Panel was received and appears to be as promised. My biggest concern is lifespan/warranty. Is it worth saving $60 (delivered price)with an unknown warranty, or better to spend the extra money on a good Kyocera panel with a 20 year warranty? Stay tuned updates will follow in 6 months or if the panel fails.

Update Instapark raised their price since my purchase, and the price on Kyocera panels has come down. Considering there is no warranty information provided from Instapark (supposedly there is a two year warranty but how do you return and how comprehensive is it?), and the lack of history of the company, I cannot recommend this product. This is true especially since you can buy a known brand, made in the US, with an extensive warranty and good service record for almost the same price.

The product itself appears to be operating just fine so far, but where is the support if you need it?

Update after 6 mos: The unit performed well over the summer. No signs of damage from the salt water. So I upgraded my rating to 4 stars. However, doing it over again I still would by a Kyocera panel for the piece of mind that a good warranty would give me and to buy a comparably priced American product.

I have bought a half dozen of these panels over the past eight months. The quality seems to be as good as most other panels I have looked at and the price is fair. What impressed me was how well they work. They easily put out the rated power on sunny days and even on cloudy days they still work reasonably well. I am using them as an off grid backup power supply. I want to end this project with a total of twelve panels before the end of the year. The only thing that concerned me was the lack any mention of a warranty. Still, I would recommend these panels. They are working great for me.

I added this panel to my existing system which consists of a hydro-turbine(makes the majority of our power 24 hrs a day, 364 days a year -one down for a rebuild), generators, 6 KW Trace, & everything else.

So far after a handful of days of use, I am relatively pleased. Around the 46th parallel in the full sun of early September, I'm getting as much as 85 watts/panel before a miniscule amount of line loss.

As I've stated in their feedback, these guys seem to have great customer service. Before the product arrived I had a concern that they addressed almost immediately.

I ordered three of these Instapark 130 Watt panels to supply power to a trailer because 120 VAC is only available using a generator. So far, I have only connected one panel to a SunSaver solar controller just to keep the (old crummy 12V) trailer battery charged. I will wait until warmer weather to connect the other two panels and get two new 6V deep cycle batteries and a true-sine inverter at that time. I have tested all three panels and the two I haven't used yet tested okay on my volt meter, so I think they are okay. According to my solar controller readout, I was cranking over 9 amps out of the one panel at a little over 14 volts. I was getting the full 130 Watts out of this panel on a sunny day! That's great! I read about another brand of panel rated at 100 W that people were only able to get about 80 W out of. I am very pleased that this panel, rated at 130 W, was able to produce the full 130 W at a voltage that could charge the battery and/or run 12V equipment. I think these panels are excellent values and would definitely buy more from Instapark.

ThinkPad Battery 17+ (6 Cell - X100e, X120e)

I've been watching the performance of this battery since I purchased it to replace the OEM battery in a Lenovo X100e Thinkpad (which is a great little device). It holds a charge, but does not seem to last as long as the one that first came with the laptop. I have no scientific proof, but it's my observation. It was a little scratched up, too, further feeding my conspiracy theory that it was not exactly new. Hmmm....

Disappointed with this new battery; the original battery with this IBM Netbook had +/6 hours of work time, which has lessened over time to about 90 mins. This new battery gives a little over 2 hours, not enough improvement to have spent the money.

I believe I mistaken wrote a review for a different battery (Toshiba, which didn't fit), not the Thinkpad battery sold by this merchant The Thinkpad battery works great. Extends the charge to at least double that of the original battery by 2 to 3 hours. Well worth the money for someone who does not want to be plugged in all the time.

Like other customers, I experience a stalled charger, exhibiting an F05 error, which means the battery is bad. However . . . there's nothing wrong with this new battery. The problem is the charger. It works fine for a day or two, then gets stuck with an F05 error. People not keeping an eye on the chargers will find themselves with a dead battery at the end of winter. Only way it works is to 1) unplug it, then plug it back in so it starts over, or 2) return it for a different brand that actually works. I'm going with #2.

The quick connect works well but the clips don't open wide enough to go over the battery clamps. They'll open wide enuff for the battery terminals, but not if you're all connected to the vehicle. With some jimming, they'll hang on. You can add a side terminal to the battery terminals but that adds to the overall cost of the set-up.

Also, make sure your quick connect ends are the right ones. There are two types, black ends or white ends. Match the color for proper fit.

