I do a whole lot of camping and hiking where I am away from power sources for prolonged periods of time but I like to keep my cell phone and a few other electronic devices with me just in case of emergency. Because of this, I have purchased solar chargers in the past and none of them worked as well as advertised...and sometimes not at all. Even though this charger might seem more expensive, its the only one that I have purchased that ACTUALLY worked. I can even just charge the battery that comes with it and only take that with me as a reserve. Its size and weight are perfect for hiking. I have had mine for well over a year now and still have had no problems with it.

I bought the helmet as I was looking for bluetooth so I can talk while riding. I am going to break up this review into 3 parts. 1. The bluetooth feature 2. The style of the helmet 3. The sound level First the bluetooth feature. The bluetooth feature works as long as you are not moving. I have a quiet motorcycle and you can't even hear the person you are talking to on the other end. Even with the volume up all the way it is too quiet. I am very disappointed in that I was looking forward to it. I have already returned the helmet waiting for refund. If you don't mind a bluetooth helmet where you can talk while standing still then the bluetooth helmet here will work for you fine. But you will not be able to ride and talk at the same time. Now let's move onto the style and appearance. I would rate the looks of the helmet a strong 5 as it is awesome looking. Now lets move onto the sound level. The sound level is too loud for a bluetooth helmet. People say you can hear the wind and this is unacceptable and it's even a blue tooth helmet. You think they would make the helmet quiet. Here is my honest review and final statement. If you don't mind a helmet that only works when stopped and not moving you will love this helmet and its perfect for that. If however you want to talk to people while riding I would not order it.

That is the key. Make sure you are ok with stopping and talking to someone then it will be ok for you but when you think about it, if you can stop then why wouldn't you just use your cell phone and save the money on getting the helmet? See it doesn't make sense.

For the price, this helmet seems ok. It dosent have the liftable front face, which I have noticed is rather shakey on these models. Dosen't have the sun glasses, which I hear gets loose and drops out of the helmet at random times. Was dissapointed in the quality of the Bluetooth. I have tried others that was way nicer. You cant hear anything on the highway, not even music. The one speaker just isnt enough. You can hear it on regular streets however, and the battery will last just about all day with a full charge. The helmet if outfitted with a slot for another speaker, but the wires are hard wired in, so any tampering with the system to make it a two speaker system will void the warranty.

I bought this hoping for the best, mostly because it matched my bike. Everything is nice and secure setting up the Bluetooth isn't difficult at all just put the battery in and let it charge. I be used it for listening to the iPod while riding and sound quality is great. One thing I got a medium and it was a little smaller than I intended so if most mediums are snug on you this one might be a little bit tighter. But I got it worked in and it fits snug now. Over all great helmet

This helmet is OK for the low price. The fit is a little smaller than most for a large. The visor seal is questionable. In the photos it looks awesome but up close the low price quality stands out.

Like any other person I wanted to be able to listen to music while riding and answering my calls at the same time. This is a very nice helmet that can do both. It has lots of padding on all sides. The graphics are really nice. The helmet looks sturdy as well.

Coming down to the bluetooth functionality, it is very easy to set up. when you are riding within the city it is easy for you to listen to the person on the other side. when on a freeway riding at 70-80 mph it will be a little hard to hear everything, but you will be able to hear most of the conversation.

The microphone in the device is a little on the downside. I was talking to my wife and she told me that she could hear me clearly but the volume was too low. I tried increasing the microphone volume on my phone as it is in the pairing mode but then it didnt help a lot.

Also Amazon uses a 3rd party shipper called OnTrack for the delivery so, if you have a gated entry to your residence then they wont be able to enter the premises and leave the package outside your front door if you are not available. UPS, FedEx, USPS usually have the access to enter the building premises and leave the package outside the door. If you miss the delivery then they won't redeliver/or charge you for redelivery. you would have to go to their warehouse to pickup your package within 3 business days of delivery or else the package will be returned.

Overall I will rate this helmet a solid 8.5/10

Graphics: 10/10

bluetooth: 8/10 (due to the microphone volume issue.)

