearty YKK? zipper also included a dual bottom zip feature which i love/prefer, and a little covering flap at top. the jacket itself is well made. battery connects in left pocket, stores in velcro pocket in pocket. the 3 heating areas are small (@ 3"x4") 1 over each side of breastbone, and 1 over top/mid of back. the jacket does produce good heat. i put on a tank top, t-shirt, and turtleneck tee and could still feel heat but significantly less with each layer. add a sweater and you could barely feel the warmth, even with a heavy jacket over this one. in order to feel heat best, wear with only a single light layer or two, and order smallest size possible as the tighter and closer fitting the better you'll feel heat. i'm petite 5'2", 114#, size 4/6 and ordered this in medium for layering, but reordered the classic in small which fit better (both jackets seem to be cut the same,) and XS would have likely fit too for a light layer but i hate "too" tight clothes. the heat only lasts an hour or two on 100%, a little longer on each lower setting of 75, 50 & 25%. i bought a back up battery and charger too. battery holds charge well just sitting there for days.

all in all though i am exchanging it for the warming shirt in men's size XS or XXS as the base layer heat will work much better for my needs because i sometimes need lots of layers on the motorcycle in winter, and still hoping this may cut a few out so i don't feel like the lil kid on a christmas story or the michelin man! or at least keep me from freezing at 30 degrees (plus the extreme wind chill) again...

the 3 star rating is because of my personal needs; it is a nice product.

SKIL 2354-01 iXO 4-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Palm-Sized Cordless Screwdriver

SKIL 2354-01 iXO 4-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Palm-Sized Cordless ScrewdriverLet me start by saying that I loved my original Ixo. I still have it and use it. The battery has worn down so low and I needed a second one anyway... so I went ahead and ordered two of these for my shop.

The old version came with a charging cradle that held a selection of 10 various bits. The new version comes in a blister package that is a nightmare to open. It doesn't have a cradle. It just has a wall-wart charger that plugs into the bottom of the tool. It also only comes with 5 bits. Bits are not an issue, as they're cheap enough. The charger is inferior in design, however. Same output power and charge time, but just not as classy as the original.

The old Ixo was made in Maylasia. This one was made in China. They kept the price point the same, but eliminated accessories and moved production to a cheaper plant. Typical business in production these days.

That said, the overall build quality appears the same from the outside. I don't know if it will run for 5 years or so as the old one did. I certainly hope so. I will come back and update my review if I have any issues with this newer model. It certainly doesn't feel like some of the cheap crap we've been seeing these days coming from over there.

Performance of these little drivers is pretty incredible. I've used them to drive wood screws a couple of inches, self tappers into aluminum, etc... I make primary use of it as a string winder for guitars nowadays. (heavy usage)

The slow speed of it makes it very torquey and yet easy to control. The battery lasts for a long time from light usage. It will suffer if you use it for heavy driving, though. The Li-Ion battery in my original one went for a couple years before showing substantial degradation in performance.

I opened up my old one and found the battery to be the very typical 18650 Li-Ion battery which is widely used in small tools and remote control cars, etc... These can be ordered online for less than $10 each and soldered into the Ixo if you are competent enough at that stuff. I will be replacing the battery in my original one and continue to use it in the future.

If these new ones start to degrade, I will swap those batteries as necessary. The motor, gears, electronics, switches, etc... all seem to hold up really well.

Compared to the Ryobi Tek4 mini driver, which I have used extensively, this one is far more compact and delivers the same performance. They use the same battery (although the Tek4's modular batteries are sealed in plastic and not replaceable, and likely similar motors. The Ryobi comes with a clutch, but it makes the tool clunky. The Skil delivers with something that you can actually stick in your back pocket and no frills. The Ryobi looks more like a power tool and this one looks more like a toy. I prefer the tiny size and same power, though.

I recommend this tool to everyone. Even with my complaints as stated, buy it.

Bring back the cradle, Skil (Bosch)!!

UPDATE: Swapping batteries in mine with LG Chem Li-Ion 18650 Cylindrical 3.7V 2800mAh has made these things amazing. The stock battery is 1300mah, so the speed and power feels like double with the upgraded battery. It holds a charge a lot longer, too. (these seem to die too quickly)

I've been in the cstr biz for 25 years and bought more tools than I can recount (thousands). I personally own perhaps 10 different drills, and have handled many dozens more of all styles and makes.

I recall a small drill I bought for my mother 25 years ago one of the first small battery operated drills what a joke could barely turn a screw and battery life was a joke quickly ended up in the garbage (before we learned to recycle batteries).

As such, I stayed clear of these small "personal" screw drivers all these years. But knowing battery advances in the meantime, decided to pick this little guy up on a whim price was reasonable and could always return it.

