I bought this doo-dad so I could charge my Plantronics 510 blue tooth earpiece in my car. The added bonus is that with the two USB ports I can now charge my phone and earpiece at the same time. The only real price for that is that this unit is a bit bulky compared to my prvious car-phone charger; it certainly makes for a longer plug. The blue LED light on the unit is a bit bright at night on dark roads out in the sticks, but it really hasn't been much of a problem. USB adapter cables for various devices are dirt cheap so this way you don't have to buy a new car charger every time you change devices. You can also charge Ipods and other similar devices without needing 110V power. I may get a second one for the second vehicle.

I got this to use with some small appliances while I'm studying in Europe. At first this thing was completely silent. After a couple of weeks however, it started to make some noise. If I leave it on too long, or absentmindedly use it as a footrest it gets really REALLY loud.

Also, a helpful warning for anyone using this, there are two outlets on the transformer, one for 120v and the other for 220v. Always make sure you're plugging your appliances into the right one. I did this and almost lost my coffeemaker.

I bought this Transformer almost 4 years ago. It was a piece of junk. I plugged it in and it wouldn't work. I called the company and sent it back to them (paid shipping myself). They later returned it back to me telling me they are sending a new one but they were clearly lieing as I could see that it was the exact same one (from the way I had packed). TERRIBLE customer service. They were very rude in subsequent calls. I gave up after that as I dint want to keep throwing money in shipping back and forth.

I purchased two of these panels about a year ago. They really crank out the power. I have them both wired together into a 12 volt battery system. These panels work flawlessly and are rugged. They will probably still be outside producing power 25 years from now with no worries. These are small 5 watt solar panels that produce power like bigger panels. The mono-crystalline panels are better than the poly-crystalline, since the small mono-crystal panels produce more power than the larger poly-crystal. Example: I have two 20 watt solar panels that are the same size. The "mono" panel produces far more power than the "poly" panel but they are both supposed to be 20 watt solar panels. Therefore I would rather have smaller panels that produce more power than larger panels that produce less. So it appears that the black solar panels produce more power than the pretty blue panels.

Sturdy aluminum frame like larger solar panels makes this one easy to mount. This is a sturdy well made panel that will last decades. Don't be fooled by cheap badly framed alternatives, been there, done that!

This robust panel, just 10-1/4 x 8-1/4 x 3/4 inches, easily runs a 12V 4.5A exhaust fan in my attic, with as much power as if it was coming from a freshly charged car battery. Direct red/red black/black wire connections, no controller required, but you could put one in plus a rechargeable battery if you wanted it to run for a while longer when the sun goes behind clouds.

It has 2 stainless screws at each corner of the frame, so I undid one of each of them (the one furthest away from the screen) and re-used it to attach the frame to a piece of aluminum angle (1 x 1 x 1/16, 8 inches long) on 2 sides, so that the panel is raised 1/4 inch off the surface to which it is attached, and this allows the (combined wire) cable to emerge unpinched. Then I screwed those angle brackets to the roof.

Just be careful with connections and installation. There are no instructions; the panel comes without a temporary screen cover and with the ends of its black and red connecting wires exposed. To avoid frying the unit, it is best to insulate the wire ends so that they do not touch each other, and to temporarily place a piece of ordinary letter-sized paper over the screen with painters masking tape holding it to the frame. This prevents the panel from trying to generate electricity during installation. If that happens, and the black and red exposed wire ends touch, you could damage the panel.

Real neat item. But it is cheap -I hope it lasts. We've been using them for 2 weeks so far with no problems.

Instructions are terrible, but if you have a little tech. common sense, you don't need them.

I bought a Blue one for me and a Plum one for me wife. They are designed differently! My Blue model has a Y-cable dongle for all adaptors, and it also charges. The Plum (purple) model has a flush USB connection, a single cable for adaptors and charging (flip it around and charge with the mini-usb), and had two more adaptor plugs. The Blue one I received seems a little cheaper and does not look the same as pictured. I think I got an older revision -but it works OK.

The light works well on both and they look the same. The blue has a flush lens, and the plum lens is curved in with a bump in the center. Almost as good as my LED maglite, and if this truely is 2600mAh, then it should last just as long.

I'd buy this again.. Good luck, because who knows what type you will get!

** Since the photos for this item have been updated, you can see what I mean. The WHITE end with a hole -this is the for Y-cable dongle and there is a little switch for the flashlight. The BLACK end has the nice, flush USB socket and there is a tiny button for the flashlight. Both work, but I prefer the flush USB socket because I'd rather not carry around another Y-cable.

I think the greatest frustration in shopping for this type of product is verifying a custom fit design. I was lead to believe this was a custom fitted product NOT SO! While this is well made of heavy rubber, it is a generic design that requires trimming to get an OK but not perfect fit.

Poor quality. The cable end that connects to iPhone (silver metal enclosure) is not shaped properly, which I verified by comparing with the OEM cable packaged with my iPhone. Despite all of the negative reviews I ordered this product anyways. Unlike most of the complaints I read, my car & house charger seemed to charge our phones just fine. However, upon pulling my house charger out of the wall to take it with me overnight the prongs simply pulled right out of the charger. They were literally just stuck in there, so we basically got one use out of the chargers until we pulled them out of the wall that first time & the prongs were left behind. Before you buy take note that this does not come with a seat, if you want a seat it will cost you another $40. I had bought this simply because for the seat and price. But when it was delivered to my house there was no seat, and some vital screws were missing. After emailing this seller they made me aware that of course there is a seat..at an extra $40 and another week or two for delivery but they had said nothing about the screws and nuts missing from the tire and brakes, so luckily I have a fully running 45cc GroundHog (Tops off at 42MPH) from 2002 and managed to use extra parts from it.