Other that this it is a great helmet for the price.

And yes to add to this make sure you take a size bigger than what you actually wear as this is on a smaller side. I usually wear an L but took an XL and it fits just about right.

Lucky for me I had the one from my last phone to replace it with because this is truly a cheap pile at this point.

Can't really beat the price and it works just fine. The quality is a little questionable, so I'm not sure how long it will last. But at this price, not sure it matters too much.

This was ordered to allow me to charge my iPad while travelling (I live in the UK which has 240V). Unfortunately, it didn't work here but I was immediately sent a different one (A4) which works fine. The 64 works fine with other USB items, no suppose it's just the iPad wired a little differently? So at least you know these chargers travel well! Great customer service, well done folks.

Overall, a good price for this, great color, but a tad bulky for someone with small hands to use. I bought this to replace another one that the battery had had enough charges, but not excited with the size of the base on this.

Handy small enough to store in the kitchen, yet big enough to have some power for frequent use. Smaller ones just didn't do the job, but I didn't need a big / heavy duty driver.

Would have been nice to have a case for the included bits, but not a big deal.

well, to start off, this product looks pretty cool. But when i received it, i charged it up and all the LED's lit up and when i held the side button, the flash light would come on. But if this product isn't plugged in the charger, IT WILL NOT WORK! this defeats the whole purpose of a "portable back up" battery. I tried many different ways on how to turn it on, i tried pushing both at the same time, tried the buttons separately, tried double clicking, it would not turn on unless plugged in its charger!

I bought it to charge my HTC Inspire, knowing it might not work due to the high power requirements. It will provide about a 30% charge. Since it did not work that well we used it with my wife's iPhone 3Gs. It worked a little better, with about a 50% charge. I will keep it around as an emergency backup to my emergency backup (that I am still shopping for).

First of all, my mother had her alarm system battery replaced a couple of years ago. She had to pay for the battery and a $75. service charge. She asked me, today, to pick up a new battery from the alarm company that installed her system. When I read 'rechargeable' on the side of the battery, I couldn't wait to get to her home and see if the old one was also rechargeable.

Three minutes after I opened the closet door where her distribution panel is, I changed out the batteries. $75 for that?

The replacement battery cost, with tax, $39.06. I couldn't give a five star rating to something I haven't tried yet. But this is what I am going to do. I will buy this battery and a charger, charge the old battery and have a new one for stand by. It won't be a stretch to keep one here for our portable digital television for tornado warnings time.

Very good, fit the bill of a replacement battery for my Verizon ONT for my FiOS service. A more expensive battery would probably give you the same thing, a charge for a limited amount of time.

bought this cooler as a gift for my husband. he is on the road all day and tired of drive-thru. he was using a regular cooler and the ice packs just wouldn't keep drinks cool all day on the blistering hot days. my husband loves this electric cooler. he does not pre-chill the cooler before packing it, but all food and drinks placed in the cooler are pre-chilled. he does not have to add ice packs, the cooler does the job. my husband's only negative comment is he wishes the power cord was a little longer.

1st cooler was received damaged, but i called customer service and i had the replacement in 3 days. no cost to customer to return the damaged one.

Very disappointed in this product. The first time I used it the plastic hinge on the lid became distorted. The lid is difficult to open.

The instructions was a single page and though written in English, were not clear. It took me a while to figure out how to make it cool or warm. It stopped cooling after one use and I had it plugged in correctly.

The provided strap was unattached. No Instructions were included on how to attach the strap. Also, the strap is a cheaper version of what is displayed on the packaging.

I'll go back to my old ice cooler.

The P9 Koolatron works well and is the size I wanted. But the fan noise is excessive, very irritating. I bought a $5 CPU fan from a computer store

and modified it and replaced the fan that came with the cooler. It is now much quieter and it works well. The manufacturer should put in a better fan.

