The case was very big for my 5 inch Garmin 2555LMT. The material is not very hard and sturdy. Very cheap feel to it. I would advice to spend a couple of more bucks and buy the one that Amazon sells. Its a perfect fit and the material on the outside is nice quality. I had to send this product back and lost almost $6 on shipping money!! Hate it! Take my advice and do not buy this product.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 765T in front of me and there's no place the pictured connector would fit. The 765T uses a mini-USB plug for external charging. If I'm not mistaken this applies to most current and recent Garmins.

This wall charge is something I got as an auxiliary aide when I bought my GPS so that if needed, I could charge my Garmin GPS from an ordinary 110V AC wall socket if I had to do some extensive programming in the house, or if the GPS hadn't been used for a while and it needed to be charged to be ready for a trip.

It turns out that I have never had to use it! The battery in the Garmin GPS holds a charge sufficiently well that a wall charger wasn't necessary. But the dealer sold it at a good price, delivered it quickly and it was nicely packaged. So, kudos for the dealer for being an honorable merchant!

The unit arrived in a very reasonable period of time.

Short instruction manual contained inadequate how-to information (green attempt by Garvin, they say). Other than that, with the information available on line, the unit does what it claimed.

I have had the nuvi 780 for about a month and yesterday, received a lowbattery notification on-screen, which replaced the map while I was using it for directions to a distant location.

The low-battery notification occurred while the unit was plugged into a working DC cigarette lighter outlet in the car and required the nuvi to be turned off since the notification replaced the on-screen map.

The on-screen information is excellent easy to read and interpret.

The mounting hardware supplied with the unit is excellent in all respects.

The nuvi speaker audio is rather poor quality but the use of a cassette adapter with the car stereo is very good. (I have not tried to use the NUVIs FM output to the car radio but reviews say it is too lacking in power to be useful and my antenna is rear mounted.)

The NUVIs routing voice notifications are bit difficult to understand but they are much better than nothing; it requires getting used to.

Check to see if MS Direct information (trial version comes with the nuvi) is available in your area if you want this service. (It isn't in my area but seems to be available in most or all larger metropolitan areas.)

I've tried a few FM transmitters for my various iPods, from Griffin and other manufacturers, and this one sounds as good as any I've used, which is to say not all that terrific it's OK for non-critical listening in the car, but if you want consistent, crystal-clear, high quality sound without crackling and hiss you'll have to go for some sort of direct-wired approach.

Setting aside the limits of the technology itself, I'd give Griffin's approach four stars this is a nice little gadget, and very easy to use. It's beautifully designed; the sled arrangement allows it to "bond" with the Nano very nicely it looks like one integrated unit (though I wish Griffin had offered it in white as well as black). The iTrip hijacks the Nano's screen, which makes for easy tuning and adjustment of preferences (stereo/mono, etc). I haven't noticed a problem yet with the "micro-suction" pad that holds the Nano to the transmitter, but keeping the pad clean is probably a necessity.

Speaking of which, the iTrip comes with a nice little grey cloth pouch that holds the Nano and transmitter snugly the inside of the pouch is soft, but it also sheds a lot of very fine dust onto the unit for a few days, which probably doesn't help the pad's sticking power.

One caveat you can't use this transmitter with a Nano case (which may explain why Griffin included a pouch). I've got the clear plastic "Invisibleshield" on my Nano, so it's not a problem for me.

It strikes me as a little overpriced, but it's certainly the best available solution for people who want to listen to their Nano in the car but can't hardwire a connection.

I just wanted to say that I really like this product. I read the other reviews and some of the whining. First and foremost, this is an FM transmitter. Expect static every once in awhile. If you want clear reception all the time go and spend the extra money for and iPod adapter. Otherwise, be glad that you can finally leave your CD wallet at home and be able to listen to all your music. On my last trip my fully charged nano lasted almost 3 hours. I would recommend a phone charger (Razr). All in all it was a good purchase. Do not expect crystal clear reception 100% of the time. The little pouch does leave little "fuzzies" on the iTrip but if you are not a lazy slob you can clean it in less than 5 seconds. For those considering this purchase: it is a good buy. 1)Remember that it is an FM transmitter-it won't be clear all the time. 2) it is cheaper than purchasing an iPod adapter. 3) When you get out of your car you can take your iTrip and nano with you. 4) I recommend a Motorala Razr car charger (for when the nano is low). ****5) This is inexpensive and convenient.

You have to remember: it's a little device, stealing power from iPod battery, and trying to transmit a radio signal in a quite crowded frequency band. When you keep this in mind, you would not be too much surprised that...

* In some areas you can hardly find a frequency with no interference (try NY).