This little battery pack just isn't worth the trouble. It is certainly small, and maybe if you need just a little boost to your battery it might work for you, but I am getting no where near the stated time, or amount of charge. So from a auxiliary battery point of view, it doesn't cut it. Secondly, because it's a little heavy (certainly heavier than Apple engineers envisioned anything that hangs off the dock connector being) it really wiggles around, does not stay put, and on top of that also loosens up the dock connector itself.

I bought this charger couple days ago and I must say I love it. Let me first say that the main feature is the size this charger is very small and requires no additional cables for charging the iPhone and thus is very portable. If you are somebody why needs to add additional battery power every day then don't buy this, but if you are like me and you need extra power once a long while because u flying or staying in friend's house overnight, then this is great product.

I was able to charge iPhone 3GS with 20% battery power left back to 80% in 1 hour and to 95% in less than 2 hours. If you turn the iPhone off (if u flying for example) and then start charging it, you might get even faster charging time.

There are few gotchas you should be aware of.

1. if you use a case with your iPhone, the charger might not work. I was lucky and the charger fits and works with mine, but it's not really securely attached. I have to remove the case if I want really good grip. This is of course not an issue of the charger and I really don't care that much simply because I don't use this charger every single day.

2. The cable which charges the charger is USB-to-MINIUSB has issues first it's only charging cable and not datacable (no idea why) and thus you cannot use for other things (I hate to carry 20 different cables when I travel). The second I really don't get why this cable exists in the first place. Why the charge cannot use existing iPhone charging cable instead or at least have an option to use either miniusb or iphone cables?

I think this is a great small battery pack for the iPhone. Charges via USB with a mini USB part that goes into the battery pack (you can plug this into the wall if you have a USB charger to AC charger). Small and easy to travel with for those who are on the go. I also have a Casemate Fuel which charges similaly but is a battery and holster. The Casemate is lighter and works well but I got this as times I do not want to have a holster. With both, I would not have to charge the iPhone for a long day or two. Got this at BestBuy for $20, on sale. The Casemate Fuel cost me about $59 a year ago. It is not a one-piece design like the Kensington, but because of that, it is more flexible (It's a general purpose portable/AC 2-port USB charger) and will allow me to continue my Skype session without interruption. In other words, I can CHARGE my iPod Touch and USE my headphone/microphone at the same time. Not only that, there is no issue with having to remove iPod Touch's protective case if you have one, or having to maintain a certain angled contact between the battery and the iPod for positive charging to take place. For me, this is a much better and more practical solution to extending the use of my iPod Touch. And it is also cheaper than the Kensington, plus you will most likely be able to use this battery on future versions of iPod and things that rely on USB power. I highly recommend it (Music Power 0900-72 Encore).

Just search "Battery USB Emergency Charger for iPhone iPod" on Ebay, and you will find a portable USB battery charger for less than $4 post paid. It uses two AA rechargeable batteries (not included) and includes a flash light function. It doesn't last as long as Music Power, but then you won't have to buy a proprietary battery.

I have had several inverters over the years, and the Samlex PST150S -12A 1500 Watt DC/AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter takes the cake. Not only was it economical for a 1500W pure sinewave inverter, but I have used it heavily every day for a year (It hasn't been turned off at all in fact) using 15A powertools, charging everything I can get my hands on, 52" Sony TV with subwoofer and surround sound, Nintendo Wi, large refridgerator and freezer for several hours a day, 1500W oil filled space heater, lights, 2 laptops, toaster, 1400W microwave, blender etc. In fact I am writing this review using solar power via the Samlex inverter.

Important to know-

*The inverter fan is quite noisy, but I went my first 2 months never hearing it. It seems to only kick-in when you run a product that consumes more than 600W for more than 30 minutes, even then its intermittent.

*The positive and negative connection points from the battery are smaller than I would expect. They appear to support up to a 2 AWG wire, but not bigger than that. This shouldn't be a problem however since 2 AWG should be big enough for the maximum amperage this product can supply without turning off.

*Some "Pure-Sine" inverters produce a buzzing noise or interference when used with certain products with tv or radio signals, interfere with cell phone signals, or cause brushed tools to run "funny" this one doesn't. In my opinion, it is the purest power you can get, probably better than the electrical grid supplies.

I would recommend this inverter to my friends and family (And have several times)

I have now had this unit for 3 years and it is still going strong. Still no problems, no signs of weakness, and unless its abused I can't see this ever refusing to do what you ask it to do. The list of things I have now used this for are endless. In conjunction with my 410w of solar and 4 deep cycle batteries it has done everything from provide power to my daily uses like run my laptop and tv, to run my coffee maker and everything else during 2 day power outages.

