Original Parrot Minikit Smart Universal Bluetooth Hands-Free Charging Holder PF290008AA

Original Parrot Minikit Smart Universal Bluetooth Hands-Free Charging Holder PF290008AATest device: Samsung Epic, Android 2.2

I've been keeping an eye on Parrot's product line ever since I got my Fit a few years ago as there wasn't an option for hands-free. I wasn't ready to drop a few hundred on one of the integrated systems, plus another hundred or so for installation, though they look to be the best way to go. I tried a product similar to the Minikit, which turned out to be a disaster as it was way too quiet and then fell apart. But, I decided to give the Minikit Smart a try anyhow, based on the generally good reviews of their other products. My hope was that it was better than my current solution, which was to plug the phone's audio out into my Fit's audio in and shout a lot.

Out of the box, I was mostly happy with what I saw. The Minikit feels pretty solid, and similar in weight to my Garmin GPS. The cradle snuggled up well with my Epic, with no interference with the Epic's side buttons. No way to use the Epic's camera though, as it's fully blocked when centered on the Minikit's back. That eliminates the use of augmented reality apps while driving. Honestly, I worry about the mic, which on a thin retracting cable. If I have this thing attached to another surface and the suction holding the main body in place lets go, I am not confident that the cable is going to survive. No option to export the audio either, so if that cable does break, the Minikit becomes a paperweight. The kit seemed to contain everything I needed to get it to work, though the manual leaves a lot to be desired. Not that I needed it, but I was a little surprised Parrot didn't include a charging cable for iPhones, given their popularity. Even without, the kit still contains two of the most common cable types for smart phones.

As indicated by the manual, I first went to get the latest update for the Minikit from Parrot's website. Let me tell you, what a pain in the @ss. Navigating around the Parrot site is frustrating at best, even to the point of switching languages on you. While the US version of the site doesn't have a compatibility list for the Minikit, which makes sense since it is advertised as good for all smartphones, the UK version of the site I was transferred to does have one, (add the following to the end of Parrot's dot com address: /uk/support/onlinehelpguides/parrot_minikit_smart/compatibility). The list isn't so full, and my phone isn't listed. Eventually, I was able to find the software update for the Minikit (Note: The Parrot Software Update Tool is not compatible with the Minikit Smart, you need to visit the UK site to the software and instructions for flashing.) Following the procedure went well, and in a few minutes, I was able to update.

For the charging to work, you *must* have the Minikit connected to a power source for this to happen. It will not charge up your device from its own internal battery. I used a standard USB cable and USB cigarette light adapter instead of the included adapter, as I wanted the extra USB port my adapter offered (allows me to charge two USB devices at the same time). The included micro-USB cable fitted my Epic with no problem. It's a pretty short cable, just enough to reach around the back and connect without too much strain on the connectors. As hoped for, it charged up my phone without a problem. I was also able to charge both the Minikit and the phone using a USB wall adapter. A tad over 2hrs and the Minikit was ready to go.

Pairing my Epic with the Minikit was smooth as silk. In short order it had synced all my contacts over and was ready for use. I placed a few test calls from within the house, a quiet environment where I thought it would perform the best for taking vocal commands and for me being able to hear it. Hearing was no problem at all, the 2W speaker more than enough in the dead silence. The voice recognition didn't do so well. Out of 5 attempts for 10 different contacts, the Minkit only dialed out correctly once, most often not understanding who I was trying to call. Trying various mic positions didn't seem to help. In contrast, I use the voice input on my phone often and it rarely has issues, even when I am shouting at it while driving along the freeway.

In the car, I mounted the Minikit to the dash on the same plate that I had been using for my Garmin GPS and connected everything up. It's not a clean look, for sure. Power cord to the Minikit so it can provide power to my phone. One cord from the Minikit to the phone to give it said power. Mic cord from the Minikit to where I mounted the mic. And one optional cable to pipe music from the phone to the car's sound system. Looks a bit like a spider perched up there on the dash. Staying within the laws governing obstruction of view and items hung from the windshield could be a challenge with this setup, at least if one wants/plans to use the Minikit's ability to keep their phone charged up.