* iPod Nano volume has to be at least 50%, more like 70%, and your radio volume has to be close to max (so when you accidentally change the frequency to the nearest music station you go deaf for a couple of seconds)

* You can't use it for 5 hours straight iPod Nano is small, so is its battery.

I never used other transmitters, so I don't really know how good this one is in comparison. Bottom line do NOT expect the music coming out of your radio to be as good as out of a decent headphones, or even wired speakers.

The transmitter has a mini-USB jack, so I have found a way to charge the iPod while listening... but the moment I connect the wire I typically hear irritating hissing. But not always. But often. I can also connect iPod to the computer through this miniUSB and transfer files/music.

The good thing is how the transmitter is designed. It's small and cute, and it sits behind Nano (and a little bit at the bottom). I put a piece of velcro on its back, so the whole thing is not bouncing all over the car when I make a corner but sits in a convenient location on the dashboard.

The part that I like best is that I can use it in other countries with the international settings option. It knows how to charge each batter based on the internal circuitry. I've used it about 1/2 a season (30 plus charges) and typically leave it plugged in for several days at a time. Recently purchased this to replace a 2 bank 5 amp charger. Does everything as advertised. Leave it plugged in and walk away. If you are looking to buy a 3 bank charger for your boat, dont pay 300 or even 400 bucks for the ones at bass pro shops or cabelas. This one does everything the higher priced models do for 145 bucks. Many of the other similar chargers had customer reviews that said they wouldn't actually work with an ipad, even though the product listing said they would, so I was a little skeptical that I may have a problem, but this one does what it says it will, I have used it to charge both my iphone and ipad so far. The lanyard is nice, but doesn't attach to the charger, so I'm a little confused why it would be sold together, but I'm sure we'll find another use for it.

I have a 7 year old and a 15 year old. Both have way to much tech, but this allows both of them to charge and play at the same time. Without this I would have to pull over the car too many time on the road for peace talks. Construction wise so far so good.

I bought this hoping to charge my Asus TF300 tablet. It would not charge my tablet however that is not why I am giving it a low rating because after more closely reading the specs it doesn't have the voltage requirement to charge the Asus tablet... my bad.

I kept it because of its small size and it appeared to charge my Motorola RAZR quicker then my original car charger when I plugged into the 2A port. Unfortunately, it would not always stay connected in the car cigarette lighter which meant a dead phone after a long trip. I tried it in my wife's car as well as a friend with same results, it was just to loose to stay connected.

After filing a return form I noticed the small metal tip at the end had pushed up into the casing. I was able to get it to pop back out and it stayed secure until I removed it from the socket again and the tip popped back up into the body. I ended up giving it to a friend that never takes it out of the socket and it appears to be working OK.

It works well when its connected especially the 2A side ... If it becomes intermittent check the metal tip at the end... if you depend on your phone check it regularly to make sure you are actually charging.

This product I installed myself. I used a rubber grommet in my dash to fill the drill hole I made to get the cable through. It looks very professional. I have had no problems yet. My only concern is the gauge of wire used. It appears to be around a 22ga. wire setup and I would have preferred at least 18 if not 16 gauge wire. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far so good. The next best setup I found online was around $30.

I bought this for use on my Harley with my TomTom XL and the fit was so so. It said it would fit, and it did with a little tweak. I had to use a Dremel tool and sand the rubber/plastic connector end to make it fit easily into my TomTom. Other than that it has been great.

Shipped on time, opened it up, installed it in about 2 minutes on my Ninja 650 and it works with no problems at all with my tom tom and with my DroidX using a mini usb to micro usb converter I got a radioshack.

No prob. the install was easy and works like a charm. The only thing they sould do is make the line to the battery about 6 inches longer for extra leway in routing the line.

This kit is the perfect compliment for the Sony Walkman Mp3 player. I'm amazed how good those little speakers sound. The kit is a must have especially at this price.

Doesn't fit the Samsung SCH-U550 as advertised so I have no idea whether the device works.Do not bother buying it for that particular cell phone.

I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet, however, it is what I needed and it does fit my car and phone.

My car charger broke within a week of purchase. The knob at the end has a spring that broke in 3 days. Not worth buying. Save your money for a more reliable car charger.

item is somewhat flimsy and moves around too much inside the cigarette lighter. not sure what country this item is designed for, but doesn't fit correctly inside the lighter for cars inside the u.s.

A beautiful design. It is not nearly as ugly as all of the rest of the HTC Car Mounts that I can find on line. I also really like the integrated charger.

The great disapointment comes from it NOT FITTING the HTC Inspire 4g. When I take the protective case off of my phone I can barely fit it into the mount. The mount is deflected when I do this and likely will not last long.

With the protective case on my phone it will never fit the mount. This is so sad as I have been on a hunt for a car mount with every other feature that this mount has.
