Cellet Micro Bullet Car Charger with Retractable Data Cable for Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, Pantech

Cellet Micro Bullet Car Charger with Retractable Data Cable for Samsung, HTC, Motorola, LG, Pantech, Nokia, Blackberry, and Other Compatible SmartphonesThe charger part of this combo is fine. The retractable cable however is another story. It does not move freely and sticks often when trying to retract. I purchased another one from this seller and it works much better. Luck of the draw I guess. Charges fine, but then my other cord did too...

Rapid Car Charger + Home Travel Charger for AT&T LG Vu CU920

Rapid Car Charger + Home Travel Charger for AT&T LG Vu CU920I am pleased with the chargers they work great. My only wish is that the cords were longer.

I was looking for a phone charger for my car. My phone is 4 years old. The local chain stores sold an adapter that cost $30.00! It's an old phone. They don't make the model anymore. I knew it wasn't going to be worth it. If I'd had the money for that I would rather have put towards a new phone.

I found this site for chargers. Not only did it come with a charger for the car. It also came with a home charger. Which I now use as my travel charger. Both of them came to the amount $1.50 plus shipping. That brought the full price to $4.50. Pretty awesome! For the record they both work great. Thanks again and I would recommend this company to anyway. -Stinky

These 3 things work well. I'm especially pleased with the battery, before I had to charge my phone every day or it was dead whether I used it or not. Now the battery lasts several days like when I got the phone new. Both chargers work, but as another reviewer said, it would be nice if the cord for the AC adapter was longer.

VCAN Blinc 136 Gloss Black X-Large Full Face Helmet with Ace of Spades Graphics

VCAN Blinc 136 Gloss Black X-Large Full Face Helmet with Ace of Spades GraphicsBought this one for the wife in conjunction with one for myself. These were bluetooth 1.0 helmets that were reconfigured with bluetooth 2.0 hardware. They connect very easily to my EVO, streams audio and phone work as desired, especially as it relates to low speed usage.

Okay, she constantly complains she cannot hear...ONLY ONE SPEAKER! I have one exactly like this and I concur, the single speaker blows. They connect easily, although they function identically, the bluetooth hardware is different. They connected and work as specified, but after say 25 Mph the sound is not loud enough. It is easy enough for her to operate, she is a bit slow technologically speaking, but it gets annoying when she cannot hear me....or is that a good thing...lol

It functions well as a helmet, she states it is comfy too. The environmental noise is not too bad either.

Modular is a better option. I just received a modular helmet today, it has stereo bluetooth speakers (TWO SPEAKERS!), functions are again, identical. The same hardware as my other vcan bluetooth helmet but sound quality with two speakers is HUGE Improvement.

-IBuyAlot

Me and my girldfriend bought this Vcan bluetooth helment. Bluetooth is great, you can pair with other helmet of the same brand. It's great when you are driving slow, when you are driving fast all you have to do is to speak slowly.

Music is perfect all the time. Just adjust the volume.

Perfect Design I love it, it has a tiger and a ace.

But no complains, I've had it for 3 months now, and it works like a charm, haven't experienced any of the problems the other people are talking about, or maybe I'm just lucky.

Buy VCAN Blinc 136 Gloss Black X-Large Full Face Helmet with Ace of Spades Graphics Now

It's been a month to the day that I received my helmet. The first thing that I noticed was that the design on the helmet, which is more of a decal wasn't put on correctly. Secondly, trying to charge the battery for the bluetooth was pretty horrid since it seems like it has more of a short in it than anything. When it's plugged in, the light doesn't stay red. I have to readjust it and it takes a while to do that. Once I have adjusted it, I have to carefully sit it down. In the past month, the decal that's on the helmet is cracked all over. I'm not sure why, but I'm guessing it shrunk in the heat. The helmet only has two vents. While riding, it's OK. But most of your air flow will probably come from under the helmet. While sitting at a light, you're going to have to flip the lid every time because you won't be able to breathe. Lastly, the flip visor, over the past month, has started developing cracks in it. At first, it was a couple, then they started stretching from the sides to the front. I'm very disappointed in that. In hind sight, I wouldn't buy a VCAN helmet again.

