Vot® 750W Power Inverter

Vot® 750W Power InverterThe beauty of this inverter is that it powers 2 to 3 electronic items at once and attaches to a car battery without using a car lighter. I have owned mine for 9 months to a year, loved it, and bought another. I use it for emergency power in my car, and for temporary power outages in the house (we have them every 3 weeks or so). I use a spare car battery to power it. This inverter can power a laptop or computer and monitor, or the tv and satellite power (and a lamp). It has two outlets and a usb to plug into.

Compared to an inverter that plugs into your cigarette lighter 150 watts or 400 watts, there is 750 watts of power available with this power inverter. If the car battery powering this inverter is low on juice, a fault light comes on and you need to recharge the battery. However this could be hard wired into your vehicle and placed under the drivers seat, then you would never run out of energy while using it.

This inverter is not designed to power a standard microwave or refrigerator. It might power a 600 watt microwave or small refrigerator, but I would not trust it. It is for the cost conscious that needs emergency electricity for a light, fan and tv or computer on for short amounts of time maybe 4 hours or so. Or for multiple small electronics being powered driving down the road.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Front and Second Seat Floor Liner Set for Select Dodge Challenger Models (B

Husky Liners Custom Fit Front and Second Seat Floor Liner Set for Select Dodge Challenger ModelsBought these along with trunk liner. Have been a faithful WeatherTech customer for all my SUVs but I figured for the price, I can get the first and second row along with the trunk liner for less than just the WT floor mats. Have only had them in the car for about a month but they have worked great so far and they fit very well.

These are awesome, complete set of 4 husky liners for my 2010 Challenger. We had tons of snow this winter and these were perfect, caught all the snow, mud dirt etc. I had the original carpeted mats and they were getting filthy, these caught everything and easy to clean too, just wipe them off. Great price through Amazon.

Exact fit for all four positions on my Challenger, and very good coverage as well. Thinner than I expected, so I don't know how they will hold up over time.

What I was looking for, something to trap the mess with out running on to the carpet.. Great fit and they held up well through the 1st winter.

The fit was great in my car. I love how it holds in the water, salt, and dirt. But then it's a quick wash when cleaning them. I like the way it has an extra lip where your left foot rests on the side. I would order this again as well!!

Scosche motorMOUTH Plug and Play Bluetooth Handsfree and Streaming Audio Car Kit

Scosche motorMOUTH Plug and Play Bluetooth Handsfree and Streaming Audio Car KitI have a Droid X and I was getting tired of plugging my audio jack cable into the phone and the receiver on a daily basis. I bought this so I can just plug it into my head unit, then stream audio over the bluetooth connection. This part works well and haven't had any issues with it.

The microphone thing, eh, not so good. When talking on it, I hear that people tell me that it sounds like I'm going through a wind tunnel. Maybe it's where the microphone is positioned, or maybe it's just the product. I thought the noise cancelling part of this device (dsp?) would fix the wind noises. Guess not.

The other thing is that it is true that you have to charge this before you use it. I have it wired into my car so that it's constantly charging. I always have it plugged in, so I never have to worry about it. Before being able to use it, I have to turn it on by hitting the button. My complaint here is that it would be nice to have it automatically turn on when it receives power. Then, have it automatically turn off when the power source is removed.

I originally bought it to stream audio to the head unit over bluetooth. Does it do it? Yes, and it does it well. The other things, I'm not so sure about, but it's not a huge issue for me.

I bought this to replace the usual in-car cable which I was using to pipe podcats, audiobooks and music from my Iphone to the dash stereo through the latter's AUX input. I didn't really care about the calls aspect, since I never make or answer calls while I'm driving ("Dude, I'm busy *driving*, OK? If it's that important, leave a frakkin' message!")

This unit *should* work for my purpose: It pairs easily, stays paired, and streams consistently, with no fuzz or breakups. The audio *quality* is comparable to the cable. Only problem: I have to crank up the in-dash unit's volume setting to the max just to hear the stream at a normal volume! I don't have anything like this problem with the cable. Using the cable, I can put the volume at 25 and listen comfortably; with the motorMouth, I have to pin it at 50 (that's the top end on my dash unit) to hear it at the same general level as the cable. And it's not like I'm testing the Bluetooth range; the Iphone is in a (Schosche!) plastic dash mount not 4 inches above the AUX input jack. Unless there's some kind of wild impedance mismatch between the mMouth and my AUX jack, I have no idea why the audio signal coming from the mMouth is attenuated so badly I have to jack up the volume so far. This is a total deal killer for me, since I don't dare use it; if I forget to crank it back down to a regular level before switching to the dash unit's FM tuner or a CD, I practically get blasted out of the car! $52.99 wasted; I'm back on the cable.

