Battery came in a timely manner and did not work properly. THEY CONTACTED ME TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK!!!!!!!!!!!! That is not a misprint, they sent me an email asking if the product was working satifactory. I sent them back a one line email stating the battery did not work but I wanted to keep the charger and just replace the battery. I promptly received a new email (with their apologies) stating that they are sending out a new battery immediately. I received it the next day ALONG with a postage paid return receipt. Not only did they send me a new battery without any hassles whatsoever, but they paid to ship it back! Who knew customer service still existed on the net. BTW, the new battery works great. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

Hard to complain about getting an OEM battery AND a car charger for less than half of what they would have charged at the Sprint store for the battery alone--assuming they had it in stock, which they didn't. Shipping was prompt and the items worked as expected. Unlike an earlier reviewer, I saw no evidence to suggest that the battery which was shipped to me was anything other than brand new.

Cord once pulled out does not retract and be very careful I got 2 of these within a month I have broken one. As long as your not doing anything on your phone it charges otherwise it actually seems to help drain the battery. Ended up buying a full car mount and its always good to have the back up. Hey for 4 bucks what do you expect say its worth it as long as you are careful and understand what circumstances it charges under.

This charger works OK if you are not using the phone while charging. I have a dock in my car and use my phone to stream music, talk on the phone and/or navigate. This charger cant keep up so I doubt if its really putting out 1a. If I am not using the phone at all it charges the phone, but even that is a little slow for my taste.

I was very very disappointed, the charger has never worked, didn't seem to even make the connection in the cigarette lighter. This was a complete waste of time and money. I wanted to get this product for my iPod touch so that I don't have to turn on a computer every time my iPod needs to be charged. I was going to pay $20 separately for a wall charger and car charger at a store, until I found this on Amazon. As is described, the wall plug and the car adapter have USB docks in them. iPods aren't the only things that these things can recharge, though. I plugged in my phone via USB and it worked as I expected. This is a nice feature because it will save me from having to buy a new car adapter for every new phone I get, so long as I have a USB cable for said phone, that is. It'll even recharge my Xbox 360 wireless controller! Sometimes I need to recharge my Xbox 360 controller but the Xbox 360 is annoyingly loud, turned on, when you're not using it. Such a pleasant capability!

Aside from the wall plug and car adapter, the USB data cable works just as well for syncing iPods as the one that comes with them. The fact that the cord is retractable is very convenient because it eliminates any tangling of other cords and it's easy to just slip in your pocket in case you're planning on recharging your iPod somewhere like at school. It isn't as long as the one that came with my iPod, but it certainly is nice to have because sometimes I need to recharge my iPod with my MacBook, but have a hard time bringing that long messy cord that comes with the iPod.

All in all, the wall plug, the car adapter, and the retractable USB data cables defeat messiness and will save you money on extra junk that you think you may need. It's a must own for ANYONE who needs to charge a device via USB. Did I mention that it'll even recharge Xbox 360 or PS3 wireless controllers? Whether it's an iPod, a phone, a game controller, or whatever that needs to be recharged via USB, I highly recommend this product to anyone.

From what I've experienced, the other reviewers are correct: this product is either not designed to charge an iPhone 3G from a wall outlet (the most likely case since the Firewire pinouts were removed for the 3G), or else has such quality control problems that only a minority of wall units sold (judging from the reviews) actually work. The presentation on my iPhone is that the status icon on the top of the iPhone switches to the charging icon, and the full screen image with the green battery bar graph appears. But the unit doesn't really charge. And when you try to "slide to unlock" when connected to the wall charger, the arrow button never slides, and you cannot get to the Home screen (or the Enter Passcode screen if you have a passcode).

There are several online reports to the effect that several generic third-party iPod/iPhone chargers no longer work with the iPhone 3G. That seems to be true here, despite the claims to 3G-compatibilty.

The USB cable should work fine, though you can purchase it very cheaply by itself. I've not tried the car charger, and honestly wasn't in a big hurry to do so since I've traditionally had bad experiences with such devices (although I must admit that today's rechargeable batteries are much more resilient than the NiCads and lead acid gel contraptions that us greybeards started out with in the 1980s).