The bluetooth is 2.0 and connected to my iPhone fine with stereo sound. There are two speakers, one over each ear. The sound quality was lacking until I turned my phone off of 'control loudness' for the music. At 60+ mph, I can still hear just fine. The same with mapping navigation. Don't expect to be able to hold a conversation though. The mic is horrible. You will not be able to talk while riding a Harley at even 10 mph unless you're yelling.

I know on other reviews people say that the helmet is "cheaply made". I took that as more from the standpoint of how it was assembled, in which case it wasn't assembled with any quality involved. However, with the cracks in the visor, I can only imagine what's going on in the black part which I cannot see through. Therefore, before something happens, I'm on the hunt for a different helmet.

Retractable Cell Phone Car Charger for Palm Pixi Plus

Retractable Cell Phone Car Charger for Palm Pixi PlusThis charger works well with the Palm Pixi Plus and the Blackberry Tour, so I suspect it will work well with most phones that charge with a Micro USB. The retractable cord feature is really handy. The cable is very thin, but that would be expected to get the retractability feature. The only concern that keeps this from being 5-stars is the ratcheting for the cord. It sounds very cheap, such that I wonder how long it will last. But for the price, I'm quite satisfied!

Worked for about a month then fell apart. Straight to trash. My car charger portal is tight so putting it in and out a lot eventually broke it. If you are a person who puts the charger in and leaves them then this will probably be good for you.

This charger is a joke don't bother. The second I plugged it up to my phone it started making the screen all wacky, picking options by itself.. I had to turn it off to get it to charge and even then it basically just kept the charge that was on it. It didn't fill up the phone battery halfway in an hour. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.

AT&T Car Charger w/ USB Port for Apple iPhone 3GS 3G & iPod

AT&T Car Charger w/ USB Port for Apple iPhone 3GS 3G & iPodThis is the legit AT&T charger and it works with my 3GS iPhone. It's got a female USB port under the swivel cover which I use to charge my blackberry. I have 2 complaints.

1.) The fuse is not removable so if the fuse burns out you can't replace it.

2.) The cord swirls, so my iPhone has to recharge upside down because the distance from my outlet is just a little short to where I keep my phones when they are charging.

Lastly, the unit I bought came DOA. I contacted the seller (YRLess) and they sent me out a replacement unit very quickly.

UPDATE 10/01/10: My sister-in-law, her husband, and best friend bought the iPhone 4. I tested this charger on their iPhone 4, and all 3 phones charged correctly.

This is the same car charger that is sold at AT&T store for $29.95...buy it here and save 50%!

The first car charger I received was definitely used and did not work, so I contacted the seller and asked for a replacement. A second charger was promptly sent, but upon receipt it also did not work. When I connected it to my iPhone, a message box appeared stating "charging is not supported by this accessory". I contacted the seller again and asked for a refund, which was promptly processed. I would not recommend purchasing this charger at all, at least not for an iPhone 3GS. Also be aware that the charger you receive will mostly likely not be in "new" condition.

Want AT&T Car Charger w/ USB Port for Apple iPhone 3GS 3G & iPod Discount?

Verizon store tried to get me to pay $50+ for case + car charger + screen protector when I bought my iPhone in their store; so I decided to find it online instead.

It works with Verizon iPhone 4 and AT&T iPhone 3GS; and I really like the design of an additional USB port, perfect if two iPhone users travel in the same vehicle.

One small problem is that the cord is short; if you own a car with charging port far from driver's seat, you will find it difficult to keep the charger on and talk on the phone at the same. But it works fine if using with the port under the airplane seat, for example, AA MD80.