In short, I have asked this 1500W inverter to do more than most people would ask it to do over the past 3 years and it has yet to fail me or show any signs of weakness. It still produces clean, reliable power... All at what still appears to be quite a bit cheaper than the competitors... I had never heard of Samlex prior to this purchase and due to my experience with this unit, they have my product loyalty which is a hard thing to achieve.

E-Z Red S101 Battery Hydrometer

Easy to use and quickly shows which battery (and which cells) are good, fair or poor. I have two old golf carts that have questionable batteries, and its always been difficult to determine which battery to replace (other than by age), and when I did this I quickly found the bad battery in each cart, and when replaced greatly improved the charging and charge holding capacity of each GC. For the price, you can't beat it.

Spend the couple of extra dollars on this. The wide range of movement on the dial makes it easier to see small differences between individual cells in a battery. It dosn't say so on the web-site, but on the box it states that it self compensating for tempurature.

Short of a laboratory grade instrument, this hydrometer gets the job done. I use it to monitor my solar power system battery bank, so it's important that it gives accurate and repeatable measurements. The built-in temperature compensation is a help no need to use cumbersome and confusing compensation charts. My only (small) complaint is that you need to be sure that the device is level when filled with battery acid or the reading will be off a bit. If you pay attention to this detail you'll be fine.

Overall, this tool will do a good job of letting you know whether any of your cells are bad. If that's all you need to know, then it's is a fine product.

I found, however, that the readings are not consistent enough to provide accurate measurements. Test after test usually ranges plus or minus a graduation (about .025 each).

Previously, I had a complaint that it was difficult to tell if the proper amount of fluid was being used because the meniscus (curvature of the liquid) didn't match with the fill-to line, but was informed that standard practice is to read at the bottom of the meniscus. I may have known that at some point, but certainly forgot about it. So, it turns out I've been using a number of devices incorrectly, but unfortunately with this one the readings are still inconsistent. Regardless, I've found this item to be useful enough that I'll give it a star boost.

I couldn't be much happier with this unit. Where it really shines is in battery life. I've used this in various 4x4 competitions and my teammates use some much larger, clunky handhelds that require 10 batteries and eat them up quick (several sets in a weekend). I use 6 nicads in my midland unit and they last and last.

Its a pretty decent mobile unit too with the adapter. With an external antenna the range is tremendously improved. My only real complaint is that I wish that there was a way to lock the backlighting on when using the car adapter this would make it easier to use at night.

The fact that this radio can be a handheld or a mobile radio and that it comes with a 12-volt cigarette lighter plug, a PL-259 external antenna connector, a portable antenna, a battery box for using six "AA' batteries, and an AC adapter made the system very versatile. The NOAA weather band capabilities only added to this versatility My only complaint is that the radio could use more volume output as it is sometimes hard to hear when used in a vehicle.

I purchased this CB radio at a local electronics store for $. It comes with an adapter to plug into your vehicle. The adapter also has a hookup for an external antenna. You can use the unit as a hand held with the battery packs. The radio comes with two battery holders. One for disposable batteries, another for rechargeable. The rechargeable battery holder has an AC adapter included. It comes with a steel belt clip. Though, be careful it can easily scratch your belt.

The radio isn't very loud, even with the sound at max level. The only time I have any issues hearing it is when I have a window cracked. It does come with a jack for headphones or an external speaker. This Midland model also does not have an ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter), and does receive interference from time to time.

The range is to be expected for a hand held radio. Using it with the rubber antenna inside of your vehicle you can expect 1/4 3/4 mile range depending on the time of day and terrain. You get better range outside of your vehicle. Excellent for use on ATVs. If you plan to use this radio in your vehicle, it would be wise to purchase an antenna. Rechargeable & alkaline cell battery cases, plus cigar lighter power cable with an external antenna adapter are included (Type BNC & SO239/PL259 HF antenna connector) They really thought of almost everything in this package. The one drawback I found was the build was cheap. One of the screws came from the factory cross threaded into the bottom of the unit. The screw was crooked and caused difficulty, impairing the battery pack's ability to slide on and off the radio. There was evidence that the internal wires were pinched causing case/frame misalignment during assembly and when examined the internal frame was slightly bent. As a result someone had forced the screw into the slot and stripped all of the threads on both surfaces. The radio is still usable after clearing the pinched wires except the threads are damaged and the screw may come loose (only use & time will tell). I don't think I should have to repair a radio's defects brand new from the factory, and I feel it's just another example of the cheap, inferior quality of Chinese gear pouring across borders everywhere. Also want to state two (2) radios were purchased. Be aware when you purchase an inferior Chinese product, you might be stuck with the Status Quo. Amateur radio & GMRS/FRS gear is slightly more expensive in most cases but, in this case would have been a better purchase as it is engineered to higher quality standards. Decided to purchase two Yaesu HT's to replace them. These Midland radios are still as new in their boxes sitting on the shelf. They will likely play an emergency backup role to the new Yaesu radios. Caveat Emptor! (Let the Buyer Beware)

The Midland 75-822 would have received 5 stars had they both been 100%. However, sometimes Chinese gear is sub standard so, in this case it receives 3 stars (because it's just ok under the circumstances). IF there is any change I will update this review appropriately.