So your experience may be better, and it's not a major purchase, but since it's claimed that this is iPhone 3G compatible, I'm giving it one star and suggesting you look elsewhere.

I have two of these for my two Battery Tender Jr's. They are perfectly suited for the Junior. I intend to buy another Battery Tender Jr. and will DEFINITELY buy another pouch. Some of reviews incorrectly say this is cheaply made of vinyl, they are actually made of water resistant nylon. I concur with the reviews that say they cannot store their extension cables in these pouches for me, the Battery Tender Jr (with cords neatly wrapped) was all I could manage to store in mine. Here's the REAL scoop on these:

1) Approx. 6" x 7" x 2" (sizes approx. from stitching to stiching)

2) Made of water resistant nylon seems to be fairly durable (piping & stitching only single-stiched)

3) Great clear vinyl "pocket" inside pouch for documentation (user instructions, etc.)

4) Double zipper pull meaning you can pull zippers from each side to meet in the middle to close the pouch.

5) Nifty little carrying strap

6) Company Name, Battery Tender Logo, & Company website silk screened on front

Nice pouch, but had I known the Deltran Battery Tender Plus comes in a re-usable plastic case, I wouldn't have purchased this pouch. Usually you have to get out the utility knife to extract the "prize" sealed inside the plastic casing, but this case was really nice--it just snapped open without any cutting and you can close it again when you put the charger away. The pouch is a little smaller than I expected, but then so is the battery charger--about the size of half a small masonry brick--not car battery size like my dad's Craftsman.

First off I want to say it feels solid. Unlike the Motorola one I had that had parts rattling in it from day one and lasted 6 months. I have been using it at work with a headset as well. It accepts all headset/speaker combos that use a Kenwood style jack. I have gotten great reception with this radio and my coworkers have all commented on how clear my transmissions are with or without the headset. I can also listen to the FM radio and transmit/receive on a VHF band at the same time. It is compact and the clip is a sturdy stamped metal. It was easy to program and didn't even need the supplied computer software. I had to reset all settings to get the radio to transmit on my works channels but that is done on the unit. Good buy.

For the price the TYT TH-F5 is hard to beat. Anyone that is looking for a good starter HAM radio... this is it. As a first responder backup communication is a must. So when the power goes out and the cell-towers are jammed this can be a life saver. Oh I bought two. His and Hers.

I purchased this radio as my first ham radio after passing the test. I was anxious to use the radio but sat and read the manual.. a few times. But I suddenly realized, no matter how much I read the manual, it still was "Hit and Miss" at best. For example, I wanted to program a local repeater's freq, so I looked in the manual, and on page 19 it says, "The desired frequency can be input directly by the keypad too, please refer to "Keypad Input Directly". Guess what? I couldn't find a page that said "Keypad Input Directly". I'm not going to bore you with other issues with this radio. But suffice it to say, I should have waited until I got my license "then" purchased a radio. If I had, I would have not purchased this one because I would have done more research on User-friendly radios. If one of you are very familiar with programming this radio, by all means send me a message, or share your findings with others. You'll probably save someone many hours of frustration.

After many hours of fumbling around with this HT I finally figured out how to program the CTCSS frequencies. The manual was of no real help in that the writers of this must assume you either 1, already have their products and know how to program it without an AS degree, or 2, you have the patience to sit and treat it like a puzzle. As far as the radio, I'll give it 4 stars for operability. The one person I spoke with did say I was crystal clear. But be warned, be prepared to sit down and take your time in programming it. I would start with page 35 of the manual.

This device does work, but be sure to recognize that it's rated at 400 mAh, the same as an iPod nano. An iPod Classic is 850 mAh and an iPhone 3GS has a 1400 mAh battery. So you can double the usable time of your nano, but nowhere near that on your iPhone. It is small, light, and convenient to carry. Also has a flashlight feature. You cannot charge the battery and power your iPod at the same time; this may be important to some. The short cable on the USB plus seems a bit flimsy, but it is conveniently carried within the body of the device.

I was worried about this not working on my Sprint Galaxy III, but it does the job just fine and has lasted me awhile where most chargers I buy online are made cheap and don't last for more than a couple months.