This was a gift I received, and i was stoked abut hooking it up, since my primary use for it would to streaming my tunes from my cell phone. Hook up was simple for me, then came the testing of the motormouth II. Pairing it with my cell phone was seamless, no issues, once paired it remained paired. Streaming music pretty simple, worked lovely. Using the motormouth II to make and received phone calls was pretty good, not bad. Haven't got any complaints about noise while driving and talking.

Now for the cons, the battery charge doesn't seem to last very long at all, on light use, the USB style charger cable, is way to short, making placement options limited. The cable itself seems a bit cheap for a device price @ $70+.

All in all, this handy little device can solved some of your Bluetooth, music woes. On a chart from 1 5, five being the highest I would give this device a 4 star rating. Why?

1. Design/size could be better

2. Materials could be better for the price

3. Battery life could be much better

I was initially happy with my Motormouth II, but I soon found it was fragile. Simply plugging it in caused the plastic case to split apart. A little superglue fixed it, but weeks later, it ceased taking a charge through the supplied cable. A quick call to Scosche later, they sent a replacement cable free of charge. But THEN, the Motormouth would randomly drop the Bluetooth connection while in use. When you have to take your hands off the wheel and your eyes off the road to re-establish the connection with your phone, it kinda defeats the purpose of Bluetooth, doesn't it? To complicate things, the little red and blue lights that are supposed to tell you what it's up to are invisible in daylight, making it that much more frustrating to try to diagnose why it wasn't working half the time. Was the battery dead, or did it just have a random failure?

On the plus side, when it worked, it worked well, with good call sound quality and seamless switching from streaming audio to phone calls. However, some basic weaknesses with this setup are that you need to turn it on when you get in the car and turn it off when you get out (or the battery will die more quickly). Also, it will work only when your stereo is in the AUX input mode. If you want to listen to FM radio and automatically receive a Bluetooth call, no dice. In other words, if you're looking for the hands-off and forget-about-it convenience of a factory-installed Bluetooth system, you'll have to spend a bit more for a system that interfaces directly with your car's stereo and not just with the input jack.

Want Scosche motorMOUTH Plug and Play Bluetooth Handsfree and Streaming Audio Car Kit Discount?

It depends on what your intended use for this product is. I have a 2008 Chevy Avalanche LTZ with an AUX input jack. So this device is perfect as it is small, lightweight and out of sight, all while streaming my audio from my phone to my Bose sound system. Audio quality is awesome. I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality, but was pleasently surprised.

If you want this for a bluetooth calling adapter to patch phone calls into your stereo, you will be greatly disappointed. I can hear my callers perfectly, but have not received great feedback from those I have called. I get comments like "huh? What? Say that again? I can hear you, but can't make out what you are saying? Are you in a tunnel? etc etc. I have tried multiple calls, while driving, parked, parked with engine off.... Call quality is horrible!!

Pros: Bluetooth audio streaming, lightweight, easy to connect.

Cons: Call quality, battery life

Schumacher SC-600A SpeedCharge High Frequency Battery Charger

Schumacher SC-600A SpeedCharge High Frequency Battery ChargerI purchased the product from Walmart for about $30.00. I purchased it as a compliment to a more powerful but not automatic charger I already have. My main purpose is to keep boat batteries charged during the off season. After reading the instructions and hooking it up it went through the charging and stopping cycles as indicated in the user's manual. All of the indicator lights worked as stated in the manual. So far I have charged two batteries. I hooked them up in the evening, the indicator light showed they were at about 75% charge. By morning they were fully charged and the charging cycle had stopped. According to the user's manual once the charging stops it goes into a maintainance mode where it monitors the battery and when it falls below a pre-set charge, it begins a recharge cycle again. The automatic function is nice because you dont have to worry about over charging. The 6 ft power cord and 6 ft charging cables are convenient because I could charge my boat battery in the garage without having to use an extension chord. I have only charged two batteries but so far, so good.

Schumacher's basic charger 6V or 12V, 2A, 4A & 6A charge rate. Automatic charger that charges, then goes to maintenance mode. Their more expensive chargers have higher charge rates (10A & higher) and additional built-in metering like voltmeter to test state of charge, etc.