To my surprise, found this little guy perfect for the odd job around the house, where I wouldn't bother getting out a larger, more powerful cousins and instead use an ubiquitous screw driver that is slow, but gets the job done.

Did a bit of painting recently, and found it very handy to dissemble some large furniture (the led light was actually quite handy) and to take off wall switch plates. Drove 3/4" screws into dense wood with a surprisingly torquey motor using low speed. And the battery life is very good on my second charge after being around the house a month.

For what it is, this little screwdriver does its job quite well. 5/5

Yes, less than ideal charger, but hey, for $35 what do you expect? One thing I'd have preferred is a slot to store bits on the driver, or at least supply several reversible bits (flat/phillips combo etc)

Buy SKIL 2354-01 iXO 4-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Palm-Sized Cordless Screwdriver Now

I was looking only for a handy-dandy little tool which could be stuck in a pocket for those "mobile" repair jobs. This little tool is all that and more. Not only it is handy as can be, its battery life is astonishing. Last week I was able to use it as my sole driver to assemble 4 36" kitchen base cabinets (each requiring roughly 65 screw insertions and tightenings. Power lasted to the last and probably could have gone further but I ran out of cabinets.

The only problem I have is the directional switch is positioned right under where it is most comfortable/practical to put an index finger when using the tool. And it's easy to inadvertently push the switch while exerting drive pressure. Takes a while to get use to that, and even then it's not 100%. A redesign should relocate the switch away from the gripping area. But I can live with that little fault given the overall utility.

However, Amazon is not accurate on the description of "what is in the box" as it says "The SKIL 2354-01 iXO includes one iXO SGK cordless screwdriver, one right-angle attachment, a ten piece bit set, one soft case, and one charger." There, in fact, is no right-angle attachment, a 5-piece bit set, and no soft case.

Competition Solar 7-Watt Amorphous Solar Power Battery Charger

Competition Solar 7-Watt Amorphous Solar Power Battery ChargerI bought 28 of these panels (not on Amazon) and I think they're an amazingly good panel for the money. They are amorphous which means they charge in diffused sunlight not just direct sunlight.

I set up three of them on the deck in February on an overcast day and hooked them up to a discharged car battery. With my voltmeter I could tell they were putting out around 24 to 25 volts each and sure enough, the battery went from 10.4 volts (way too dead to even turn over the engine) to 12.5 volts (fully charged) by evening.

With solar panels it's dollars per watt that counts for comparison. Right now, anything that sells for about 2 bucks per watt is a good deal which is what I paid for mine. I could have bought two 100 watt panels, but I'm planning on putting my panels on roof mounted tilting axis poles so they can track the sun, and these panels are only 16" wide so the pole can be mounted very close to the roof and still get a high degree of tilt in either direction for tracking, but still be low enough not to get blown off by any nasty winds.

And panels are easy to link. Just connect the wires together in parallel (all the red wires to one big wire, all the black wires to one big wire) to increase your amperage. Each one puts out .58 amps so my 28 panels should provide just over 16 amps of charging power with a charge controller in line that will be plenty to fast charge a couple of deep cycle batteries and run lots of small appliances with an inverter.

Good product, fast ship. keeps my tractor battery up at all times. Like the battery clamps that come with solar cell. Three days in the sun and my dead car battery came to life to start another day. I have two of these and both are great to have when no ac is available.

Go Power! GP-PWM-30 30 Amp Solar Regulator

Go Power! GP-PWM-30 30 Amp Solar RegulatorI bought this for my RV to control a 50 watt panel, a bit of overkill, but I may add more panels later. I previously have used the same model on my boat and it works great.

I am really happy with this solar panel regulator. My previous 25 amp regulator by Go_Power burned out after 6 years and I was very disappointed that the company had discontinued the 25 amp replacement regulator. The GP-PWM-30 requires a slightly larger cutout than the old panel but not much... The outside dimensions of the front panel are the same as are the screw holes to attach it. The new regulator has some features that make it worth buying as a replacement for the old 25 amp regulator.... even if the old one still functions. First... the wire connectors of the new board are much superior to the old ones which are not supported and wiggle against the solder joints of the circuit board. The new wire terminals do NOT stress the circuit board and should insure a longer life than the old one. Also, the features of the new board are awesome! The PWM-30 keeps track of the battery's condition and charges at slow/high rate depending on the battery needs. In the morning the regulator "ups" the charge rate to give the battery a good solid charge after it has been discharging overnight. A really neat feature of this regulator is that it sets up an "equalization" routine so the battery is equalized about once a month. I'm no expert but the equalization schedule is supposed to keep the battery de-sulphated so the lead plates last longer and the battery therefore lasts longer/performs better. If I had known how well this regulator would work I would have bought it sooner and not have waited for my old regulator to die such a slow, miserable death!!