On the road, the Minikit's base was quite steady, holding onto the dash without a problem. The base's swivel allows for angling your device just right for best viewing and it's pretty tight. The swivel can be tightened further, should it start loosening up over time or because of a weighty device. The mic surface mount included in the kit held the mic in place without a problem. The cradle holds my Epic firmly, and the phone did not shift in position whatsoever over the course of several trips. For me, it was too quiet to use properly (not much sound deadening in a smart sporty car). Around town it was ok, as long as I had the windows up, no music going, and the fan for the heat/AC wasn't on. Anything above 60mph and it was too difficult to hear. I eventually plugged it directly to my Fit's sound system, and that worked much better. Though I couldn't listen to the radio or a CD with it plugged in like this, I could use Pandora, Audible, and few other music related apps instead. Callers could hear me pretty ok, I only had to repeat myself a few times at a higher volume.

The Minikit Smart is a decent product, but, not without its drawbacks. I wish I'd opted for one of their systems that is fitted right to my car's stereo though. It doesn't look clean when installed, should be removed after every trip so as not to invite thieves, and if I get an extended life battery for my phone the cradle probably won't be able to hold onto my phone anymore. As well, it's still better than what I had. Maybe I'll resort to taking it apart and integrating it into my Fit a bit better.

Samsung Original Galaxy S3 Vehicle Navigation Suction Mount Holder With Vehicle Charging Adapter (R

Samsung Original Galaxy S3 Vehicle Navigation Suction Mount Holder With Vehicle Charging AdapterI purchased this for my new Galaxy S3. It arrived timely though the box was slightly crushed. The instructions were easy to follow. I installed this last night and used it for the first time this morning. I was pleased that the adjustable side grips made for easy insertion of my "skin" encased phone. This is awesome!! Hopefully, my story has a happy ending and I will not have to update my rating or comments.

Motorola TalkAbout T5820 AA 5-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radios (Pair) (Graphite Black)

Motorola TalkAbout T5820 AA 5-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radios
  • 5-Mile Range
  • 22 Designated GMRS/FRS Channels
  • 38 Interference Eliminator Codes
  • 10 Audible Call Tones
  • Vibra Call Alert

I originally got another 2-way radio (Audiovox GMRS1100 2CH), then traded up. ....

The T5820 seems sturdy. A little bigger and heftier than the Audiovox, it's shaped to fit the hand, and has rubber grips and cushioning. I'd try to avoid dropping either unit (if you need milspec durability, get a Yaesu), but this unit is more likely to survive impact. It's also splashproof, though not submersible.

Audio quality is where the Motorola shines. It has a real volume knob rather than a button, which together with the better-quality speaker lets you hear more clearly at both loud and quiet settings. The roger beep is clear but not louder than the conversation, and the inevitable end-of-transmission click is muted. I also like the Moto call tones much better than the Audiovox bleeps, and there are more of them.

Operation is logical, the buttons are well-placed and the belt clip locks firmly and detaches easily.

The LCD is smaller than on the Audiovox but easy to read. Both units use a mode button to step you through the functions, both have 22 x 38 channels, and both LCDs have clear indicators of what's going on. The Moto LCD is better illuminated.

All radios are FCC-limited to .5 watt in the FRS range. The Audiovox has more output power in the GMRS range than the Moto (1.8 watts vs. 1w) and has an SMA-standard antenna you can switch out for more range. Its hands-off VOX function works with the built-in mic and speaker, while the Moto's works only with a mic plugged in. You can also monitor two channels simultaneously on the Audiovox. On the other hand, the T5820 can exclude noisy channels from the scan sequence, and has a silent vibration mode for discreet paging. Neither radio has a real squelch control, but both can stay on and scan while charging.

The big plusses of the Motorola are the quality of its mechanical design and its audio. After all, you use a radio to talk and listen. The big defect of the Audiovox is its difficulty picking up transmissions from non-Audiovox radios! Something about the frequency deviation made the reception unintelligibly choppy on most of the traffic I heard.

I've done no range testing yet. We expect to use this radio mostly around the neighborhood, and while shopping and running errands. For all that the 2-mile FRS range will do fine. When we next go on a climbing or boating trip I'll get the FCC license ... that's needed to use the 5-mile range GMRS channels.

I have used ICOM IC-4008A FRS-type radios for the past several years and wanted an output power upgrade for distance. The black ("graphite") T5820 units were on special, and after the rebate I paid $60 for the pair.

Thay have been satisfactory for all the uses I have, with one modification and one upgrade. The upgrade was to install the rechargeable battery packs, which allowed me to do the modification, which was sealing the hole in the battery compartment cover.

