I found out the charger for my Treo 750 was very expensive.. Who would think you spend almost 500 dollars on a phone and it wouldn't come with bluetooth or a car charger..

I looked for the charger online and the price / shipping worked! The device is amazing, it has a cool little blue LED that looks nice in my car :).

I did not want to spend $30 plus on a car charger since I'll be purchasing a new phone soon. I have never reviewed a product but this one was so bad I had to warn others. The minute you set the phone down, the charger will pop out. It doesn't appear to lock into the slot it fits into. The chord is so tight & the charger would stay in, so when you try to use your phone while it's attached to the charger, it again easily pops out. Don;t waste your time or money.

The car charger didn't work the USB cord didn't fit his phone. Only thing that worked was the wall charger that has a blue light on it to let you know that cord is plugged in the wall.

And the car charger got fried as soon as I plugged it in. I know its not my 12V socket because I have several other items I plug in. Would not reccomend!!!!!

When I saw the listing for this product, I was a little skeptical. A FM transmitter/charger, for this price? Whatever. I purchased this to use on a road trip and had mixed results. I'm giving it 3 stars becuase it really only half works. The fm transmitter worked fine. In fact, it had the best sound quality of any transmitter I've tried. The charging portion of this was crap. The first time I hooked it up, I thought it was great. It charged the phone fast. After that first time though, it never worked right again. The best I can get from the charger is that it maintains the battery level on the phone wherever it is at when you plug it in, but it does not charge the phone at all. I thought maybe my cigarette lighter was failing but my gps and other phone chargers all worked without a hitch, so it has to be a failure by this unit.

This is awesome because I drive an 02 Protege which doesn't have auxiliary (such an uncool chic lol)But now I can easily hook-up my Virgin Mobile Triumph and music plays clear and loud.

When I charge my phone it seems to charge fairly quickly :)(a twenty minute drive gives me half a battery charge).

I don't charge and listen to music simultaneously though unfortunately, because as I accelerate in my stick shift the faster I drive the louder a high pitch hum continuously sounds.

I just got it so I can't give you a full report. So far, so good. I was able to hit repeaters 8 miles away with low power and with a rubber duck antenna. It has a full key pad, not to be confused with DTMF dial pad.

(You can't make auto patches or dial into repeaters or radios to gain access to the echolink or the IRLP network) A well resigned little radio. It has many interesting features. I realized after getting this charger, I am not a fan of the ones with a coil in it. It just takes alot of tension to pull it, and really shortens the charger length. Lights up orange, but not too bright. Does the job. Charges as fast as other car chargers, I think .5 amps?, wall chargers are 1.5-2 amps depending on the phone, the more amps, obviously the faster the charge, but does the job.

This battery replaces the same battery purchased back in 2001. Nine years of trouble free abuse isn't too bad. Often would leave the bike for six months or more without riding. Anyway if your a rider that may get a bit too busy to ride for periods of time. Leave your bike unattended this is the battery for you.

As the other review stated that the Odyssey died after a few months, yes just like it says it will in the manual if your bike has too small of an alternator and you ride short trips at low speeds! This is a different AGM battery that will get a very long service life IF you get an approved charger that charges and floats at different levels than all other batteries. These batteries give extreme cranking amp plus the ability to deep cycle which few batteries can do. My HD starts right up now since I have a high torque starter. Get the Battery Minder 12248 WITH the temp monitor for optimal charge and floating. If you don't follow these recommendations then dont waste your money and get a regular AGM that will die sooner!

I first found this style of battery at Aircraft Spruce, an aviation supply company. I purchased the first one there. It was close to ideal 8 amps and 1 pound. Simply amazing.

I bought this battery from Amazon to use as the main battery to start my 210 HP engine. The specs put it up to the task. I am a few months away from the first flight, so it remains to be seen if it meets the specs, but I suspect it will. They offer an even larger battery that is only one pound heavier if I need it.

This battery will replace a 14 pound gel-cell battery, saving 11 pounds. That will solve a lot of problems for me with aircraft balance and overall weight.