My APC Back-UPS 500 is probably 12+ years old, and the original battery no longer holds enough charge to get my power sipping Mac mini and LCD monitor through the tiniest power glitch, so I did my research and found this offered the best deal for the dollar. At 8.5AH, it has 20% more power than the original 7AH battery had when new. $12 vs. $45. No brainer. Delivery was quick, installation was pretty easy, and my ancient UPS is working as a UPS once again.

Like the first reviewer said this battery is rated another 10-15% higher than the 7.xAmp batteries and is the same price... easy decision. This extra capacity should not confuse any decent UPS controller and like expected the ES550 works fine with the extra capacity without issue. Mine came promptly and worked like a charm. Of coarse there is the distinct possibility that some Chinese marketing dude is just lying on the 8.5 AH rating but since it was the same price, I'm really not risking much.

1. The unit worked until the first power glitch (Back UPS ES550) then I got a replace battery alarm. I have tried the battery in 3 different ES550 units, same failure. I am returning for replacement and will updte this when that occurs.

2. Update-8.16.12contacted the seller (email) who responded very quickly and said to dispose of the defective unit and they sent a replacement priority mail same day. The new battery works fine. I have simulated a power fail and it worked with no glitches and recharged as expected.

3. This company is very responsive in their communications. I think the bad unit was a fluke and plan to order another for a backup unit I have. The extra amphour is a plus.

Used this to replace the battery in an APC ES 550. Worked perfect and much more economical than either another APC battery or replacing the whole unit.

I originally bought the APC ES 550 thinking about longevity and saving money down the road when the battery went bad. Thanks to this battery that has worked out well. As long as reliable replacement batteries are available, I think the APC ES 550 would have an indefinite life span.

Electrical connections on this battery were fine and not loose. Fit just like the battery it replaced.

After about 10 minutes I had the laptop unplugged (running on its battery) and everything except the DSL modem turned off. I had internet access and was working for the entire 2+ hr outage. Home power outage does not equal a DSL or broadband service outage, so this was pretty nice. If your UPS is a few years old don't replace it just get a new battery. This one recommeneded.

I have owned this charger for 9 years now. I still have the same battery in my motorcycle when i purchased the charger. I always plug the charger to the bike during the winter. I bought this to keep the battery in a little used car alive. I was a little upset when I read that it could take >50 hours to charge a smaller car battery, but in my case it had the battery fully charged in 10 hours ... I guess the battery wasn't as discharged as I expected. My only comment is that while they supply a ring terminal wiring set to leave permanently connected it is pretty useless for side connection batteries, as the rings are too small for the bolts :(

The charger works great. It charges quickly and when it's done it changes to green. The only problem with it is that if you play the unit while charging you get a buzz in the background. I purchased this charger with the TuneStick so I could play my ipod in the car and keep it charged up for long trips. When I drive it is often at least 2-3 hours away. This charger has worked perfectly for 2 years using it at least every other week for 2-3 hours at a time. Finally died last weekend so now I'm back for another. I feel I got my money's worth.

I needed a car charger for my iPods. The choice seemed to be between cheap and untrustworthy, and overpriced. This DLO model was the best compromise I could find. With just enough features to justify the $15 price.

I seem to have the opposite experience as the previous reviewer. This "charger" does not seem to charge my iPod Mini much at all. No matter how low the battery is, the indicator light on the charger almost always glows green when it is connected. I rarely ever see the amber color that indicates charging. The iPod will often lose power soon after removing it from this charger. This does not happen when I use the wall adapter to charge it.

But as for playing the iPod while it is plugged in the car, I have had no problems at all. The main reason I own this is to play the iPod in the car, and it works just fine for that.

The charger was suppose to be compatible with my GPS (Navigon 7310) but after a few mins it stopped working. The screen went blank and it won't charged. I do not recommand this at all. End up purchasing the Navigon car charger and my GPS worked again. So this was an faulty item.

I had to purchase the entire charging system because I lost the apartor the that snaps on the back of the Rino to charge the battery. It works well if you have all of the parts. I'm dissapointed that I could not buy the adaptor only. I had the buy the A/C part also which I did not lose. I apparently left it on the back of the Rino and went hiking. I guess it got cought on brush and snapped it off and I never knew it. So I will leave this one connected to the A/C cord at home.