The Motorolas have worked for me during beach and boating use, and during hiking. They have been used in the rain and occasionally splashed with no harm done. The speakers are made from polymer and sealed around their periphery (according to the factory guy I talked to) and the battery compartment cover has a rubber gasket, which is hard to see since it is black on black. This leaves the hole in the battery compartment cover. The hole allows the cover's latch to be opened, but also is an entry point for water. I solved this by going to the nicad rechargeable batteries (so the batteries do not have to be changed frequently) and also attaching a piece of black vinyl electrician's tape over the latch hole and past the bottom edge of the cover a bit. This closes the hole and keeps the battery compartment cover from falling off if the unit is dropped.

With these changes, the radios are great for my purposes. I have obtained about 3 miles over the water they may go further, but I haven't had a way to test them over 3 miles.

I like them so much that I am buying another pair with the nicad battery option.

These are, even on sale, more expensive than a lot of these FRS/GMRS units. However, they have a nice heft and feel; solid little units that work very nicely.

I haven't pushed their distance ratings to their limits -they work terrificly for kids going into the woods or down the road, talking to home base.

With Motorola's "Interference Eliminator Codes", I haven't had any problems finding an unused channel & code combination.

Some notes:

Motorola's Interference Eliminator Codes aren't compatible with all other makes of FRS/GMRS radios, so you'll have to check that if you want to use multiple brands of radios together.

Uses 3 AA batteries each, 6 total. They will last all day monitoring, with moderate talking, but you'll want a big stock of batteries or a set of rechargeable AAs.

There is a built-in NiCd rechargeable battery unit that replaces the standard 3 AAs of this model radio, available as an extra purchase. However, also look in to the other T5820 units that come with the NiCd built in. (search for T5820 to see the various options and colors.) ...

FRS is a low-power (1/2 watt, "2 miles") mode, free like the old Citizen's Band, while GMRS is higher power (1 watt, "5 miles") and requires an FCC license. This unit does both FRS and GMRS (though only a portion of the channels of each). A GMRS license is (relatively) easy to get ..., but you'll pay ... for one license to cover the whole family for 2 years, any number of radios. ("Relatively easy" means online government forms that are far easier than, say, filing your taxes. You have to get an "FRN" number, and then apply for the license.)

My fiance and I play a lot of airsoft (kinda like paintball) and we use radios like this a lot. I have to say, I am not very fond of our Motorola radios! We constantly had issues with sound quality, even within short distances. Half the radios we bought ended up broken after only a few uses!

Another annoyance with the radios is the talk button which is sunk in to the side and annoying to press, especially when you're wearing gloves! It takes a pretty hard push to activate, which I found very aggravating. We also had issues with accidentally messing with the volume all the time because of poor placement of the volume control.

These might work better for people who are not so rough on their radios, but for us they just weren't acceptable. There are much better choices out there, especially for the price!

So, I have used the product twice now since it arrived. I use it with my IPhone 4s. I haven't had an issue and seems to be working just fine. The only thing is the color and I see nothing stating "KHOMO," maybe it's not supposed to? It looks more like the COSMO brand then the Khomo. Not really sure. Reason I gave it 3 stars because of the color and brand not showing as in the picture used to describe the item. It's surely not a brighter nor darker pink. It's actually a light pink huge difference form the pic shown. So, over all the product it's self seems to be working just fine. I'm just not a fan of "light" pink sorry. So, if the item looking a different color and what seems to be a different brand other then the one stated/shown (WHICH I COULD BE ABSOLUTELY WRONG ON), then this product will do you just fine! Like I said the item it's self works just fine.

Black Rapid Home Travel AC Charger (110-240v) + Black Rapid Car Charger for Nintendo NDS Lite DS Li

Black Rapid Home Travel AC Charger + Black Rapid Car Charger for Nintendo NDS Lite DS LiteThese chargers came in a set of two; one for the home and one for the car. They have proven to be extremely useful and convenient when charging my son's Nintendo DS. I couldn't find chargers for his DS in the stores (they only have chargers for DSI's), and I'm glad I found these online.

I bought 2 sets just for the 240V capability. I got 2 sets both 110V only. I just realized that the 6 pictures actually show 2 different chargers, I got the second one. I wrote to Electromaster. They replied that they want their customers satisfied, what is the problem, what should they do? I thought the problem is clear and they must know what to do. So I asked them to replace my chargers with the correct 110-240V versions. They never replied to that.