I am using it exclusive for my 2 cars in the winter. Went on vacation and returned 6 days later to find the car wouldn't start when the trunk lid (truck light) was left open. With regular below 32 degree weather in the winter in Wash DC, bought this to maintain the 2 car batteries. After jump starting my wife's car, decided to buy this to charge the battery and monitor battery condition (can't leave her stranded or home alone with a dead car battery).

Instructions were simple, but use caution anyway. Charger had approx 6 feet alligator clip cables to connect to battery and keep away from battery (acids, fumes, etc.). With negative-grounded car, attach red clip to positive battery terminal, then black clip to ground (charger must be unplugged from AC). Then plug into AC. Charger has "connection" indicator tyo show a battery is recognized. Then select 6V/12V, then select charge rate (2A or more). When charging, has "charge" indicator light and 3 lights (25%, 50%, 75%) to show progress. When fully charged, 3 progress lights go off and green "charged" indicator lights up and it goes into maitenance mode. Unplug the charger, then disconnect the 2 clips from the battery.

The unit has a five (5) year warranty; very few electrical/electronic devices now have a warranty beyond 1 year. Even the big appliances like washers, dryers, dish washers now come with just 1 year - the manufacturer effectively increased the price by 10% which is about the repair rate for the 3rd to 5th years.

This little charger works equally well when charging and maintaining both 6 and 12 volt automotive batteries. It's a good choice for maintaining batteries in cars which are driven only on special occasions.

It can charge both 6V and 12V batteries, with different amp selection. Different from some of the older style charger, this one will automatically shutoff when charge is full. So you can plugin, clamp on, turn on and walk away doing other things. Never worry about overcharge the battery.

It is light weight and great tool to have, if you have a lot of batteries around. We use it to charge and check the batteries for the large UPS power supplies in our office. Properly maintained battery can extend its life so much, worth many times the cost of this charger.

I tried to start my lawn tractor recently and found that the battery was very severely DEAD!!. I went online and purchased this Schumacher SC-600A speed charger. I hooked it up overnight and that battery was fully charged and quite able to start my tractor the next morning. Great performance, and very easy to use. Next, we're going to top off the car batteries before the really cold weather sets in.

Blackberry 8300 8310 8320 8330 Integrated 12v DC Car Charger and FM Transmitter - Uses Gomadic TipE

Blackberry 8300 8310 8320 8330 Integrated 12v DC Car Charger and FM Transmitter - Uses Gomadic TipExchange to play music on the FM radioThis is a handy device. Use it to keep your phone's battery charged or use it to transmit audio from the phone's MP3 player or radio app through an FM channel on your car's FM receiver.

I have three complaints:

1. Sometimes the signal transmitted by the Gomadic device is just not strong enough to eliminate all hiss in the radio's output. You have to try different radio frequencies and even move the phone around a bit.

2. Because the controls for changing the frequency are part of the same unit as the power plug, viewing the frequency or changing the frequency can be cumbersome.

3. The price is a bit too high. I recently purchased an equivalent device for the iPhone for about five dollars.

This is an amazing FM transmitter. Of course I was leery since I've heard so many bad things about transmitters, but decided to give it a try before buying a new stereo with an audio jack. This works GREAT. Even my skeptical boyfriend was amazed. It even works for me when changing States while driving.. it was working great the whole way and I was surprised that the stations were all "dead" while driving. Once I unplugged it, I realized it wasn't a dead station, but it was still transmitting through a strong radio signal! Please give this a try if you're questioning an FM transmitter. This is GREAT for using Pandora through my phone, and saved me hundreds of dollars!

Car Kit Vehicle Charger + Home Wall Travel Battery Charger for Sprint BlackBerry 9930 - Bold 9650 - Curve 3G 9330 - Style 9670 Cell Phone - Premium Combo Pack - BestCellBuy BrandWhen I'm in the car, I need the ability to charge my Blackberry. That's what i got this piece of junk for. I got this thing pretty cheaply (I believe the shipping cost more $ than the kit itself), but I guess you get what you pay for. Car charging plug is STONE COLD DEAD. And I've only used it maybe once before. Turned the key in the ignition, and to my utter chagrin, NO RED LIGHT *gulp* Taken aback, I incredulously played with the cord, poked at the plug, etc-hoping that it was just a faulty connection-but NO. Dead. No power. This really screwed me over, too, because I was in a remote location-out for the day-and SORELY needed to charge my dead phone. Couldn't do it-for want of a part that i paid to get and was supposed to have the use of. As I mentioned, I've only used this charger perhaps once before. Ugh, ugh. Conveniently, the guarantee is long gone. Back to Amazon to find a replacement kit that's a LITTLE better.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ ON THIS. If I had 3 or 4 thumbs, I'd give it 4 thumbs down.