And, the battery is cheaper through Amazon.

These lithium ferrous phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are fantastic! Amazing cranking power; they hold their charge even when unused for months; and they'll outlast a regular battery by years. I have been running one on my 1100cc Shadow Aero for about a year now and it has not let me down at all. There are a few manufacturers of these batteries now and I elected to go with the Ballistic Battery instead of the Shorai or others because I think you get more bang for your buck with the Ballistic. This Ballistic 12 cell which has an incredible 410 Cold Cranking Amps started my Aero at 28ᴼ F one morning this week with no problems! The lithium batteries are considerably more expensive than lead acid, but I think they are definitely worth it. The current Amazon price ($162 with free shipping)is about the best I've seen.

Battery lacks enough power to turn over my 05 Harley Davidson with 95" kit on a nice warm day in SoCal. Stock OEM battery works fine. Might have done better with a 16 cell but the 12 cell was so feeble I'm afraid to risk money on that. Funny the Ballistic web site has videos of them starting a Dyna in the middle of winter with this same battery. So all I can say is it sure didn't work for mine.

First of all, my mother had her alarm system battery replaced a couple of years ago. She had to pay for the battery and a $75. service charge. She asked me, today, to pick up a new battery from the alarm company that installed her system. When I read 'rechargeable' on the side of the battery, I couldn't wait to get to her home and see if the old one was also rechargeable.

Three minutes after I opened the closet door where her distribution panel is, I changed out the batteries. $75 for that?

The replacement battery cost, with tax, $39.06. I couldn't give a five star rating to something I haven't tried yet. But this is what I am going to do. If you ever tried to be on location all day and work with AA's you'll understand what a god send this battery is.

I shoot with the Rode NTG 2 or 3, can't remember, it's been in the zeppelin so long. I run phantom power from my Zoom H4Ns AA batteries or AC adapter and that as you know drains AA batteries like crazy. So I found this Gomadic. For about the same budget as my AA consumption for a 12 day shoot, I could take a chance on this battery pack to power my Zoom and Mic. I couldn't find any real estimate for how long one charge would last for my use. There are 5 battery indicator lights to let you know what the charge status is. So with a full charge I shot all day long. Even when not recording, I left the Gomadic on. We always use an Ipod when we are on the boat, so this sounded great! Installation was easy, I have two amps and this has pre amp outputs for front, rear and sub woofer so I just had to plug them in. Great sound, doesn't have any different sound features, just bass and treble adjustments along with bass boost if you have a sub woofer, but it sounds great. When you put your Ipod inside, which is pretty easy, it is secure so you don't have to worry about it getting wet or bouncing all over you dash. It also charges when it is docked inside. Won't support the Iphone, but I have had just about every Ipod docked in it and they all worked. The "touch pad" controls are not as sensitive or fast as you would think, sometime you have to touch them a few time to get it to work. The wireless remote is great. My stereo is mounted at an angle (2001 Ski Centurion)and if you are sitting down in the back set you need to hold the remote up high to work, not a big deal. The only real negative thing that I have with the stereo is that if you find a specific song, playlist or whatever it is time consuming and you will need the directions until you have done it a few time. The great thing is though, it has an aux input so you can always plug another Ipod in that way.

I bought this with little expectations. Thinking that in a year or so, I'd upgrade. After the third month of having this on my boat, center console, I took the boat out on the gulf, started up the radio, and nothing showed up on the screen display. It's almost impossible to figure things out without the display. There are so many buttons that have multiple uses. Luckily, the remote control works fine and after reading the manual again, I can use it effectively.

What happened to the radio? I don't know. My only thoughts are that moisture got into my center console area and with the boat covered, the humid environment created inside the console where the radio sits caused part of the radio unit to burn out. Yes, the outside part of the radio (the cover) is waterproof, but the back of the radio that is placed into the hole of the console is not.

The ipod docking is pretty neat. It can be a little difficult to insert the ipod if you have big fingers like I do. I get it to work every time, but it could be a bit easier. I've also used the auxiliary-out option and it works perfectly. I have yet to try the USB option.