Yuasa (Enersys) Genesis NP7-12T - 12 Volt/7 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with 0.250 Fast-on Co

Yuasa Genesis NP7-12T - 12 Volt/7 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with 0.250 Fast-on ConnectorThe "Yuasa (Enersys) Genesis NP7-12T 12 Volt/7 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with 0.250 Fast-on Connector" is a nice, high quality battery. I got two of these batteries to replace the OEM battery pack in an APC Smart-UPS 700Net. After installation, I powered up the UPS and all worked well with the battery power level reading fully charged from the start. Batteries were supplied with plastic terminal covers (see photo). For two batteries, it was $39.97 delivered and a good price. All points being the same, I recommend this product.

Batteries were very well packed (see photo) and promptly shipped by Portable Power Systems, PPS.

My original battery in my APC powercell lasted 12 years (hard to believe). The replacement had the same quality workmanship as the original. The total time to replace the battery was 10 minutes. Perfect fit. No complaints so far.

Update 12/19/2010

Battery still working Great.

Update 10/10/2011:

No complaints, Battery is going strong.

Yuasu was the brand of battery that lasted 9 years in my home alarm system. I found out that it can also be used to replace APC's RBC2 replacement cartridges. The APC brand had a bad batch? which lasted only 1.5 to 2 years vs the original 4 to 5 years. I am replacing my APC replacement cartridges with the Yuasu as they give out. I guess I am saying that I am willing to pay more for a quality battery which lasts longer. However I won't know how well this battery will last. Just my experience with the one that lasted 9 years (albeit in a low backup use).

When I received the Yuasa Battery I found that I had ordered it with the wrong size connector. I called the company that had shipped it and asked what I could do to either make this battery work or return it for the right size. The connectors arrived several days later and the battery is working fine. It was a pleasure doing business with you and them.

Car Charger for the iPod Nano 1G, 2G and 3G, iPod Video, iPod Photo, iPod U2, iPod 3G, 4G, and iPod

Car Charger for the iPod Nano 1G, 2G and 3G, iPod Video, iPod Photo, iPod U2, iPod 3G, 4G, and iPod Classic, iPod Touch, and iPhone
  • Brand new non-OEM
  • LED power indicator and Vehicle Lighter Adaptor. (12v DC)
  • Plug never heats or overcharges the battery
  • Built-in charging circuitry protects your car against back-flow current and your iPod from excessive
  • iPod not included

Trust me, there is a good reason why these chargers are dirt cheap. I received two of them, and they were BOTH defective!

On the first charger, the light on the charger turned green when I plugged it into the 12V power port on my car, but it would not charge my iPod Photo. I noticed that the light on the charger itself blinked red for a split second when I plugged it into my iPod, but then quickly returned back to green and did nothing particually useful after that.

It took two full weeks to finally receive a replacement from "BargainCell", which was unfortunately ALSO defective. This charger was a different model than the first one, which had a red light that turned on when I plugged into the 12V socket. When I plugged it into my iPod, it started to charge for a few seconds, only to "reboot" quickly after that. My poor iPod kept restarting itself every few seconds, until a bad battery icon showed up on the screen and the iPod froze. My hunch is that the second charger was not sending a steady voltage to the iPod, which was causing it to crash.

Fortunately, my iPod did not seem to be damaged by either of these defective chargers. The iPod still charges when I plug it into my computer, and continues to play normally. I also know that the 12V power port on my car is not the cause of this problem, either, as I'm using it to successfully power both my GPS and my cell phone charger.

The most annoying thing from this experience is that I needed to go to the store and spend far more on a working name brand car charger for my iPod after wasting three weeks with these pieces of junk. Please learn from my mistake, and steer clear of this garbage.

This charger is dirt cheap for a reason!! It is horrible!! When I first used it, I was dissapointed right away with the 2 foot extended chord (pretty much max lenth), because unless you have a car charging port right next to you, it is almost impossible to use your ipod while charging it. Also, when I first plugged it in, the charging indicator light was RED! What a dissapointment! Finally, much like in the first review, my 30 gig video ipod showed identical symptoms to that of the first reviewer's. It continually restarted and shut off from the insufficient power supply, and would freeze on me as well. I as well went home later and plugged my ipod into the computer, and it worked just fine.

