Ths is exactly what I needed. I have so many 12volt DC products I need connected at the same time and this definetly helps. I like thatI can mount it where I need to, and there is a good sized cord that comes with it. The built in LED "Power usage" indicator lights are nice, especially if you have your engine off and your woried about your batter. If it goes from green to orange, start your vehicle and you won't have to worry if your battery is going to die.

If you have a couple things you need to plug in at the same time in your car like me this thing is pretty sweet. I would have liked to see it with a little bit longer cord so it can be routed without seeing the wires,other wise it works good, I have it mounted with velcro to my dash so I can plug my radar detector my phone and my Xm at the same time.

Based on the reviews I had read, I bought this "3 cigarette lighter" outlet expander for myself.

I have to say this is one of the most practical purchases I've ever made.

It is great if you're traveling/road tripping and you and your passenger BOTH want to charge your phones simultaneously with different chargers. Or if you're both charging non-MP3 phones AND you want to use an mp3 player.

Or, in my case, if you want to charge both of your phones AND use your portable lava lamp, simultaneously. :-)

It also prevents the car's one and only 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter from getting in the way of tall travel coffee mugs in the cup holder just beneath.

Bought these to use for our home delivered meals program one of our drivers kept smelling something burning looked down and the outlet was melting. He was afraid it was going to burn his car up. And there were only 2 things plugged into it. Would not recommend buying this item especially for long periods of use as our routes are only about 1-2 hours long and they were already melting.

This kit is good for traveling all around the world, it has all the plugs you need UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, US, Japan and more.. But you have to be very careful what you use it for. The included converter has two settings: 50W & 1600W. On the 1600W setting it acts as a solid state converter which is designed only to support up to 1600 watt for purely resistive appliances (heat producing) such as hair dryers but not flat irons which require transformers. You may ask why? because most hair dryers are purely resistive, they only have heating element without any kind of electronics components. On the other hand flat irons now have electronic chips that control the heat. Thus using the solid state converter such as this on a 1600W setting will damage the converter and the flat iron. Now, on the 50W setting it acts a transformer for small electronics up to 50W. 50W is enough for small items such as battery chargers and shavers. I bought this to take with me on a two week trip to Spain and Portugal so I could use my curling iron and charge my notebook computer. The first time I used it (curling iron) all went well. The second time, I was charging my notebook (on the low setting of course)while answerinig email. Something suddenly smelled hot. Then, big pop, and all the lights went out. The hotel sent a maintenance person who reset the breaker switch. The next morning I decided to try one more time. The second the metal of the converter with plug touched the metal in the outlet....pop.....lights and power out. This time I reset the breaker. So this converter failed completely on the second use. It was impossible to use it any more, and I threw it away. What a waste of money! Don't buy this one.

I purchased this kit because it had both settings for use with normal and higher wattage appliances. The first night it worked properly but I noticed it was very warm and smelled like plastic burning. I thought it was due to being used the first time. The next night I plugged it in and after a few minutes the smell was evident and the breaker popped in our hotel room. We called the desk and they said it happens all the time and they'd be right up to reset it. They reset it and it immediately tripped the breaker again. At that point the attendant came in the room and plugged it in himself and it threw out sparks and again tripped the breaker. I managed to locate a new converter two days later, however only for the normal appliances so my hair products stayed in my suitcase and I looked "lovely" the balance of the trip!

Obviously, it's going back!...do NOT buy this product...it is not a quality product, not reliable and potentially dangerous. The first time I used this wall charger, it did exactly what it was supposed to do, which was charge my iPod. Even though it doesn't seem relevant, I enjoyed the little blue light on the face of the unit. After using it, I unplugged the charger and set in on my desk. The second time I tried to plug in the charger, no lie, I noticed the electrical prongs from the charger itself were still in the wall outlet. Yep. When I unplugged the charger, the metal prongs broke off and stayed in the wall. It happened so easily that I didn't even notice it had broken until the next time I tried to use it. The most fun part about it was trying to find a useful rubber or plastic tool to pull the prongs out of the outlet. Yes it will charge your iPod. Yours may not break. Mine did. Luckily, Belkin seems to have pretty good customer service and warranties, so they are replacing the charger for free. All I have to do is pay to ship the defective unit to them :)