Uniden Public Safety Receiver (Home Patrol- 1)

Uniden Public Safety ReceiverThe Uniden Home Patrol-1 is an amazing piece of technology. A touch screen scanner that requires very little user input, and has the entire US frequency database in its memory. For the most part, the HP-1 make scanning as simple as can be. You hook up the scanner to your PC, and run the Uniden Sentinel Software. The software downloads the latest frequency database from RadioReference. You upload the the database to the scanner, and you're good to go. Just enter your Zip Code, City, or GPS coordinates, and the HP-1 will scan all the agencies in your area. You can even hook up an optional GPS unit to automatically follow your location. You set the range of the scanner from 0-30 miles to limit how far away the agencies are that the scanner will attempt to scan. You can also select the type of agencies you wish to listen to. I find the "location" setting to be hit or miss. It seems to think that towns that are 40 miles from me, are actually less than 1 mile from me. It also thinks agencies in my own town are more than 10 miles away. This is due to the database, not the scanner. The database has been getting updated on a daily basis, to get it more accurate and up to date. I find that setting up your own "Favorites Lists" works well in listening to what you want to.

As for the hardware itself, the HP-1 is a very solid performer. The receiver has great sensitivity and selectivity. I've listened to APCO-25 digital systems, EDACS, and Motorola analog trunking systems. All of them were configured correctly without any user input. Audio quality is good, but not great. It is about what I expected from a very small speaker. The small SMA duck antenna performs surprisingly well, especially on UHF. The touch screen is bright and easy to use. Battery life with the included 2300mAh batteries is good. I get over 8 hours on a single charge. The scanner is capable of replaying and recording transmissions. A very cool feature. The scanner also comes with a home charger/adapter, car charger/adapter, and home stand. The stand is a nice touch. The HomePatrol-1 is a nice addition to my collection of scanners. People that don't like to program their scanners, or would like to use it in different areas, will probably enjoy it also.

Update: A few months ago, Uniden introduced a new "Extreme Upgrade" firmware update for the Home Patrol-1. They are charging $100 for this upgrade, and it adds some new features to the scanner. So basically in order for you get all the features of the Home Patrol-1, you now have to spend $600, or you'll have a crippled $500 radio. In my opinion, this is a dangerous practice. Many in the Amatuer Radio Community are outraged about this, but everyone has to decide for themselves whether or not they have an issue with this. As a matter of principle, I will not be paying another $100 for a firmware upgrade, and I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. I will also think twice about purchasing another Uniden radio since I'll never know whether or not Uniden will be charging for future upgrades.

Could I be dreaming? Is this really true for this price? All these features with a touch screen? Long and the short of it is this is an amazing breakthrough in digital scanners at this price point! I am a news videographer who has worked in many different markets for various stations and has had a number of different scanners through the years. The Home Patrol 1 beats many of them hands down from both a pro and amateur level. Yes the unit needs some work but I expected that as this is such a new product.

The Pros: Right out of the box you can set it up to work via zipcode, city, GPS(need the proper connection), or area (the HP1 automatically picks up what signals are in the area). These methods work extremely well right out of the box but do have some issues which I'll get to in the Cons section.

For this price it comes with everything, home AND car charger, preloaded frequencies, stand and software all in a touch screen package. Hands down this can't be beat.

The touch screen is brilliant and relatively easy to navigate. Set brightness, auto dim, contrast and power save to your liking and your off.

Having all the frequencies preloaded on a 2gig micro SD card is great also Plus the fact that Uniden updates the list on a regular basis which is taken care of just by plugging the unit into the computer and hitting update in the software.

Squelch, attenuation, range, inputting frequencies, favorites, gps connection and yes even recording are all here.

The In Between: My understanding is that Uniden knows about these problems and are working on fixing them.

While having the ability to set zipcode, range, area etc. is fantastic the unit gets a bit confused and leads to excessive work out of the box. I put my zipcode in and it loaded states that were over two hours away. Same thing with entering range, I set it for 15 miles and it loads frequencies from over forty miles away. So then you have to work on locking out channels left and right.