Stanley PPRH5 450-Amp Professional Power Station with Built-In Air Compressor

This item appears to be fairly well-made. It has a rather large footprint and weighs ~15 lbs. I like the layout of the controls and lighted psi gauge. The battery charge indicator has three LED's, so it's hard to gauge exactly how much charge is left. When I received this item, the plastic valve on the end of the air hose was broken off. Rather than send it back, I decided to fix it myself for two reasons. 1 The plastic valve will eventually break off again (very cheap component). 2 The 1/4" rubber air hose is VERY short (less than 18"), which will make the compressor more difficult to position and use. So, I went to the local hardware store and got a better air valve, an extension hose and 1/4" compressor hose repair kit for about 20 bucks. Now I can reach any tire without having to reposition the unit. The compressor does reach pressures over 100psi, so the 120 rating isn't too far off. Additionally, the jumper cables are VERY short about 2'. I can imagine this causing a problem positioning the unit safely for a jump start. Even with these minor issues, I still think this a good value (especially if you hit it during a Gold Box Discount)

UPDATE: After using the compressor and inverter for 3+ months, I'm impressed with the performance. I also got a chance to use this to jump start my truck. The truck battery had drained after sitting over a month without being started. The power station had been charged two months prior and was left in the bed of the truck the entire time. I was surprised when it was able to jump start the V-8 engine with ease. I had to let it charge the truck battery for about 1 minute before starting the motor. I'm raising the 3 star rating to 4. Would be a 5 if not for the short hose, cheap air valve and short jumper cables.

Received as a gift for xmas. Immediately charged it & placed on my work bench where it sat until last Saturday. Attempted to use for the first time only to discover it was defective right out of the box. Poor customer service from the manufacturer ( The National Christmas Co.) sorry, not made by Stanley althought I don't know that would make it any better. Stanley Customer Service was no help at all,they could not have cared less. Now I have to pay to ship it to the manufacturer to have it repaired and I haven't even used it once. What more can I say.

The drawbacks: The air inflater hose should be at least six inches longer to reach valve stems that have rotated to the top on the wheel. The base could use a better design so that you could stand it upwards with the carrying handle on top.

The two above-stated issues drop this product from a five-star to a four-star rating.

The primary reason I got this was to run my c-pap while camping out. It works fine for that, it runs the cpap all night. charges things, and blows up the air mattress. I haven't jumped a car with it but it should work fine. The air hose is short if you wanted to pump up a tire more of an emergency thing than a useful thing. I wouldn't get it if I was primarily wanting an air compressor it is a nice bonus but not primary. It does a great job of bringing battery power to a tent.

I am surprised at the bad reviews. I have two of these and three of the same strength, different model, without the built in inverter. So I have FIVE power packs total, and I kept getting more because they were so great. They are what they are, not a full generator, and you can run a 40 watt light for about 4-5 hours (which seemed like Heaven after a few days days using candles in the Oct. 2011 storm on the East coast), or watch an average length movie on the laptop. I used two in an evening, between charging the laptop, using one light, charging the cordless and cell phones. I used the smaller 300 amp version to power my wireless modem, on an as needed basis, and that can last several days or more that way depending on usage time. I have five so I can rotate them, if I don't have power usually someone else does not far and I can leave them to charge for a day. I also have charged them up while driving around in the car. You need to buy the car cord separately. I just got a 55 watt solar panel kit, still in the box, and am draining one of the STANLEYs now with an energy saver 14 watt lightbulb, which gives a 40 watt type output, to see how long it lets one of those power... then will see how long it takes to charge the machine with the panels once they are set up. Just a fun experiment really. Just in case there is nowhwere to charge them ever, from a wall.

As for customer service, I had questions in the beginning, and also later another, on what watt solar to accommodate these, and have to say customer service always answered nearly immediately, the reps were well informed beyond what I expected, and always had the answer and were kind and helpful. They are based in FL and they get loads of storms and power outages, and every rep I spoke to HAS these as backup too! So they really know the machines well.

if you expect these to run the fridge, microwave or furnace, or hairdryer, they will not. Get a generator. I bought them expecting them to do exactly what they did, and they did a valiant job. I would give them 10 stars if there were the option here. And 10 stars to my experiences with customer service. There are likely a few bad apples answering phones there, as in any company, but I never got them.