I originally purchased this product as I was traveling outside of the US and wanted something lightweight that I could use anywhere for both my iPhone and iPod as a recharger. I read the reviews and it seems this Belkin unit works "great" if it works at all. And if it doesn't work people are understandably unhappy. I didn't return mine, I just threw out the cable and used the one I got with my iPod. Works fine that way. I figure I lucked out in that it was just the cable that was bad. If the whole thing was bad I'd have to return it for a refund. Too bad they don't just sell the wall wart without the cable. We wasted a bit of time trying to figure out what was wrong.

Probably wouldn't wanna buy Belkin products again. I can't see why poor quality control wouldn't be the norm in all their other products.

This charger was described as an original equipment product for the LG Lucid phone. It is, in fact, a generic aftermarket product designed to fit several different phones. The body of the charger is big and clunky and is difficult to plug into cigarrete lighter sockets. (I have tried to use it several different cars.) It is too big to fit into the power outlet inside the console of my car that was designed for this exact purpose! You have to wiggle it around in the socket to get it to make contact!

That being said, the charger DOES work once you get it connected properly. For the price I can live with it, but don't expect the original equipment produt that the listing describes!

The only thing this camera does; is produce good quality videos. The instruction manual was lost in translation and is more of a set-up guide then a owners manual.There was no detail instructions of the features on the settings. But with some hit and miss' you can figure it out.

Pros:

Takes good quality videos. It uses about 1.7 GB memory for a 10 minute loop.

Loop recording works; allowing you different loop time options and overwriting older videos when the card becomes full

The suction cup window mounts is very secure and allows for several adjustments; allowing you in conjunction with the monitor able to rotate 270 degrees, and the lens rotating 180 degrees; multiple options in mounting your camera to the windshield.

The camera does stops recording when you turn off the car; and turns on and starts recording when you start the car.

Cons:

The motion sensor does not work. One time it worked; another time it recorded one minute loops; and while going 60 MPH it would stop recording and the the camera would shut off.

Auto shut-off does not work. I have the auto shut-off set for five minutes; but every time when I shut off the car; the camera records for thirty seconds and then shuts off.

Tripod is useless.

Had trouble inserting the memory card. Had to use a pen to install and latch the card in place.

I tried updating my Garmin Nuvi with the USB cable that came with camera. The Garmin had a fit (threw the cable away).

The HDMI did not work. I use the cable that was supplied and my own. The Sony Bravia showed that is was hooked up to the camera but no video or audio played on the TV.

Has digital zoom instead of a optical zoom.

Has a one year warranty; but did not include any warranty information.

Can use as a PC camera; I don't think so. No matter what I did I could not get out of mass storage mode when the camera is connected to the computer with a USB cable.

I have included three driving situations in the video. First part is driving on a sunny day with some shadows. The next part is driving at night, driving into a small town. The third part is driving about thirty minutes before sunrise. This was recorded in 1080P onto a class 10 SDHC 32 GB card.

The user manual doesn't make sense, written in poor english and with poorly drawn (and labeled) images. There is no indication of the amount of recording time (based on memory card size) or a complete list of options selectable from the menu items. The material is cheaply made.

The camera DOES however produce clear images (moving and still) and through testing I found the avi fies are limited to ten minutes each, when run overnight it will fill up the disk (memory module) and delete the older material in order to write new data (the main purpose) but that limited a 32gbyte module to two hours of actual avi files.

There is a socket to attach a tripod to (like normal cameras) but a strap holder prevents its use, two tripods that work for other cameras were unable to attach to the screw socket.