I hope this saves somebody a headache (check the build very carefully prior to posting your review). I hope Midland and Amazon are listening.

I purchased this item to use on trail runs that I do with other 4X4 owners. When standing outside the vehicle and using the hand held setup I got a range of about a mile and a half. The primary way that I use this radio is with a 3' FireStik mounted to a cross member on my roof rack. This set up puts the antenna right in the middle of the roof of my SUV and makes for a great ground plane. I then run 18' of coax along the roof rack, through the rear window and under the floor mats to the front of the cabin. I check the antenna tuning each time I set it up and I get over 5 miles range in mountainous terrain and over 10 miles in open country.

I like this radio because it fits my needs. I want to be able to take it down when I am not on the trails or traveling in remote areas, but I want it to be quick and easy to set up when I do want to use it. I am sure I can get better features and longer range with a permanent setup and a "big box" radio, but I am completely satisfied with this product. It is versatile and easy to use once you familiarize yourself with the controls and their locations.

I just bought this radio not to long ago... I am VERY happy with it! It has features that the more expensive Motorola TalkAbout FR60 does not have, such as a lock (so if you have it in your pocket and a button is pressed mistakenly, nothing will happen!),LCD backlit display,a bendable antenna, and belt clips (you would have to pay EVEN MORE for this on the FR60)! It has excellent clarity, easy to use buttons, a Call button, 14 channels, 38 subcodes (so other people cannot annoy your conversation!), and much more! The only thing I would like on this Cobra is that it would have better clarity with people in a longer distance (about a mile and a half, you cannot hear at all, depending on the surroundins). I definitely reccomend this Cobra radio! If you are about to buy the Motorola FR60, drop your credit card and turn to the Cobra FRS 220 2-way radio!

When I got this radio, it was more that i could hope for. I use these radios for everything. They are great for fairs and amusment parks, to keep in touch if members of your party go seperate ways.

I just got these walkie talkies for the holidays. As soon as I opened the battery back thing, it broke off. But, otherwise its great for just talking to people. It has great radio reception and is loud and clear.

Well worth the money...

Still going great after 13 years. The battery's finally gave out 2 years ago I think, along with the charger but oh well. The triple A option still works.

I am a little surprised that this works but it does! My 1990 Jeep Cherokee sits 98% of the time in my driveway but so long as I use this charger it starts right up. It attaches with clamps directly to the battery or plugs into your cigarette lighter. It does not seem like 1.5 volts would be enough but it is...at least it works for me.

I used these chargers in three vehicles of elderly relatives that rarely get driven. So far they have kept the batteries charged up so that when they DO get driven they crank up every time.

both items came in a single package. They were pretty simple to install, and work very well. I was concerned with Harley vibration that the mount would be insufficient to hold the garmin, but there is no problem there.

my first mount broke, and i was proptly sent a second one. the second one works great, and I did not need to send the defective one back, therefor saving the hassle and money of sending it back.

I bought this combo of three types of chargers for my HTC myTouch 3G slide! They work perfectly, everything was fine. but the charger that goes in the car stop working. I don't know what happened, just stop working one day! it doesn't charge my phone anymore. So, i had to buy another one! but after that, the rest worked and still work perfectly.

I was excited to get this package at such a great cost. I usually plug my phone in all of the time. I'm pretty much on it all of the time. This package will charge your phone. If you are on your phone, it will not work properly while charging. The touch screen is all messed up; buttons press and don't press on their own. I think it is a voltage issue. This happened first with the wall charger. I thought it might just be a bad charger. I wrote the seller and they sent me another one pretty quick! I was impressed. However, I spoke of the problem and they just sent me another crap wall charger. It worked long enough for me to reply with a thank you to the seller, then I gave up. The car charger may work as far as I know, I think I only used it once. After this happened twice with the wall charger I didn't want to chance this item messing up my phone. The usb cable worked for about two weeks, then died. I am displeased. Waste of money and time. I just went with another product. Don't recommend.

Very cheaply made...the ends break off of them. They also have a slow charge to them. Not worth purchaseing. Save your money!
