I ordered this for my son who had lost his charger. I thought it was a good deal, however, the wall charger didn't work!!! Just in case it was the battery, I tried the car charger and it works fine (no complaints there) but the wall charger does NOTHING.

Overall the things work, but the charger cable is too short. I literally have to place the tablet on the floor, close to the mains to charge it.

ARCHOS need to upgrade their little tablets !

But ARCHOS is the only one that have several different screen size since the beginning !

Archos includes a code that is supposed to allow one to download the necessary plug-in without charge, otherwise the plug-in costs ~$40.00. The code that was included with the device was corrupted so I was unable to download the plug-in as advertised. I contacted the company(Arcos) and was provided a different code that I attempted to use, it too was corrupted. I again contacted the company and the person assisting me tried to input three codes, while on the phone, to ensure that I would recieve a valid operating code, all three failed with the same "corrupted code" message. I was then told that a manager had already spoken to the French Headquarters and assured that a code would be forthcoming. That was four weeks ago. If one is looking to use this device as a DVR or wishes to be able to record video this is NOT the product for you. This experience also illustrates the poor customer service that was recieved. Beware!!!

Many USB-charged products today (like the new Kindles) come with a cable but without a wall to USB plug. While these products can be charged from a computer, a wall plug is a major convenience especially when traveling without a computer.

Some of the plugs available on amazon and other outlets are quite expensive, get dismal reviews, are very large or even all of the above.

The Anker charger seems to offer the best combination of attractive price, quality and size (exactly the same size as the plug that came with our Iphone 4).

Unadvertised feature: It also has enough power to charge an IPad (with some plugs, Ipad shows "not charging").

Recommended.

What can I say? It charges my iPod touch! I have the 4th generation iPod touch, and I've actually noticed increased battery life after using this charger. Previously, I was using a Belkin wall outlet which had the two USB ports on it. I guess the Belkin wasn't really doing a good job.

At first I was a little skeptical since this unit was only $6. However, it charges just like the Apple charges that sell for much more.

I bought this charger for a Anker Astro3E external battery but it does not work with it. I didnt read the description good enough to see this was a 1A charger and the input on the battery is 1.5A.

It works fine for my camera so i just switched chargers.

This works great, connecting the wall socket to USB power cords.

I do wish that the prongs were protected when not in use, though, by either folding up or by being covered. I keep all of my chargers in a small bag when I travel and I am afraid that the prongs are going to end up bent. I'm likely worrying for naught, but it would make it feel more complete & well designed.

My husband and I bought this charger in August of this year. We have a R71 Ranger boat and needed something that would charge 4 batteries (two of the batteries are in tandem for a 24 volt trolling motor). We had been using two separate Cabela's brand chargers made by ProMariner. The Cabela's units did not last long at all so we decided to research other brands. This one stood out from all the rest. The big plus for us is that this unit is made in U.S.A. Even though it was more expensive than other brands we decided to try it. So far we have not been disappointed. Our first impression upon opening the box was that this unit was of quality construction. The cables were very thick unlike the battery chargers we had used in the past. The unit is also quite heavy. The charger was bigger than we ones we had before, but since we only had one unit to install instead of two it fit into our boat quite nicely. The readouts are very easy to see. So far we have not had any issues with it and are very pleased with the construction and performance of this charger. One unexpexted feature that we found really helpful is the unit comes with a cord keeper for the charger cord. Once installed the charger cord clips into the holder which keeps it out of the way. It's nice not having to dig around for the charger plug, plus the plug now stays clean and dry since it doesn't fall down into the battery compartment. We would highly recommend the Dual Pro Sportsman Charger.

I bought one of these because i needed to charge 6v and 12v batteries. It has served me well. I can say on the downside that i'm not sure if it's good as a battery maintainer. It charges the 12v batteries to 14.7v before it reads full with the green light and keeps them at that voltage... i didn't think these sla batteries were supposed to go that high in voltage but it doesn't seem to have damaged the battery in any way and it does take a while to charge... for being 500 mah i figure if i have a 7ah battery to expect it to take 14 hours from dead to full, it takes about 8 to 10. I noticed with my multimeter in the off position it still produces about 2.5 volts... not sure why. It does a better job with 6 volt batteries than 12 volt, again, not sure why... but it eventually reaches full on each. I am pleased with the product and have ordered a second since i have a few batteries i'd like to keep full and am happy with the charger.

This was bigger than I expected, but is a wonderfully sturdy appliance and seems to charge the batteries quickly! I'd recommend it, particularly as new cameras consume batteries at such a rate. I'm about to invest in the rechargable C and Ds as well, since every hurricane season (Caribbean) we have to buy new batteries for flashlights, radios, etc, which end up dying before we even get to use them. switch. You just have to decode the instructions written for RVs and boats into this sump pump application.

I was skeptical buying this item but upon receipt I was pleasantly surprised. This is nice well finished compact yet effective item. Poor quality. The cable end that connects to iPhone (silver metal enclosure) is not shaped properly, which I verified by comparing with the OEM cable packaged with my iPhone. I was unable to push the cable into the iPhone completely. I had to pull very hard to remove. However, this resulted in the silver metal piece bending, which just proves that the connector is improperly shaped.