You can set up what you want to listen to such as fire, police, transportation, rail, etc. but the problem is even with certain departments chosen it will just load everything up. For example all I wanted was police, fire and ems yet it loaded up rail, airports and transportation anyway.

Again Uniden knows about these problems and is working on them.

The Bad or Nitpicky: Being able to save favorites in the unit is a good thing to have but to make an entire list is a giant time consuming pain and your much better off making a list in the software which leads me to the next problem. The software is easy to navigate but has little to no instruction on creating and saving your lists to the unit. I figured it out and once figured out it is a snap but a little instruction would go a long way. In fact entering and saving frequencies in the software is easier than entering them in the unit itself.

The touch screen is a giant step forward but needs some tweeks. I like seeing County, Department, Frequency etc. and be able to one touch lock but to skip a channel requires a three touch process on the tiny bar on the right which while driving can be a pain. This needs to be a one button step like on other handhelds.

The squelch feature is great to have but on the other handheld units you have more finite control with a turn type knob.

Overall a fantastic scanner for the money, it really can't be beat. Yes there are some nitpicky issues but Uniden is working on addressing them and once addressed will make the Home Patrol 1 THE unit to have. Uniden needs to come out with the car mount like they said they were going to three months ago.

Any questions on the software or unit feel free to ask.

Buy Uniden Public Safety Receiver (Home Patrol- 1) Now

I'm in a small city in New Mexico and I'm sure that this scanner works perfectly in Dallas or even Albuquerque but it doesn't work where I am. The advertisements state that when you type in your zip code or city you can begin listening to fire, police, emergency transmissions etc. Unfortunately the transmissions come from a database and if your local police, fire, etc. frequencies aren't in the data base you hear nothing at all. The unit looks like you are scanning Police, railroads, etc. but it never stops.

I'd advise contacting Uniden before investing in this expensive unit if you are in a small town or city.

I've owned all types of scanners over my life having to jump to new technologies as radio systems have evolved across this land.

This particular uniden isn't geared towards the advanced user, you know who your are,the ones who are at ease with programming in trunked radio systems, modes, attenuations and the like. This scanner is geared toward general novice scanner users.....and it's a breeze to use for the most part...I really like it's ability to record audio unattended...and replay it displaying the agency and talkgroup just like as if it were capturing the transmission in real time. It's fun to use while sleeping in a hotel, then replaying what happened overnight in a town you're unfamiliar with... You tend to get a feeling of the more crime ridden parts of a community, (Ooh better stay off so in so street on my way to that meeting etc.)

Even though it really is intended for Home use...you can use it while mobile and even attach hockey puck style GPS devices(with a whole lot of wiring) so you can tool down our nations roadways listening where legal as you drive, it will track systems as you move from area to area... Please remember it's unlawful to use and even have a scanner in your car in a few states (MN,IN,KY,FL,SD,NY) ..So those of you who intend on tossing the unit on your dashboard like a GPS, while trucking cross country might run afowl of the folks you're listening to, so play nice..and follow the laws. Just cuz it's lawful to scan in your home, doesn't mean it's lawful nationwide to scan while mobile.

The audio of the unit at home is fine, while mobile it's not as loud as it should be...and an external speaker should be considered...and there's no easy way to mount the unit in many cars simply because of where Uniden chose to place the SMA style antenna. (it's a very poor location).

It has some advanced features buried in the advanced menu portion of the unit , if you want to manually program a frequency, or tell it to avoid specific systems or departments with in 20 miles or so of you...and as discussed in other reviews...the manual is just plainly poorly written and the software isn't the best either. But it's uniden's first real attempt at a scanner for the masses, living with advanced radio systems in their midst, using data from Radio reference to find it's way from city to city , department to department.

All in all a 4 out of 5 , NOT too highly recommended for folks who are used to the technological side of scanning, but rather those who live in a city with advanced public service communications systems and really just wish to listen to what's happening when a siren races past your home. Just pop in the zip, block out (avoid) the systems and agencies you don't want the unit to receive and you're off and running.

Enjoy and remember watch those mobile scanner laws....you don't want a Kentucky State Patrol person rolling a Crown Vic rear tire over your $500.00 HP 1 at the side of the road during a traffic stop.

My objective was to find a user friendly scanner that did not require an advanced degree is math and physics coupled with years of programming experience, and a professional electronics background. This scanner is easy to use right out of the box, and meets that criteria. What a novel idea . . . a product easy to use and understand.