This charger is in a reasonable price -I work in the cellphone industry so I know the BOM cost of this kinda stuff is usually a dozen RMB or so; but I do appreciate the distribution and logistics. So as long as it works (owned for about a month now), it's a great product...

Ok so I got something similar that directly put my GPS on power sync mode so I was unable to use while driving. But here's a trick that might work depending on your GPS.

Turn on you car, plug the charger in your car (in the cigarette lighter adapter) but don't plug it to your GPS yet.

Turn on your GPS, when you see the battery sign on the top right of your screen (the sign that shows how much battery is left) touch that sign for about 8 seconds, your GPS should turn to diagnostic mode, plug your charger to the GPS then press exit, your GPS should now work as usual!

You will have to do this every time, but it only takes a few seconds to do all this....

Hope this helps...

DuroMax XP10000E 10,000 Watt 16 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator With Wheel Kit And El

DuroMax XP10000E 10,000 Watt 16 HP OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator With Wheel Kit And Electric StartI was apprehensive about buying this generator because they don't have a network of service centers... they tell you to take it to any small engine shop near you and contact them about charges under warranty. I called their cust svc and talked with them about the need for third party verification regarding parts needed and they assured me none was required.. I could fix it myself if I wanted.. just call them and tell them what I needed and they'd send it out. That seemed fair enough. It took a little over a week to get mine and it was delivered by USF Holland freight and arrived in pristine condition.. hats off to Holland. I got the liftgate delivery and he backed that big semi right up to my garage door...took his hand truck and set the small skid it was banded to in the center of my garage.. he required no help.. I never touched it until he was gone. These come packed in a cardboard carton and the packaging is well engineered.. thick foam all sides.. top and bottom.. all loose parts.. wheel kit.. etc.. in their own little nook in the foam. It is very heavy but you can get it assembled and off the skid working alone.. I did and I'm 62 yrs old. I pulled the front until it overhung the skid about 10" and assembled the wheel kit then pivoted one side of the rear until it overhung and assembled that strut then blocked the rear strut up with a 4x4 and pulled the skid out of the way and assembled the other strut. I filled it with good synthetic blend oil and put about a gallon of gas in it. I turned the fuel valve on.. it's located a few inches to the right of the choke handle. I pulled the choke handle all the way out and tried to start it with the key... the battery was totally dead. I pulled it out and put it on the charger and stuck the battery outa my lawn tractor in it and tried to start it. It was running almost before I could let go of the key. These Powermax units all have an idle control on them so there's no speed adjustments of any kind possible and none needed. It idles very fast.. all generators do.. they have to to produce current. It ran smooth with no fluctuating noticeable in engine speed. Next I took my voltmeter and checked the output on all the current-carrying poles on all the receptacles. I got a steady 119 volts everywhere. With a target of 120 I considered this to be excellent.. my house current won't hold that. The reason I bought this big unit in the first place was I had hoped it would start and run my big window air conditioner... it is huge.. 30k btu's. I plugged the extension cord I had bought into the L14-30 240v receptacle on the generator and ran it inside the house and plugged up the conversion cord I'd made going to the 6-30 plug on the air conditioner and turned it on. It fired right up with no bogging down and I never noticed the engine on the genny pick up at all. I let it run about a half hour... let the compressor on the air conditioner cycle off and on many times and watched the voltmeter on the genny. It never moved.. engine really never picked up speed either so this generator runs that big air conditioner without any strain on it at all.. I was VERY relieved. The other things I plan to run during an outage won't even approach the surge requirements of that big air conditioner so that issue was put to rest. It turned out that the battery in mine was no good.. wouldn't hold a charge even a half hour. I called MaxTool and told them and true to their word there was no hassle.. they sent me a brand new battery and shipped it FexEx at no charge. I wondered if maybe I had been sent a generator that had been sitting in inventory a year or so but no.. the data tag on it shows a MFG date of May 2007.. I bought it in late August so I got a brand new one.. just had a bad battery. I tried the pull start several times and it always starts on one pull. I go out about once every two weeks and start it and let it run awhile to get oil thru it good.. keep a maintenance trickle charger on it all the time. I can't speak to what it will do over time but outa the box it's everything it was promised to be.. I love it so far. I almost bought a Coleman but those units got horrible reviews.. rampant with quality issues.. leaking gas all over.. horrible vibration issues.. etc.. also they have no idle control and most no electric start and are overpriced terribly. I'm glad I bought this Powermax... couldn't be happier at this point.. good luck to you.

