The charger did not work for the phone it was advertised for. The charger fit the phone, it simply would not charge it.

It did work for a different phone....a samsung infuse 4g. Since it worked on the other device I gave it 3 stars.

Received my batteries today. Other vendors put Sealed Lead Acid batteries into cardboard boxes for shipping. Ecom just uses a singe layer of thin bubble wrap and places them in a Priority Mail envelope.

The two batteries arrived dented, cracked and discharged.

Now I understand why Ecom can sell them at such a low price.

Next time I'll buy from a reputable dealer and avoid Amazon marketplace dealers.

I ordered 5 of these batteries less than 18 months ago and only one is still working. I ended up buying a new APC backup supply which comes with a three year warranty including the battery. I would not recommend these batteries for their short life.

Purchased two of these for a Battery Backup after its original batteries lasted approximately 3 1/2 years and finally gave up. Worked great for a little over 2 years then just died. These are definitely a lower quality battery than the OEM CGB batteries supplied with the battery backup.

I bought this mainly becuase of the price. I got the item promptly. After using it for a week, I figured that the charging stops if the phone is in certain positions. I thought it is a bad piece and contacted the seller. Seller was prompt to send a replacement. After about a week, same issue with the replacement unit. I think there is some kind of fundamental issue with the product and I would recommend to spend few more dollars and get a more reliable unit. I would not recommend the product.

i have two 12 volt automobile batteries which are used in summer for my boat. i hooked up the said charger to them. i check the voltages on the batteries at least once a week. float voltages are approx. 13.4. i would like to see 13.8 volts, but this is acceptable. they also charge up the batteries fine after using them for a while. So far so good.

I purchased this product and when it came I was excited but what I found out was that it did not perform at all like it was described. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The seller was just OK because they did get it to me within a reasonable amount of time but the people that answered the phone didn't have a clue as to the product's capabilities.

IOTA Engineering Converter and Charger

Iota products are now very LOW quality China cheap import chargers. My company has 70+ trucks using these Iota converter. After 2 weeks of being put into service the Iota converters started failing.

They are being replaced under warranty, but it is costing my company over $500.00 per truck to replace that Iota will not pay. Yesterday I learn that the replacement units are now failing as well. Iota has lots of problems, stay away!!!

I was looking for an RV converter that was also good as a charger, and this one looked like the price/performance winner. It's a modern switching power supply with a small footprint, and on command it can operate at a high enough voltage to rapidly bulk charge your properly sized flooded-cell lead-acid deep cycle battery (the dual-voltage key to accomplish this is included with the converter, taped to the cooling fan).

Temperature compensation for charge voltage is not available, and I found the use of a square-key bolt for the battery cables perplexing and irritating. I would have much preferred the more common hex-key bolt.

Combined with an inexpensive IOTA IQ4 charge controller, the DLS-55 becomes an automatic 3 stage charger with equalization every 7 days. I liked this as a cheaper, modular solution for my battery maintenance needs. If I am not happy with the IQ4, I can easily replace it with a more expensive charge controller and use it with the DLS-55.

I purchased an IOTA charger/converter for my personal travel trailer. I have a RV repair business and I have installed quite a few IOTA charger/converters and have never had a failure. Unfortunately, the unit I installed in my own trailer failed sending too much voltage to the batteries thus ruining a new set of batteries. I was really worried that I would have a hard time collecting for the batteries, however IOTA not only promptly shipped a new unit but upon being furnished the invoice for the batteries promptly reimbursed me for the cost of the batteries. DEWALT DCF880B 20-Volt Li-Ion 1/2-Inch Impact Wrench Kit with Detent Pin

Started using this impact to drive in 3/8 lag bolts (3 inch long) into 2X4 wood and performed well. I then noticed that the battery had very little charge on it and so I switched to a fully charged battery. With a fully charged battery it performed exceptionally, driving the lag screws into the 2X4 was extremley quick like there was no resistance in the wood at all. This impact is very light and easy to use compared to the 18V 1/2 inch impact that I had which was heavy and awkward to use in tight spaces.

Not to powerfull but is OK battery last long for ever and this little gun fits any ware good product for the money

I admit that I was a little worried when I ordered this tool and prepared myself that I'll probably exchange it for the big bro version (DCF889B) if it didn't pull the lug nuts off my SUV. I was amazingly surprised that this little bad boy performed more than I expected. It took off the lug nuts easily (I had a torque wrench and tested a few lug nuts before using this tool; at least a couple were torqued at least 100 ft./lbs.)

I would have preferred the hog-ring vs the detent pin, but couldn't find the bare tool only kit. The detent pin is not a deal breaker for me so I don't really mind it.

I just used this impact to remove the lug bolts torqued at 110 ft/lbs.

Worked like a champ!

I talked to a Chinese student here at my college and this translated out to Stormwind which is an interesting name for a company. Now to the review.

This transceiver is very nicely made. I would thought that for the price it would be broken easily espeically when it came with a strap, ear/microphone and a charger. Now this transceiver is not for the beginner ham who doesn't have experience with programming this radio. It is highly suggested that if you buy this rig, that you get a programming cable so it is easier to program. Since the repeater offset is only good in Frequency mode, channel mode it does not save to memory.