GTMax Hot Pink USB Mini Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter for T-Mobile Samsung Sidekick 4G SGH-T839

GTMax Hot Pink USB Mini Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter for T-Mobile Samsung Sidekick 4G SGH-T839Does not work. And it is not the color it shows in the picture. I bought this thinking it would be hot pink but its really light pink and does not work on my sidekick 4g

It doesn't hardly stick out from the car interface so it is perfect and never gets knocked out like my old one. It works with anything usb and I love it.

I love how this is small and doesn't have a cord attached so this is easy to store in the car. But I am afraid of losing it due to the size but would still recommend this purchase to anyone. Especially the price and the quick shipping turn around time. Thank you.

iHome IB967B Charging Station for E-readers, Kindle, Blackberries, Ipods and Iphones

iHome IB967B Charging Station for E-readers, Kindle, Blackberries, Ipods and Iphones
  • Dual universal wells charge iPhones and iPods
  • Syncs iPods/iPhones with iTunes
  • Expandable rest area fits and charges (via USB ports) most eBook readers, including Sony Reader, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, etc.
  • Charges BlackBerries via dual USB ports, Quick charge circuits cut iPhone/iPod charging time in half
  • Dual universal wells charge iPhones and iPods^Syncs iPods/iPhones with iTunes

This idea is great. I only have two concerns, but a good design and execution make it an overall positive device.

Pros: it's very handy to have a place to charge all of your devices in one spot. There are a number of adapters included for different iPods/iPhones, as well as cable adapters.

Cons: The main "body" is made of plastic and it's not extremely thick or sturdy. I have some concerns that it might break if abused. Also, the places where the cables are supposed to be wound and held underneath are not the most well-designed aspect of the charging station. They work fine, but when you have the cables wrapped around the pegs, they tend to stick out a little bit and prevent the station from laying flat on the counter/table/etc.

iHome IB967B Charging Station for E-readers, Blackberries, Ipods and IphonesThe station looks and works as advertised but the picture is deceptive when it comes to the E-reader size. My Kindle is the small 2nd generation, it doesn't fit on the station as shown. it does charge everything as advertised and connects directly to the computer to sync your ipods.

I bought this charger station because we have three iPhones and an iPod in the house as well as a Kindle. The rapid charger dock takes less than an hour to charge my phone completely. The station is super easy to set up, plus I didn't have to remove my hard case to charge the phone. My son's otterbox means he can't use the two docks, but he can keep his cover on and still charge with one of the extra two charge ports.

The charging station arrived quickly, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. Just wish I had gotten it sooner!

We purchased this item as a gift for someone who has an Iphone 4S, BT headset and Kindle Fire they wanted to charge. This unit does not have the juice to charge the fire even with it being the only device hooked up. It's not a bad dock, but as others have pointed out its rather cheap both in looks and quality of materials. If you only need it to charge low power devices this unit may work out.

NoteWe also found that this unit did not have enough juice to power two 4s's side by side and a BT via Micro USB ... it simply would not charge the 2nd 4s until we unplugged the first one.

This docking station is nice, but there are some features (or lack of features) you should be aware of.

1. There are only two USB ports available for additional devices (such as your blackberry or kindle)

2. The base is flimsy plastic and doesn't expand enough to fit a kindle. (the Sony reader shown in the picture is smaller).

If you have a couple of iPods and some other devices that can charge via USB, then this is a good product for you. If you're looking for something to charge devices other than iPods, then you should keep shopping.

I had to buy a refurbished unit from Pioneer because my original INNO started to mess up. When I got the refurbished unit and downloaded the latest software it would not hold a charge. I thought the battery might be bad and bought a new one but it ended up that something was wrong with my new refurbished unit.

The battery purchased was for an Inno XM portable Radio. The battery does not live up to its written recommendation. Upon leaving the battery in the product for two days (after charging, it was depleted!! I had to charge it again the battery was depleted from just sitting for 48 hours! The ad stated that it was equal to or better than the factory battery (or words to that effect)NADA! The factory battery held a charge for weeks even w/ constant use, and it lasted for (3) years. I will be lucky if this battery lasts one year from my initial observations.