Received Item as promised, great generator, easy to assemble, at 72 I had it ready to rock and roll in about 2 hour. Packaging was above average and with tailgate delivery I never had to touch the unit until after the driver left. Filled with oil and gas, turn on the gas valve and away it went. I back fed my main panel, hit the transfer switch and powered my whole house

with hardly any surge in the generator. Perfect for the backup I wanted. Used 50a 4 wire plug, 4/c #8 cord.

I purchased the unit in October 2008 and had the first call to service in late January 2009 when ice and show caused wide spread, multi-day power outages. At first operation I discovered that the 50 amp receptacle on the generator was broken internally and as a result power surges were sent into the house. I quickly disconnected and an electrician discovered the broken receptacle ... totally cracked. He replaced it (in freezing ice and snow) and then everything worked fine. We went for three days with generator power. Never an problem after the intial surprise.

But the real motivation for this remark is the great customer service from Amazon. PowerMax gave me the standard, "we only replace the faulty part and you should have called us." No way was I going to freeze my family while I waited for their mail service part delivery. However, when I told this story to Amazon, they offered to totally reimburse me for the cost of the repair, parts and labor, with no hassle.

The generator worked great with long hours of continuous running. And the positive Amazon customer service attitude was the confirmation that I had purchaeed a good generator (after my repair) with superb customer service backup. John Reade, Lancaster, Ohio.

I bought this item from another retailer for $150 less than Amazon. Great price for a 8,000 watt generator. This unit has a 50 amp plug, which is great. Electric start worked perfect. My only complaints are 1) the legs and battery connection are located in a very hard to reach spot. It took me perhaps 1 hour just to attach the legs and the negative battery terminal. Maybe it's just me. And 2) the handles look like they may bend or fail after a while of usage. But aside from those, the generator was packed nicely, no damage whatsoever. All parts intact and no leaks. Started instantly with the electric starter. Runs reasonably quiet, only a bit louder than my 4000 ETQ generator, which is 1/2 the size. I am looking forward to connecting this to the house via a transfer switch. I should be able to run a bit less than 1/2 the house, which will be plenty in the event of an outage.

Edited 12/2010:

I had a transfer switch installed on the house. When I went to test out the generator with the transfer switch, I noticed that the 50 amp receptacle on the generator was broken, and the plug would not connect. I called Duromax customer service (MaxTool), and was told to call another number. This number would always go to voicemail. I left 3 messages, and spoke to another person, and they just told me to leave another message. I never heard back from MaxTool. My feeling is that they knew this would require a replacement of the generator, and just did not want to deal with it. Fortunately for me, the part was only $6.00 at the local home improvement retailer, and I am relatively mechanically/electrically inclined. I dis-assembled the generator and replaced the recpetacle myself (very difficult, and risky). However, if this was a more expensive part, or something I could not fix myself, I would have just wasted $1,000. I have also noticed that the 'recharge' indicator is always lit, which does not make sense. Another faulty component. After I have fixed the receptacle, it seems to be working fine (except for the 'recharge' lamp).

If I had to buy another generator, I would not by a DuroMax. I feel that there is greater than 50% chance of a part being broken upon delivery, and if it's something critical, I don't trust MaxTool customer service to stand behind this product.

We bought this last summer, after being run out of our brand new home with the New England Ice Storms December 2008.