In order to save to memory you first put in the RECEIVE frequency then Transmit frequency. Now be sure to put in the T-CTS (menu 13) or if the repeater transmits a tone then you set the R-CTS (Menu 11) For example 147.280 uses CTCSS then you would set Menu 11 and Menu 13 to the same tone. which is set in each menu item and it always starts from 67.0 even if it is set to say 100.0 good The good thing is you can type the tone in eg. 1035 will input the tone of 103.5hz before saving to the memory. Then after saving that you then have to set the offset frequency which will be 147.880 and save it to the same memory channel. When you save the receive frequency into the memory it will confirm by saying "Receiving memory." and the offset frequency by saying "Transmitting memory" and to confirm the settings exit the menu and switch to Memory mode and go to the channel you saved. It will show a +on the top of the display. Then if all is set right you should be able to access the repeater.

You have to repeat this for every channel you program. It is fine if you have 5 repeaters in your area, but very tedious if you have 25. This is why the usb programming cable is a must. This package has the handstrap even though it does not state that like other sellers do. For a radio around $50.00 it is an excellent buy for the cash strapped ham. Also a huge suggestion if you need to hear the repeater tail you must turn the STE from 5(ms) to 0(MENU 35) and RP_STE to off (MENU 36) and RPT_RL (MENU 37)

F-SMA (Reverse SMA) can be adapted from F-SMA to M-SMA for wider compatibility with an adapter there are also F-SMA to BNC as well as F-SMA to SO-239 ones that can expand types of antennas used.

This has an unlocked transmitting range on both bands so be careful if you use as a scanner, you may accidently transmit in areas you are not authorized.

Be advised that a particular seller (that claims to be the actual distributor for Baofeng based in KY) advertises the original UV-5R radio but then ships the UV-5RA instead. Normally this would be no big deal, as the UV-5R series of radios are exactly the same inside and have no additional features except one the "newer" UV-5RA unit has a different front plastic face plate but that newer faceplate causes additional problems the design of the newer faceplate on the UV-5RA does NOT allow you to use the normal Baofeng 3800mAH battery (nor the cheaper 3600mAH generic clone battery that the same "distributor" claims (and lists) as an actual Baofeng 3800mAH battery. They claim their generic battery will work unmodified on the UV-5R series of radios (their justification for the switch), but it doesn't. See my Baofeng Extended Battery review for more info).

Yes, you can modify (on your own) the Extended Battery so it will fit the UV-5RA (or the other series of UV-5R radios with modified faceplates), but if the "distributor" lists the UV-5R (but then switches your order to whatever they have in stock instead of what they have listed) and then ships (in the same order) a generic clone Extended Battery that isn't the actual Baofeng AND doesn't work/fit with the radio they shipped, why is it your job to modify their items to make them work?

In addition, when you (as an Amazon customer) point out their multiple listing errors (shipping a non-Baofeng battery, shipping a less than advertised 3600mAH model (vs. the actual Baofeng 3800mAH model that was advertised on the listing), and shipping an Extended Battery that won't work on the UV-5RA radios that they switched your order to and shipped with them in the same box), they claim that:

a) Baofeng doesn't even make an Extended Battery (funny since I own several already with Baofeng Electronics' label on the inside of the case and Baofeng's name imprinted into the back of the plastic battery case), and that

b) if I'm not happy I should pay to ship my order back to them (this is how they treat a customer that ordered multiple radios, extended batteries, and programming cables all at once and paid over $117 in shipping fees)?

None of these issues may bother some folks, especially those that either don't care which model of radio they get and/or never plan to get an Extended Battery as an accessory, but I wanted folks to know what customer service issues you may face in dealing with this Baofeng "distributor" in KY.

This charger is very nifty. I really liked the design of it. The cord is a bit short. Don't forget that it retracts via the button. The button blends in well and can be hard to see in a dim lit vehicle, especially in the winter evenings. I had forgotten about it and was used to my other retractables where you need to pull all the way out before it winds back in. Needless to say, I pulled firmly, but not that hard. I didn't feel any tear or break, but the very thin cable couldn't stand up to it. The charger stopped working. I had it all of one day.

Great idea, not very well built. I never did get to fully charge a device, so couldn't say if it rapid charged the Galaxy Nexus.

This one needs some TLC, but could work well for someone else. I ended up getting a Verizon car charger since it can charge 2 devices at once.

Good for the price. Probably as good as something you'd pay 3 times as much for at a cell phone store. 3 bucks.... who could ask for more, really?

JR Products 48315 White Deluxe Assist Handle

I purchased JR Products 48315 Deluxe White Assist Handle from Amazon in the fall of 2010, but didn't install it on my travel trailer until the spring of 2011. It was easy to install drill 4 holes and attach with screws/flat washers (not included) and served its purpose well, but unfortunately it only lasted a few months. Although the mounting screws remain securely fastened to the trailer, the ends of the handle where it touches the side of the trailer (top and bottom) are cracking and the handle itself is pulling away from the trailer. If it lasted a few years I would have ordered another as a replacement. But apparantly the quality of the plastic isn't up to the task, so I'll have to shop for a better quality handle.