Well I now have had the battery for over (3) months WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! My original (3) year old battery performs as this new one does I have to charge it every night if I wan to use it the next day! This Lenmar battery DOES NOT DO WHAT IT WAS ADVERTISED TO DO IT IS USELESS and a WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Instapark® Mercury 4S Ultra-slim Portable Solar USB Cell Phone Charger with Built-in 2,000 mAh Rec

Instapark® Mercury 4S Ultra-slim Portable Solar USB Cell Phone Charger with Built-in 2,000 mAh Rechargeable Battery Pack for Apple iPhone & other smart phones, CamouflageAfter reading great reviews of this on Outdoorgearlab, I bought this for a long bike trip I went on. The size and weight is excellent but it just didn't work reliably. I left it out in the direct sun on multiple attempts to charge. Although this should have charged my phone to full, I could only get 50% or less.

One of the problems is that there isn't enough feedback about the charge state of the battery. There is only one LED on the unit and their instruction manual says it turns from red to green when the battery gets 80% charged. You never really know how much charge is in there. Also, on a few occasions I charged it to green, took it out of the sun, then set it out to keep charging and it started over from red.

It did give my phone partial charges, so if you just need something to casually top off your phone while at the beach, it probably would work fine for you. However, for long trips where there is no access to electricity, reliability and consistency is important. I eventually returned this product. For my next trip, I'll probably try a more expensive panel from a different brand.

I've had this his solar charger for a few months now and it charged my G2x Android phone just fine. It works better when you charge the device your charging while the panel is getting a direct charge from the sun. The quality of the unit is well built and folds nicely in a compact form.

Retractable Car Charger for HTC Rezound ADR6425, Vivid, Radar 4G

Retractable Car Charger for HTC Rezound ADR6425, Vivid, Radar 4GTo the person under me who says it doesn't fit, it fits my Incredible and Rezound. The only difference between the the two device's USB ports is that on the Rezound, you turn standard chargers upside down with the smooth side down and the prongs up. Doesn't take much investigating to figure that out. You must have either been shipped the wrong one or you left a bogus review.

Anyway, mine lasted for a few months then decided to burn out while charging and smell like somebody left their E-brake on while on the highway. Also, the cord winding mechanism broke.

This is not the correct connection for the HTC ReZound. Don't waste your money, you're gonna be upset when your charger arrives and it doesn't fit your phone (or you damage your phone trying to jam this thing in there).

Small and the retractable cord is awesome. No more wrapping it up. Easy to carry and convenient to use. Excellent.

PowerStation PS1118 Jump Starter

PowerStation PS1118 Jump StarterI purchased the PS1100 (no longer made, the PS1118 is similar) a couple years ago and it worked great in all applications until.....I recently tried to use it for starting my 2003 Tundra (V8). I got the loud clicking noise from the solenoid indicating it wasn't getting the needed power to fully engage. Looked up the specs on the truck battery and the PS1100 and found the pS1100 provides "about 400-450 CCA" and the truck battery spec calls for 750 CCA. Bottom line? These portable starters are great unless you have a vehicle that requires higher CCA. If you're not sure, take the time to check what your vehicle requires. If it's over 450 CCA, this unit will probably not start your vehicle, especially if your battery has been severely discharged.

I use these with a converter to run a light, credit card machine, and cash register at trade shows. It lasted all day without problems.

Excellent tool to have around the shop to start disabled vehicles. We had one exactly like it for many years. It finally went bad and we couild not find one like it locally. Thanks to you we found one.

This unit provided the best combinations of features I considered desirable (cold cranking amps) and features I was not interested in (compressor) for the money. An added plus is the ability to recharge directly with just a power cord. Not needing a wall wart is a convenience.

Motorcycle, Atv, Snomobile Power Outlet ..12v..5 ' long

Motorcycle, Atv, Snomobile Power Outlet ..12v..5 ' longI bought this to plug onto my battery tender harness so I could have a 12 volt outlet on my bike to charge my electronics as I rode. It seems to work well however might need something to help keep the 12 volt plugs secured in place as they tend to self eject over time and you are no longer charging. I think it is a better option than some of the costly options (power pod) for this issue that are out there however it is not perfect.

i think this was the first install i was able to do on my own on my bike. it wasnt hard at all just a little time consuming. Only reason it took so long is because i removed some of the plastic side panels on my honda cbr 600 09' to get the wire behind the plastic sides so that it looked cleaner. it works great doesnt suck up power as long as the bike is turned off. great buy and i would definitely recommend it to anyone that may have long drives and a bluetooth on their helmet for important calls and you cant have your phone dying.
