There are two standard USB slots, one at 2.1 Amps and the other at 1.0 Amps. They can be used at the same time to recharge most small electronics (or to help maintain the charge while they're in use) with a total output of 3.1 Amps. For instance, you can use an iPad in the 2.1 Amp slot while recharging an iPhone in the 1.0 Amp slot. Input is 10-18V DC.
The design is unobtrusive, sturdy black plastic, lightweight but solid. It has a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Having this in the car is not only handy for everyday use but is almost critical for long-distance trips or when there is a power outage.
The instruction booklet lists some of the known compatible and incompatible devices. I am hesitant about posting it here as it may be incomplete or change but it may be helpful:
Supports: iPhone, iPad, iPod, Samsung Galaxy Tab, all Kindles, Nook Color, HTC Flyer, Huawei tablets, most GPS.
Doesn't support: IPD, HP TouchPad, Asus transformer, Motorola Xoom.
A sample was provided for unbiased review.I purchased the item so I can charge my cell phone and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 while in the car. The product showed that it could charge other products besides the infernal i-pad, However when I attempted to charge the tablet in the car, the tablet would not register that it was being charged.
Would not recomend
Buy Bolse® 3.1 Amp Dual USB Port High Output Car Charger 15w - Black Now
This is a an easy-to-use charger, that will power and charge almost any device that uses a USB charger. I've got a lot of those not only phones and tablets, but cameras and portable chargers, and this works well with everything I've tried. It's solid and well-built. It's very compact, doesn't take a lot of space in the glove compartment, where it's ready to go when I need it. It grips securely into the power outlet. There's a blue LED light to signal when it's delivering power.
The dual outputs are ideal for both devices, like tablets, that need a 2.1 Amp, 5 Volt input and others, like smartphones, that need a smaller power charge. What's nice is that this will charge two items at once.
Works great, built to last. I'm very happy with it.
Note: I was provided this unit from the manufacturer for the purpose of testing and review.

This is a solid performing product that is very helpful to have in your car or truck. I like the fact that it can charge one or two devices simultaneously without any issues. Its dual port design has one port that can output 5 VDC at 2.1 Amps, which is good for high power tablets, and the second port can output 5 VDC at 1 Amp which is ideal for most smart phones. In reality the higher power 2.1 Amp port can be used to charge your smart phone at a faster rate without any issues. This is ideal if your iPhone for example is low and you are on a short run to the grocery, then you can get a faster charge and boost up your phone more quickly.
I like that the charger has a blue LED on the front that tells you that it is receiving power. In addition both ports are clearly marked with the current output rating. The specifications are also silkscreened on the side of the car charger. The charger has a built in fuse that prevents over charging, over voltage and short circuiting. The total simultaneous output of the charger from both ports combined is 3.1 Amps. Charging will stop when your device battery is fully charged. The unit also comes with a 1 year warranty.
It is ideal that the charger has two standard USB output ports so you can charge any device that you own that needs a USB style of voltage and current. Just remember to take your charging cables with you or purchase an extra set to keep in your vehicle.
My only slight negative is that the charger is quite long at 3.6 inches from the tip to the back. A little more than 2 inches of the charger will stick out of your car charger port so make sure that you have adequate space to allow for this. It is also important to note that this charger is not compatible with HP TouchPad, Asus Transformer or Motorola Xoom.
Overall I rate this product a 5 star item and in my testing it did a good job of charging our iPhones and iPads.
I was supplied with a sample for test and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.