I have both this 750 watt model and a 200 watt model. They both do their jobs fine, consistently doubling my household voltage as measured with a multimeter. I have products that I purchased overseas and this was the simplest way to keep using them. I have not used these abroad to step voltage down. Inside, there really is not too much to the units. You select the input voltage on the rear (thus bridging that circuit) and then it all goes to the windings and then to the front receptacles. My 750 watt model had the light on the power switch fail on the first day, but this is a non-issue for me. It probably got jostled in shipping but it is not worth returning. And I don't think there is going to be a whole lot of variation among competing transformers that use the same technology. Indeed, the Chinese produced transformers appear to have largely the same design, though with different printing on the front. With free shipping (since these are heavy little boxes) and the lowest price among its competitors, this was a good deal.

I moved from the UK to the US a couple of years ago and when I first came over I didn't want to replace everything which ran on 240V instead of the 110V over here. This was a great unit for the price and coped well with everything from vacuum cleaners to stereo systems, dvd players and everything inbetween. Mine is still going strong and I find it a very useful unit.

I purchased this transformer before returning to the UK where I wanted to use some US 110V products. The input lead is fitted with a US three pin plug which I changed for a standard UK three pin plug, the input lead was UK standard, Brown Live, Blue Neutral, Green/Yellow Ground. Plugged in a US extension lead and there was a big bang and the lights went out. Luckily nothing was damaged.

Checks showed that Live to Neutral was OK at 110Volts, but Neutal to Ground at the output measured 240 Volts.

The (apparently) UK input lead had neutral and live crossed so watch out! Once corrected the unit works OK.

Two other transformers I bought with different power ratings, 200 and 500 Watt were exactly the same.

I purchased this transformer for my time deployed to Iraq, and it works extremely well. I have it hooked up to a coffee maker, and even though the transformer's fuse is rated at 7 or 8 amps, the 10 amp coffee maker still functions soundly with this transformer. That may be a plus or minus depending on your personal application, but for my needs this couldn't be better. Inexpensive, good build quality, and I am a satisfied customer.

Just received the unit via Federal Express.

I opened the box and immediately noticed the un-raveled electrical cord. I then removed the unit itself from the product box & plastic bag/sleeve and immediately noticed scratches on the top of the unit.

I further inspected the unit and discovered additional scratches along with dents, obvious dust/caked dust in corners and previous wear and use markings.

There was also a plethora of smudges and finger prints.

This unit is not new and seems to be previously used, refurbished or a floor model. I wish this information would have been disclosed prior to my purchasing this item. This is UNACCEPTABLE and I am quite displeased with this Amazon.com purchase.

Bought this as a replacement for the car charger that came with my Nuvi. This charger puts my Nuvi 360 into mass storage mode which makes it totally unusable while in the car. Works great charging the IPOD independently of a computer. The IPOD standalone charger by Apple costs $30 and can only charge from household current. This setup costs half as much and works for AC household plus a seperate item that uses a car cigarette lighter.

I purchased the black set of wall and car usb power adapters for my IPod Nano 2g and as far as I can tell they do not work. I plug them in, and then plug my IPod into them, and the charging symbol flashes for a few seconds, however about 4 seconds later the charging symbol goes away.

I use it to recharge my LG Rumor Touch whenever I am in my car. I have only had it for a month and would like to see how long it lasts. I should be able to get my money's worth since all it has to do is sit in my car and charge my phone. I would tell anyone that needs a good car charger for very little money to buy this product.

Works perfectly be carefully unlike a one from Verizon will charge with car off both good and bad. I doubt something using 5v will kill you battery but I don't think it will be happy with it. Perfect for the price.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It charges my phone perfectly and the size is not a problem at all. I do like the fact it has an LED to show the charger as power. Makes it easy to be sure its plugged in right, as one of our cars the lighter is a bit wonky (this same car's lighter is only on with the ignition, so it's another good reminder).

Note: I'm docking one star since SF sells this same charger, with a different phone list, for less here at Amazon... Look around... The less expensive "LG 5 Pin" charger works just fine with my Optimus.

As this was my first Android device I had no idea how fast the battery gets used up. I went to the LG website in search of the car charger and they wanted way more than I was willing to pay. I went to Amazon and found it for about $30 less. I'm pretty sure it's the same one LG sells off it's website, at least it says LG on it anyway. It works good, actually charges and not just a power supply.

The charger is great. The chord is a little bit shorter and tightly coiled for my preference, but no deal breaker.

Good charger for on the go, but kind of "cheap" if you are looking for a day to day charger.

I thought this product was great at first. Cord charged the phone well, retracted nicely and was compact/easy to store. Nevertheless, after only 4 uses, it broke and is no longer functional. The metal pin at the bottom goes flush with the plastic b/c the internal rod broke into pieces. The glass from inside the internal mechanism is still in my cigarette lighter also. Maybe I got a faulty one, but pretty flimsy product.