The shipping was AMAZINGthe freight shipper hauled this thing all the way down to our house (we live on a lake), when I expected to meet him up on the main road with my trailer. This beast is HEAVY, make no bones about it, but worth all the hassle of moving it around to assemble it. The packaging is outstanding, with absolutely NO dings or mars on any part of the unit. It even comes with it's own "toolkit" of metric wrenches and multi-screwdriver. It's a cheapie kit, but I've owned motorcycles with junkier kits, so no issue.

I broke in the unit running some different power tools, and tried it out on it's 30-amp connection to power up the AC in our pop-up camper. Absolutely NO issues at all. After an oil change and some "Stabil" in the gas, it was time to wait for the next big "need". We got hit this week with a huge wind storm, which did more damage in my area than the "ice storm of 2008". In total, we've been 5 days without power.

I had the transfer switch set up in early December 0f 2009, so I was cutting it a little close, but when I flipped the whole house transfer switch over, my Wife didn't even notice we had changed power sources. It has it's limitations, but this is what we have:

What it WON'T do:

Electric Stove, Dishwasher, Clothes Dryer. I guess it MIGHT run these, if other loads were minimized, but I wanted more of the "creature" comforts all at once. I was willing to forgo the major power hogs, until the utility power came back on.

What it WILL do:

EVERYTHING else!

Other than having to eat microwave foods, it ran our well pump, fridge, 60 gallon hot water heater, forced air heater, and a humidifier, sometimes at the same time! There will be some small dimming of lights as each of the big loads switch in and out, and the Generator gets a little louder with each heavier load put on, but it ran them all in style! My Wife even snuck in a load of laundry in the washer, and I didn't notice.

At night, where minimal power is used, it quiets down more than any of my neighbor's units, which are all contractor-quality units, with racous "industrial" motors. Having it just outside my bedroom area, I could barely hear it over the air of the forced-air heater when it ran. It ran quieter than my neighbor's unit, 4 houses awayand that had a 16 HP Briggs & Stratton motor. Same size motor, but at least 1/2 (or less) the noise. The ONLY quirk we found is that it seems to be incompatible with digital clocksI know it's SUPPOSED to be a 60-hz unit, but when I scoped the output, it's only putting out about 56 hz. For most any component, it's no big deal. My laptop didn't care a bit about the difference, nor did my TV's or Stereo. It's just the clocks that ran slow. I'm looking into what can be done, if anything, to adjust this, but I don't think it really matters.

I read a comment where someone wasn't happy with fuel consumption, but my experience over these last 5 days have averaged only 5-6 gallons of gas in a 12 hour period, and that was with high nighttime usage, with several baths, and temperatures in the 20's (using the house heater pretty often). I'd fill it up to the top around 8 p.m., and when I re-filled it in the morning around 9 a.m., it would take exactly 5 gallons to top off. Daytime consumption, when it was just me at home sleeping, was like 3 gallons in a 9 hour period.

Maybe different units consume gas at different rates, but I seriously beat the snot out of this thing (in my opinion), and it didn't even quiver. Once I had the house wired up, I just rolled it outside, and after showing once, my Wife and Daughter could start it themselves with NO issues. I may add some swivel-wheels in the front, instead of the "feet" that came with it, as it's a little tough to horse aroundespecially in the mud. On dry land, my wife wouldn't be able to lift the footed end by herself, so I need to do something to make it more "portable" than it already is. Not an issue with the machine, just needing to modify it's ergonomics for our use.

This unit is now $200 more than when I bought it in 2009, but I'd buy it again, for today's pricein a HEARTBEAT. It's STILL the best value out there. I'm going home tonight (power is back on) and rolling it into the garage for a well-deserved bath, oil change and some wax for the shiny finish. This week, it became a member of the family. It just ran for over 120 hours straight, minus fill-ups, and I'm a happy camper.