Samsung SCH-U700 Gleam Cell Phone Car Charger

Samsung SCH-U700 Gleam Cell Phone Car ChargerI bought this charger much cheaper than Verizon stores sell it for. It's working perfectly. I just bought another one for my second car. Also, the shipping was super fast. It's a great buy.

I like this charger so much. Now I can charge my phone while away from home. I kept putting this off. A salesperson from the Verizon store mentioned trying Amazon to find the right car charger. Amazon had the car charger at a great price. Totally happy!

With the price ($0.01 plus shipping), I was convinced that it would be junk. But surprisingly it works and I have had no problem so far (3 weeks or so). Can't beat the price.

Broke upon opening. Spent 20 minutes taking it apart, refitting, and gluing back together. Hope it doesn't blow my electrical system up. Can't beat the price though (get what you pay for).

New OEM Verizon Micro USB V9 Car Charger with USB Port for LG Revere VN150

New OEM Verizon Micro USB V9 Car Charger with USB Port for LG Revere VN150This charger works well, and is a definite improvement over the brand-specific chargers of the past. With a mini-USB connection, this charger also works for charging other mini-USB connected devices, and is also useful for data transfer between the phone and a computer. It is branded "Verizon", and, for the price, is less than 1/2 the price Verizon charges for it. Also, it is equipped to charge 2 devices at the same time, saving space and money for a 2nd charger (you will need a 2nd data cable, but they are less than $5). It works, is priced well, and is an excellent buy.

I bought these chargers from Verizon about 3 years ago for $29.99 each plus tax. I just received two of them from Amazon for only about $14.00. They work perfectly and I don't get a warning message from my phone that they aren't OEM chargers! What a savings and what a deal from Amazon. Quick free shipping. I highly recommend these to anyone with a cell phone that these fit/work with.

Car Charger for HTC Touch Pro 2

Car Charger for HTC Touch Pro 2This does not fit HTC Touch Pro2, however, when notified, they quickly sent me the correct charger.

The mini-usb plug appears to not be compatible with the Touch Pro 2 because it is a different shape but it still plugs in and charges the phone without issues.

RoadPro RPAT-774 Rechargeable Emergency System with 12V Power Port and Air Compressor

RoadPro RPAT-774 Rechargeable Emergency System with 12V Power Port and Air CompressorI am so pleased with this item I am grinning. I have had two other portable battery charger/air pumps in the past and within six months they both became useless because their internal battery would not take a charge. These not only charge up fine but hold their charge riding around in the trunk or the car for months. I use them for pumping up bicycle tires and have jump-started three different vehicles using the item. I like it.

I've never been really happy with this unit from the very start. Inflating car tires is extremely slow, slower than my manual pump. It can handle high pressures but not because it is strong but because it does not push much air through. For bicycle racing tubes of 90+ psi it really struggled too. The only time I used the jump start function it failed. Soon after one of the clamps broke. And couple days back, the motor burned out while pumping the first of four car tires. Two instead of 1 star really just because it survived 4 years of very light use and the price was not bad. I am going for a pricier studier unit next time.

I've also carried this around in my trunk for several months. When I needed it, it still had a charge. I really like knowing I can air up a car tire if necessary as well. Plus, there are boat towables, air mattresses, etc., that it will come in handy for. Since it's portable, I can also take it down to the boat if needed.

What I was planning to do with it:

Jump start a small vehicle (900cc motorcycle)

Inflate vehicle tires

After five months of use:

Jump starting a vehicle: Poor. No go. Power was enough to slow crank the engine, but couldn't get it started. This was a mid-sized motorcycle, 900cc, with 12V battery. Emergency charger dropped about three inches and the clamp broke (see construction).

Tire inflator: About average speed and noise for battery operated inflators.

I have no real complaints about itIt did it's job.

Construction: Poor. The battery casing itself seems sturdy enough with for the price paid. However the jumper cable clamps are not well designed or constructed. Clamps are a cheaply molded plastic with riveted copper teeth. In more expensive sets, copper clamps are covered with insulation, though not in this case. In other words, this is not designed to last very long.

Overall: If you're looking for something that will last you more than a year to eighteen months, find something else.

Works good but the alligator clamps are cheap and broke right away. I would not recommend this to buy, but it worked o.k. other than the clamps!