This radio does put out great sound. When I am cruising and blasting, however, it will flip off my fuse after about an hour of sustained loudness. I do have it cranked high, so it doesn't surprise me.

If you can keep this radio from getting any moisture, then it's a great buy. If you have an open center console where moisture may somehow get to the back of the radio, you might just run into the same problem as I did.

Boss has out done themselves with this unit!! This unit compared to other models is less expensive and easy to install. It works with practically every ipod, except Generation 1 and 2. But my Ipod touch sounds great while docked inside safely. It was very easy to install and the 80 Watts x 4 makes any speaker sound better than before. I like the transfer feature that allows you to transfer music from a SD card to Your media device. Highly recommended for any boater looking for an exceptional stereo for there Boat.

Unit has a great sound and power for the $$. Difficult to tune the stations as touch controls are very sensitive especially when boat moving around on the water.

Of course it burns up 35 days after I get it ... 5 days past amazon's return time.

I like the sound quality and wattage. Sounded good. But it stopped audible output a couple weeks after I installed it. The tuner shows, the ipod goes through selections but no sound output at all ... retraced all the speaker wires and everythingnothing. The unit gets really hot when on, don't think the cooling fan works.

If you're still going to try one, some notes:

The screen is difficult to see when installed in a boat with a radio flip cover, and had to take off sunglasses too.

The control buttons are touch sensitive and slow to respond. Figuring them out is difficult to do as well. Don't loose the remote it will be your best friend for this thing.

The ipod hide-a-way feature is neat, but when installed with the flip cover it can be a chore to get to when you need to.

Xantrex Technologies 852-2070 XPower PowerPack Sound

I got this specifically for the mp3 player aspects. It does have 2 outlets and a dc cigarette plug, though. I got such a killer price on auction that I figured if it sounded bad, I could still use it for a dc fan while camping.

I have a larger powerpack and I'm familiar with how they work. The instructions clearly state that the power remaining readout is NOT accurate until the unit sits idle and unplugged from anything for at least 15 minutes. The display while the unit is on is specifically stated to be used only as an estimate.

About the sound quality: I like techno/industrial/IDM. It is sometimes heavy on the bass. I have found the sound quality for my genre to be completely adequate. It is not my home stereo, but it does sound better than a boombox that I paid more for. The louder it is turned up, the worse the quality gets, as with most mid quality portable speakers. But, it has to get pretty loud for my ears to start balking at the noise. Really, it just doesn't sound that bad at all and I am pleasantly surprised, after having expected less. I plan to take it car camping and I won't be disturbing my neighbors with a too loud stereo, so this fits my bill perfectly.

The booklet says that the mp3 player has a minimum draw on the battery. I haven't played it till it has run out. I expect that it will run about 8 hrs or more. There are 4 speakers; 2 front, 1 each side. A flap on the front drops down to expose a recess where your mp3 player will be held with a large elastic band (I suppose it could just sit in there, too). You can use the line in to play the music or the usb to charge, or if your mp3 player allows, you can charge and play.

I plan to buy another for my daughter who lives on the beach. She doesn't want to take an extension cord to the beach and is sick of paying for batteries for a boombox that only plays cds. She'll be able to safely play her amplified mp3 player. Sweet!

I won't review the battery/powerpack itself. There are plenty of reviews under this model without the speakers. Just remember to keep it plugged in to maintain the battery with a trickle charge.

I had a hard time finding very many reviews for this. I hope this was helpful. Bottomline: Don't expect your home stereo. Think mid quality boom box. This is a great way to play all your mp3 music for a long time at a decent volume and with a decent sound quality.

I can't believe they are claiming that this unit delivers a good sound. It might be handy around the house, but get something else if you're looking for a portable stereo that sounds decent.

This is the best unit I have ever had. We own a campground and we carry it all over the place listening to music on our golf cart. Its very strong the sound is great very clean sounding. The battery last forever before you have to charge. Its nice to have as back up for electricty when needed. The lights are great for sitting around the lake and hearing music. The case its in is very strong. It is a heavy radio I don't recomend it for kids or elderly people.