By the way, this unit comes with every possible electrical connection you could want, as well as the plugs for each. It also has connections (and a nice little wire bundle connector with alligator clips) to charge 12 volt batteries WHILE you're running the rest of the house. This comes in handy, if you are in an all-out "outage", and car batteries become a problem for your household. In brutal winter months, car batteries take a beating too! Last summer I bought a sheet of blue matching neoprene on E-Bay (wet suit material) to make a "rain flap" for the electrical connections, and I'm glad I did. There's a LOT of different electrical connectors hanging out there on the panel, and we got BEAT with sideways, blowing rain. It looks nice, it's cheap, and it keeps things from getting shorted out.

While it's weak in some details (faint, hard-to-read manual, and the fact that its a chinese model) it comes with more features and options than you could ask for, at a very reasonable price.

LG 5 Pin Micro Phones USB charger for Compatible Models

LG 5 Pin Micro Phones USB charger for Compatible ModelsIt recharges my phone and costs 1/3 what they charge in the Verizon store. This is also LG branded. What more can you ask for?

SF Planet does (did) have a charger that specifically calls out the LG Optimus, but since I suspect all 5-pins are the same I wrote SF planet and they said it would work. Since this was less expensive the the other listed charger, I bought it... Here's the review:

I'm very happy with this purchase. It charges my phone perfectly and the size is not a problem at all. I do like the fact it has an LED to show the charger as power. Makes it easy to be sure its plugged in right, as one of our cars the lighter is a bit wonky (this same car's lighter is only on with the ignition, so it's another good reminder).

PS. Then, through an ordering mistake of mine, I also ordered the more expensive Optimus charger and it turned out to be the exact same charger as this one... I was going to return it, but then decided to keep it so we'd have one for both cars (I'm thinking it's going to work with my wife's Droid too).

so far I have had no problems with the charger. my only complaint so far is the length of the cig lighter plug. it is very long. both of my vehicles (05 jeep wrangler, 96 S10) are manual transmissions, when I shift into the top gears (1,3,5) the shifter will bang into the charger.

Easy to use, good design. No complaints. I bought it for my old phone, but it works with my new one. Half my friends use it because the adapter is nearly universal as the Mini-USB.

Tektrum MPPT 15A 12V/24V Solar Panel Charge Controller - 30% Power Boost

Tektrum MPPT 15A 12V/24V Solar Panel Charge Controller - 30% Power BoostWe bought it and tested it through the mppt cycle, don't work and the voltage output was too high (auto detect did not work) and damaged our 12v-based equipments. Bad physical design as well.

I purchased the 15 Amp Tektrum controller as pzrt of my initial set-up for my Lance Camper. The unit is compact and the set-up was very easy. Emphasis in the instructions to connect the battery first. Otherwise damage to the controller can occur. Maybe an issue with low review rating? The description clearly states the the primary charge is PMW and the final charge is MPPT When installed the constant red light means bulk PMW charge and a blinking red light indicates MPPT charge. My voltage at full charge is 13.8 volts. In my opinion is not overcharged at all. I am no expert on electronics but the controller charges my batteries very quickly and efficiently. Overall I am very happy with this product, ease of use and cost. I wouly highly reccomend this product for a "stand alone" inexpensive system. It also leaves room for expansion to my 90W panel.

I bought this because it was MPPT, and none of my others were so I paid more expecting better performance I was hoping for 20-30% better.

I have built 5 separate solar applications over the past couple of years at home, my boat and my cabin, so while Im not a qualified expert, i've been playing with solar for a while and I am not a novice.

I hooked this MPPT controller up to a watt-meter to get a read on watts, amps, battery condition etc while this controller was in use. I then swapped the controller out with 3 cheaper ones (not MPPT)to compare performance. I also tried with 2 batteries to ensure the MPPT controller wasnt just tapering down for a full battery.

What I found was unexpected and disappointing. Using a 15W panel in good sun, I was getting 9W through to the battery on all 3 of my cheaper controllers, but this MPPT controller would only put through about 6W about 30% LESS.