The XG-550 is at the top of their line which isn't much to be said. I followed the manual for set-up and use instructions before going on a ride. At 1/4th throttle the engine makes noise but goes no where, at 1/2 throttle it makes more noise and you might get a couple MPH if your light enough but at full throttle I got a whole 10MPH I will continue breaking this in but more than likely it will be used to scare cats away in the neighborhood.

I've been using this for a few months now off and on, and so far, the welds holding the frame together broke while going down the street. The Frame broke in half. The bolts mounting the parts to the frame, the gas tank, brakes, chrome trim, twist hand throttle, deck, and exhaust have either just fallen off, flew off, or broke. Honestly I must say this is the worst purchase of my life.

Every day or two I would make sure everything was tightened down due to all the pieces falling off the Ped, and onto the neighbors' yard, but they still found away to fall. Also the bolts, screws, and metal they use for this are weak, and have a habit to break on there own. It should be a crime to sell a product that rapidly falls apart while riding, and for the price, you can buy a used one, and a can of WD-40, and you have have a better product. \

I've had a 2002 Blue Bird Engine 45cc (Stock GroundHog) for 9years, still running strong, nothing has broken off, and it cost me half the price I paid for this inferior product by " X-Treme Scooters)I Would absolutley not reccomend this for children due to the spotty "craftsmanship"

I purchased the X-Treme XG-550 scooter as a x-mas gift for my son. I have to agree with the other review that this is a very cheaply made product. Their website hypes it up as the best scooter out on the market and a good quality scooter. Take my advise and do not purchase this scooter. I have always taken very good care of it. We have only used this scooter for maybe two hours and it is falling apart. The rear break fell apart. The carburator cover fell off. We don't even know when or where it fell off, it was just missing after my son rode it to his friends house. The frame has bent which is crazy as they say it is basically indestructable. I am going to order replacement parts and put it back together and sell it. This was the biggest waste of money and the biggest piece of junk that I have ever purchased.

when i got it the frames had scrathes all over the body...when i hit a few bumps( nothing big ) the screws popped out of the plate that you stand on. this gas scooter is lots of fun for me i got it as a birthday gift and is lots of fun putting it together was not to bad but i did have to use my own tools because the tools it came with would not cut the job. the gas cam came un done and i tried very hard to get it back into place but only one screw would stay the electric start works every time but does have a pull star just in case. when you first start it make sure to let it idle and worm up before you go or else it will just make lots of noise. but all in all it is a good scooter

This case seems to have been the best purchase for my 3490. the screen feels very well protected it's a stiff outer with a soft interior and the body actually curves away from the screen so I'm not worried about it getting scratched. There's a flap inside that can separate the Garmin from the charger, though I don't use it I like having just the Garmin in it.

My dad got us started on these heavy duty mats, and now at least six members of my family use them. We are a very outdoorsy bunch. Almost all of us hunt or backpack, so we need a good quality mat to help save the interior of our vehicles from muddy boots and gear. The Huskey heavy duty mats are the best we've found anywhere. They are a durable, great quality, and easy to clean mat that I would highly recommend.

It wasn't custom, and it seems to be unidirectional, which is a problem because to fit it to particular car models one would have to turn it around so the cut mat would fit.

Too bad I only noticed this after the cut.

The quality was also not too impressive, husky not being all that husky... perhaps I should have gotten the ones sold at discount chains like Target, costing about 1/3, and just a bit thinner.

The camera works well and takes great 1080P HD movies in the daytime but night performance is quite poor, not as good as some other less expensive cameras. The video is dark and everything looks brown and fuzzy at night so it's best to use this model just in the daytime. Also it's a sports cam not a car DVR. Although it can be used in a car it won't come on and start recording automatically. It also has a few other issues. Due to being waterproof there is a heavy rubber cover over the buttons that makes them hard to press. Also the mic, which is inside the case, doesn't pick up much sound unless the back cover is open but with it open you get a lot of rattling noise. The mounting hardware also has issues. The angle bracket and the suction cup mount connect with 4 small prongs but they have a bump on them that prevents sliding into the holes they are supposed to go into. I had to file them off a bit before they would go together. The suction cup is large and has a sticky surface that stays on when it's attached but the prong that the camera sits on is small and lets the camera vibrate and bounce around all the time. Also the knob that is turned to attach the suction cup has a big detent it drops into when it's turned all the way on but then it won't easily come undone to remove it. I purchased different mounting hardware on ebay to use instead of the supplied one, a different suction cup with a metal camera mount attached to it that doesn't vibrate. In addition the mounting plate on the bottom of the camera is attached with 8 small screws that go into little plastic pins and 3 of them are starting to break already so it will probably have to be glued on with epoxy eventually.

I always have a car charger with the coil and from all of the pulling and stretching it seams to get a short so i have to buy another one, so i saw this and thought I will give it a shot.