Battery life is extremely poor, after charging overnight it could not run more that 30 minutes on a full charge. An external power source will be required for anything over 20 minutes (car charger was supplied)

IIT 26440 Battery Charge Indicator Tester

Just got this battery tester, which looks and feels very cheap. It's very losy almost like its gonna fall apart. I tested it with AA, AAA and 9 volt and the results are terrible.

It will test AA just fine, but AAA + head is too small would not reach the top part properly therefore cant be tested.

9 volt test holes are also off and therefore wont test any of my 9 volt batteries.

I don't have the time to return it to seller, but I made sure I leave some time to write this review.

I have another two of this, but want to keeo one in the camera bag so that I can tell if the batteries are charged.

We went to Yellowstone National Park for a 2 week vacation, and majority of the time is camping, so keeping an energy source is important not to miss opportune shots.

I checked all (over 30 of them) the batteries and the indicator show at the middle of the Green Zone (Good, right).

Only to find out after my Lithium Ion batteries ran out and I needed to put these "Fully Charged" batteries into the battery magazine and found out that they were "Under Charged".

So, what is the value of the charge indicator when it cannot tell me the accurate charge levels?

This battery tester shows "Good" no matter if your battery is low to the point of being unusable or fully charged! I have "1.5V" batteries that are run down and measure 1.25 V on a good Fluke multimeter and unused, fully charged batteries that measure 1.59V, but this battery tester shows them about the same strength on the "GOOD" scale. Completely useless for 1.5V batteries. It seems to work slightly better for 9V batteries, but I have not done any specific measurements on those.

I bought this small inverter as a Gold Box deal to use when camping or on road trips. I've used it to charge my phone through the USB port, to plug in the AC adapter for my kids' Nintendo DS, and to charge the battery on my digital camera (through the AC charger).

The good: It works. It's small, has a nice feel to it, and has a long enough 12v cord to allow it to be placed on the center console of my truck.

The bad: It gets very warm sometimes, almost to the point of being uncomfortable to touch. I haven't determined if it only gets hot on the current draw for the AC, or only from the USB, or both. Sometimes it seems to run hotter, and other times it doesn't.

I would have given it 5 stars except it makes me a little nervous that it gets so warm. Otherwise, it's a nice little device to keep around, and was actually cheaper than a 12v charger for my phone. I always unplug it when not in use.

2/22/2011 Update! This inverter still works well, but I have determined that it is the USB charging that causes it to get very hot.

I love this product so much, I bought one for all of my cars! If you have products requiring usb charging, you can do that. If you have a laptop or other plug in device, you can do that too! Unlike the units that have an outlet right on the cigarette lighter adapter, this one has a nice long cord. I like to put it under the seat and have it out of the way. It has a nice blue light to tell you that it is on, but is not too bright to distract you at night. As much as I use these, I have never blown the fuse in the unit, or in my car.

The Roadpro Inverter was great on the road. I was able to charge everything but the ipod Touch. For some reason, it would not charge it through the USB port. I have not tried with the AC adapter.

It is a relatively compact unit with a long enough cord that made the inverter convenient to use. We keep it in the car at all times and can use it pretty universally with our electronic gear.

This inverter works perfectly. I used it for working on a laptop over extended periods in the back of our minivan. Don't ask what I was doing in the back of our minivan for extended periods. It's none of your business! Anyway, the key is that you must have the car running. Powering an inverter for long periods without your battery charging from your alternator is a sure way to end up with a dead battery. I took the chance and ordered this when it had no feedback. I was burned.

In theory, this is a fantastic tool. I loved that it has a temperature gauge, compass, signal mirror, radio, various LED lights, and can be charged AC or hand crank. More than anything, the motion sensor caught my attention. In my "what if the world ends" scenario, the motion sensor really stood out as a useful addition, and not one I'd seen before.

After receiving the first, I immediately noticed it does NOT come with an AC charger. I re-read the wording, and it was ambiguous. After talking with an Amazon rep, he assured me it SHOULD come with the AC charger. The plastic holder inside the box clearly has a spot/depression/outline for one. The other thing that was very quickly obvious is that I couldn't get it charged at all, even after vigorously using the hand crank. The temp gauge and compass were decent.