Not being an expert on MPPT, please let me know if somehow this makes sense. But it would seem this controller is less efficient than normal. I cant reconcile my experience of 30% less output, to manufacturer's claims that MPPT controllers give 30% better output???

Also, the controller makes a fast "ticking" noise as it charges which is a bit annoying if there is not much background noise to hide it. My other controllers are silent.

Unless Im missing something here, I seem to get better output from my $10 controller than this one which was six times the cost.

Mixed feelings , after purchase I read that this unit was a fraud and not a real MPPT unit. This was the reason for purchase. It did function as a solar panel power controll , yet now I wonder at what effiency.

BAOFENG UV-5RE+ Plus Dual Band U/V 2-way Radio 136-174 / 400-520 UV5R walkie(2013 the Latest Versio

BAOFENG UV-5RE+ Plus Dual Band U/V 2-way Radio 136-174 / 400-520 UV5R walkie(2013 the Latest Version)
  • Item number:UV-5RE Plus
  • Channel No:128
  • Frequency Range:136-174MHZ and 400-480HZ (TX/RX)65-108MHz(FM Receive only)
  • LED Flashlight
  • Battery Saver

I'm new to Ham radio, but I am impressed with this radio. It transmits and receives clearly and the battery seems to last quite a bit longer that I expected. It's not "feature rich" but for about $50 it's small, light, and gets the job done... and that is exactly what I was looking for.

Goal Zero 14002 Guardian Silver 12V Charge Controller

Goal Zero 14002 Guardian Silver 12V Charge ControllerIf you have any of the Goal Zero Solar Panels you will need this controller to charge any 12 Volt batteries that are NOT built by Goal Zero (per the "NONE-Goal Zero Batteries" in the subject title). The 12 Volt Battery list includes: Home/Business Security backup batteries; Basement Watchdog (sump pump) batteries; AGM Batteries; Flooded batteries, etc.

Note that the maximum input wattage (from the banked Solar Panels) to this charger is really 90 Watts and not the 150 watts that is misprinted on some Goal Zero brochures. This means that, for example, the controller can handle three (3) Goal Zero 22003 Escape 30M Solar Panel Briefcase at one time. My review on the Panel Briefcase (and other Goal Zero products) is found elsewhere on these Amazon pages. (As a side note, Before knowing about the printing error, I have successfully charged batteries using four Briefcase Solar Panels without any problems, but do not recommend doing so for an extended period of time.)

This unit is compact enough and self-contained to include in your Go Bag, too. I recently purchased a second unit. REDUNDANCY is important in critical asset management--except for when it comes to a wife.

Blessings,

....Chappy

Since goal zero batteries have built in charge controllers I use the guardian when I park my camper in the shade, and put my boulder 30 panels in the sun with the 30 foot extension cable and the guardian connected directly to camper batteries

Its goal zero and they always perform. I leave this in my r1 set and just plug it in if I'm not driving it for a long period of time.

This completely new design works great (from late 2013-early 2013), does what I was looking for, in a nice compact, light unit that is reasonable in cost. They even have two input ports so both sizes of connectors from their solar panels work without having to have another adapter. The unit input and output wire connections are very tight and would seem to protect against moisture at the fittings. I use two of the Goal Zero briefcase solar 30w panels to keep my rugged outdoor support TrueNorth trailer's two 12v batts topped up, while camping in remote areas off the grid and away from regular campgrounds. The 4 stars is only due to the fact that I have not tested it over a long camping trip yet. If all works out, I will come back and upgrade to 5 stars.

This is so disappointing because I have given goal zero such praise. Using their products in north and south America for work. This product is deceptive and will not work with my goal zero solar panel or my brunton. They speak of adapters but their ate none. Other than the fact that it's useless to me I like the idea of it and design. Just sucks that I can't use it.