Despite all of the negative reviews I ordered this product anyways. Unlike most of the complaints I read, my car & house charger seemed to charge our phones just fine. However, upon pulling my house charger out of the wall to take it with me overnight the prongs simply pulled right out of the charger. They were literally just stuck in there, so we basically got one use out of the chargers until we pulled them out of the wall that first time & the prongs were left behind. Would not recommend this charger to anyone.

I have the iPhone 4 and I can charge my phone no problem with this charger. However, forget about using your phone while it is charging. The charger screws up the touch screen and pushes wherever it likes. You can NOT use your phone while charging it. Terrible purchase!

Developed a short in the cord after the most minimal use. Was able to move it around to get it to work for a while, but eventually it stopped working no matter what I did. I guess you get what you pay for.

I had worn out my previous car charger and needed a replacement. I looked around and being on a budget I couldnt bring myself to spending 30+ dollars at ATT. This product does as what its suppose to. It plugs in and charges my phone. I bought this for a Galaxy Note and it works great being that most Android phones use the same USB. Im extremelty happy with this product. I received it in less than one week, which is great considering it was during the holiday season!!!

Used this to connect the high-pressure receptacle on my pop-up camper to my Coleman LXE Grill. This is the type of grill that normally uses the small 1 lb propane canisters. Essentially it runs from the camper to the regulator on the grill. Good flame adjustment and easy to light once the line pressurizes (might take a few seconds for the gas to actually reach the burners when first hooking it up).

Works as expected. Might get a slightly longer hose if/when I need to replace this one.

one issue...if phone in direct sunlight...dock and phone get very hot.

Another issue...if using Samsung cover it barely fits in the dock.

The base and suction cup are great quality and attaches nicely. I was looking for a mount for a Galaxy Note 2 and this one came up and appeared to fit the bill. When I got it mounted, the Note 2 didn't fit well. You have to angle it just right in order for it to charge properly. I have already gotten rid of the packaging so can't send it back and had to buy another one. I don't know if it is designed for the Note 1 and the changes were just subtle enough to make the mount not suited for the Note 2. Shame on me for not keeping the packaging, but a little disappointed that the description was misleading.

The good:

1. The sliding micro USB connector connects and disconnects from the device very easily.

2. Many apps have functionality that is only activated when dock connector is engaged (eg. Spotify actually switches to landscape orientation).

3. The phone fits the mount perfectly, and looks nice mounted on the dash.

The bad:

1. There is very annoying interference from the car engine when using the audio out from the dock. I tried two chargers (including the official Samsung car adapter), and two audio cables, thinking it may be a grounding issue, but the interference remains. My Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth hands-free/charger has no interference at all, so I have to suspect this dock is at fault.

2. The package did NOT include the mounting plate that was advertised.

3. The suction cup doesn't adhere to any surface (including the glass) for longer than 15 minutes without falling off. The mounting plate would probably solve this had it been included. I was uncomfortable leaving my phone in the unit for fear it would take fall damage, until I worked around it by milling two channels through the base with a Dremel tool, and driving two bolts directly through it and into my dash, mounting it very securely.

4. The dock angles up and out at a steep angle, and the plastic isn't rigid enough to support the weight of the phone, causing it to shake a great deal while driving. The phone fits so tightly that it's in no danger of falling out, but the rattling noises caused by this are extremely annoying. I fashioned a kick-stand out of a small aluminum rod to solve this, but a product should not require this many workarounds.

Other thoughts:

I can't fault Samsung for their precision engineering on this, but this dock is incompatible with every case I have, including the 0.2mm ultra-thin case I purchased hoping it would fit. If you feel a case is a necessity to protect your camera lens, look for a different dock.

These radios are great. And the size is awesome for camping,and hiking. The quality is great they have a military feel to them. I wish my radio in Iraq was this compact, and durable.

Our 11 year-old grandson wanted walkie talkies for Xmas, and since his dad takes him out in the woods for camping and general roaming around, they would also be very useful for keeping in touch when out of sight. I researched various models available on Amazon, and while my son wanted something with some color on it (in case it gets dropped in the woods and he has to search for it), I thought these had the best combination of price and performance. BTW, I ordered them on Friday before Xmas, and they showed up (with std shipping, no less) on Monday morning, Xmas Eve -can't beat that! My son and grandson went into full testing mode immediately after unwrapping these on Xmas morning, and they haven't stopped all week. They tell me that the sound clarity is great, the range seems to be good (haven't tested to find the max range yet, but they will), and the feel of the case and controls is just right for them. As for color, my wife decided that $1 worth of red reflective tape from a local bargain store would do just fine when wrapped around the lower part of the case. Well 1st off both radios showed up in (plain brown boxes) No serial #'s or model #'s to be found anywhere !!!!!!!

How in the world is anybody suppose to fill out any warranty information without the basics ?? REALLY ??

and last the cheap (inclosed) instruction manual is useless !!!!!! Other than that the radios seem to be working ok its kinda of irritating to turn on the radios and have that voice there all the time.

Oh yea and by the way i have yet to find a phone number to call anybody to ask questions............................................