This is a great idea, if only it would live up to it. I received this power pak and charged it for 48 hours as instructed. When I turned it on, it immediately dropped from 100 percent power to 90. When I plugged my mp3 player to it, it dropped to 70 percent before I played one song, and it went downhill from there.

The sound is terrible at any volume.

I figure the rechargeable battery was probably defective so I ended up having to return it.

The only pro to this order was Amazon's great service

The PowerPaqck Sound (PPS) is similar in design to the PowerPack SOLAR (no longer available). The PPS comes with stereo speakers and amplifier instead of the 4.5"X11.5" solar panel. I'm happy to have both units.

Since I don't care for MP3 Players I tested the PPS with my Sony CD player, my portable radio, and my 9" portable TV. For a portable system I think it's great. Really great. The AC outlets work and the plug-in to charge while the car runs also works. The lights work. I do wish they were independently controlled instead of both on or both off. They're on opposite ends of the unit. Anyway, everything that I tested works properly.

The instruction manual is straightforward and well written. It even includes instruction for charging with a solar panel. The PPA can recharge a cell phone (which I don't have), charge and power a tablet (which I do have), and either run/ or/and power other low power pleasurables.

One thing they left out was the ability to attach to a solar panel directly. This can be done with the addition of very small and inexpensive hardware (voltage controller?) and it is on other Xantex PowerPack units. This would also allow the unit to be connected to an outside battery for extra long utility between recharges.

The main thing I don't like is that the internal battery is not user replaceable. In five years or so, if I live that long, I'll have to check to determine if battery replacement by a local battery dealer is worth the cost. But by then Xantrex will probably have a better/stronger/lighter unit powered by rechargeable lithium batteries.

We bought this unit as a back up for other cell phone chargers we have. It was inexpensive and does the job. It's one of few types that will fit our older GM car lighter socket.

Doesn't fit our ancient phones. Not worth sending back, due to its original cost vs. return shipping. We tried, we failed. We live in the past. Oh well.

I ordered two of these chargers and they only sent me one. I didn't received the second one until weeks later. When I finally got it, it didn't work. Then my first one fell apart in my hands. Save your four dollars and invest a few more dollars for something that works and will last. So disappointed :(

I put one star because there was no option for none. You get what you pay for, I guess, and return postage for a refund would cost me more than the refund. I had it less than a month. It was plugged into my car charger socket since I got it. I used it to charge my phone exactly once, then it stopped working. Parts have come loose inside and rattle around. Do yourself a favor and spend some money for something better.

Stanley Ll1000 Li-Ion Battery Jump Starter

Ordered Stanley Model LI1000 jump starter 3/7/12 and received unit 3/9/12. Spent weekend unsuccessfully attempting to charge it and then found that Amazon doesn't accept returns on this item! I then called the manufacturer, Stanley, and they expected me to pay shipping charges to repair an item that they released as defective. Then I called Amazon and was promised an immediate replacement--the "brightest" spot in the whole transaction. We'll see how well the replacement performs. Incidentally, they directed me to dispose of the original unit as I see fit.

So far this booster pack has only been used a handful of times, but it has not failed me yet. I charged it up immediately when I got it and it sat in the box for months before the first use. I used it to jump start a 2002 3/4 ton GM truck with 8.1 liter engine. The truck's battery was totally flat. This booster pack was connected to the truck and I pressed the button to start the boost process (note that this will only boost for a short period of time before you need to push the button again safety feature I guess). I let the booster pack "charge" the truck's battery for a few minutes, and then hit the key. Viola! Truck is running. The built in LED light on this pack is also handy for night time operations. I am very pleased with this so far. Time will tell if the Li-ion battery will last longer than the dry cell packs in all the other booster packs I have owned,

I was excited about getting and using this product lots of promise. But this product JUST DOES NOT WORK. PERIOD. Not much else to say, but don't waste your money on this. To be frank, I was a bit spectical of this product because of the price. Lithium ion batteries I have seen are much more expensive. Just another cheap product that doesn't work.