Thus, I sent that one back, hoping the replacement would be vastly improved. No such luck. Still no AC charger, although this one actually held the charge when I cranked it. But the radio is pure dung and can't pick up a single station. Living semi-close to Denver, that shouldn't be. And the volume? Goes from silence to god-awful loud (static) in one click no in-between. Finally, the compass is worthless on this one. No matter what I do, it tells me West is North. I may not be the sharpest tool, but in my own home, I know where North is.

I used another (seemingly...) compatible AC charger with this, which does appear to be doing the job. The cheap little compass isn't the worst loss, as much of my equipment has other compasses. The lack of radio signal (and volume), though, is very discouraging. I guess my little Eton radio and charger will have to continue to suffice.

I think this will be a good item to have while hiking/camping. I like the idea of having an ability to charge my cell phone. Problem is I can't find a cable (not included) that will allow me to charge my iPhone. Tried Radio Shack; they said to go on the product line and buy the accessory. Still looking.

I don't know what else to say. It is a bulky $30 crank flashlight. Nothing else works or has any practical use. No charger, no phone charger cable or adapter, the motion sensor only goes off if you shake the unit (what is the use?), panic alarm my two year son enjoys dancing to!...oh the radio worked great for me in the city...

I have never left a review before but could not let this one slide. Spend $ on something else you can use.

The charger works fine and has quality construction. Using this with a Virgin Mobile Shuttle phone. The USB connector has nice touches with the Top labeled to help you insert the charger correctly in the phone and a squeeze-type locking mechanism. One problem is that on our car there is a flap over the main charger socket and this charger is too long to clear the flap. A shorter body or an angled design would work better. Highly recommended.

I bought this product from a local auto parts store after seeing the reviews online. I tried the Interdynamics EZ Chill but it never really stayed in the system. I could hear a hiss from the instrument panel whenever the A/C was on, especially on acceleration. So I figured there was a leak on that area, which would cost a fortune to have fixed at a repair shop. My van has 168K miles so it's not worth the repair. Why not give this a shot? (I thought to myself). So I bought it along with an extra can of straight R-134a coolant.

I followed instructions to the tee. The passenger side was getting a little cooler, but the driver side was very warm. It took about 15 minutes of driving until they both started to cool down (the rear was cold immediately). After 45 minutes of driving it really got nice and cold and I could hear intermittent hissing, but it eventually went away, which must be good. I'll update after a few weeks to see if the charge remains.

Before using the sealer our Jeep would hold a charge for a couple of days, been four weeks and it is still blowing cold.

The repair on the heat exchanger in the dash was estimated at $900, so this was a great deal.

I had a somewhere near the compressor last year when I purchased a used car. I charged the system because I failed to realize the leak and it was empty within a few days. It says it is recommended to only use on leaks that empty after two weeks but this product sealed it completely. Make sure your compressor is running before entering this into the system and charge afterwards to prevent a sealant on the port. So far it has been leak free for about a week, if I don't update this than that means it has worked for as long as this review has been posted. I am happy to finally have air!

UPDATE: Today the compressor failed to initiate. I checked the level of refrigerant and it is too low to start the compressor up. It looks like it failed to seal the leak but sealed it partially as the refrigerant took awhile to leak out. Will purchase a new compressor and install that and hope that fixes the issue.

Before using this product, I tried recharging my system with R-134a that included a leak sealant. But the system was empty three days later. I needed a better sealant or some major work so I tried this product. Using it is easy. It seals so well that you need to follow the instructions exactly and immediately recharge with R-134a after using this product, and keep the system running for 15 minutes on maximum cool, so you don't seal your charging ports.

One of the big reasons for A/C leaks is dried seals due to not turning the A/C on between seasons. I can't say why my system leaked, but three days after I used this product, I had to stop using my system for almost a year. And when I started using it again, it was still at full capacity and has remained there since.