Energizer 84022 12V 350 Ca Jump-Start System

Energizer 84022 12V 350 Ca Jump-Start SystemThis unit is much more useable for jump starting, and, tire inflation in adverse weather conditions, than the more elaborate jump/inverter/inflator packages available. It is compact and stores in the trunk more easily than the larger units. This unit is also half the price of the other units. I highly recommend it if you live in cold weather climates in which jump starting is inevitable most winters.

I have a tractor, an ATV, a Range Rover and a VW that must start when I need them, or, I am in trouble (sometimes could be stranded). This unit fills the need for starting any of these vehicles in a pinch.

The large dial might look cartoonish, but, when you are in the middle of a blizzard, with gloves on, and heavy clothing, it is easy to locate the switch (even in the dark) as you fumble around to get a vehicle started in deep snow.

At 20 pounds, I find that I can carry it from the garage to the vehicles more easily than the larger units, and, it's easier to find some stable place to put it when you are jumping a vehicle than the larger, heavier packages.

I bought this to replace a Duracell jump/inverter package. Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack 600 Jump Starter & Emergency Power Source with Radio

I would have bought another Duracell package except for three things: (1) 600 amps is nice, but, you don't really have to have it for most jumps; (2) the inverters are nice, but, I found that I almost never used them; (3) the price has doubled on these units in the past couple of years, and, the benefits they offer are not worth the extra money; (4) it was very fragile I had it on the side of my pickup truck and it dropped a distance of only a few feet, once, and the case was irreparably damaged from the modest fall. I had to throw it out. (The designers who invent these things on computers aren't the ones who have to use it in 4 feet of snow, with 50 mph of driving wind, and a 45 year old tractor that has a tired battery under the seat).

This unit isn't built much better than the Duracell, but, the smaller size makes it easier to find a safe, stable place to put it while you are jumping another vehicle.

I find that this little unit meets 99% of my emergency battery needs, and, the cost savings make it a worthy alternative to the larger, more elaborate packages.

I recently received this product, but have not yet tried to use it. So why four stars? The unit seems well made, and I am fairly confident it will do the job. The reason I am writing this review now, and the reason I took off one star, is that I wanted to share something I read in the user manual, which might have changed my mind about purchasing the unit.

Your intended use might be different, but the reason I bought this unit was to keep it in the car all the time (charging it periodically) in case the car's battery went dead without warning. (It does happen.) Now that I have read the instructions (which I could not find on-line prior to purchase), I see that this is not a good idea. Here are quotes from the user manual...

"All batteries are affected by temperature changes. Jumpstart 400's small size, lightweight battery is more sensitive to storage temperature than a typical automotive battery. The ideal storage temperature is at 70 degrees." ... "Jumpstart 400 must be kept in an environment with temperatures around 70 degrees." ... "Do not keep Jumpstart 400 in your vehicle in extremely hot or cold temperatures." ... "If you have a concern about your vehicle starting, and you are going to work, take Jumpstart 400 into your office. Then you can be confident the Jumpstart 400 battery will provide the power you need."

Where I live, it seems that all we have are extremely hot or cold temperatures, especially in a parked car. So to me, the temperature issues severly limits the usefulness of the product. To be fair, I would expect that all small-ish jump start units, including those from other manufacturers, would probably have the same temperature issue.

I bought the Energizer 84022 jumpstarter, and even though it arrived a day later than originally estimated by Amazon, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. My car had been sitting in the cold for 2 weeks, battery was totally gone -the lights and alarm wouldn't even work. I plugged in the jumpstarter and let it charge overnight. In the morning the green 'charged' indicator was shining and I decided to give it a shot. Hooking the jumpstarter up to my car was easy -the cables have a nice long reach, it beeped when everything was hooked up properly, and then I flipped the switch to 'Jump' and turned my key. Less than a second later my engine started without a hitch.

I had to get a skid-loader started in -10 degree weather that of course had a totally dead battery.

I was amazed that this device could even turn over the frozen motor let alone spin it fast enough to start but it did.

The quality of the plastic parts, clamps and switches are fantastic.

I do keep it in the house and fully charged which helps greatly.

Want Energizer 84022 12V 350 Ca Jump-Start System Discount?

I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a jumpstart. It is easy to use and has enough power to jumpstart your everyday vehicels (cars, trucks, 4-wheelers) I use it on all the above. Charging it is what I like the most. No adaptors to keep up with just plug it in a drop cord and let go. It's a winner in my book.
