This product is exactly what it says it is. My problem is the Atrix cannot be inserted into the cradle if you have ANY case on the phone. I did keep the product even though I do not use it because I should have known it would not fit. Nothing wrong with the working ability of the unit other than the need to remove any case before you doc the Atrix.
Even though the Droid X has a good battery, if you use it a lot it will not last the day. This bundle allows you have extra power cords at work and in the car to ensure you can easily recharge your phone.

The iboost package says it will add 7 hours for video. Mine added 4.5. The instructions say it will fully charge in 4.5 hours. Mine takes around 9. I called them. They said the charge time listed is not valid. Hmmm. They said the video time will vary. I ran the video as a test, and did not touch the ipod except to start the movie again. I often go on long trips and use my iPod not only for music but for watching movies. Before buying the iBoost I would always have to cut my viewing time short for fear of draining out my battery. I wanted to find a charger that didn't have an annoying light so it could be used in my bedroom and this looked perfect. However it does not work with my iPod Touch. It says "Charging is not supported with this accessory".
I was interested in both of these impacts individually, it just so happens that it was less expensive to buy them in this kit than individually. The light was just an added benefit. The 3/8" impact is the one I use more frequently. This impact is relatively compact yet it has a very rapid hammer action that sounds similar to a hammer drill. It also has an LED light that is helpful to ensuring that you are on the fastener. I use it to remove medium grade fasteners but I wouldn't recommend installing them with it due to it's strength. It is strong and fast enough that I can quickly run down lugnuts on a passenger car before using a torque wrench to finish tightening them. The 1/2" impact is very strong and hammers much slower than the smaller impact but has no problems removing most fasteners on an average sized vehicle. It is a little nose heavy due to its sturdy hammer mechanism but it is not unbearable. I am also very pleased with the battery run time and the convenience of the "charge meter" on each battery. Something to be aware of with the charger is that it appears to be designed to be mounted vertically. It will charge in the horizontal position but at times I found mine having a difficult time getting a solid connection to get a charge. The light is probably the only thing I would want to improve on in this kit. It uses a bulb and is reasonably bright but the light that is put out leaves a dark spot in the center of the lit area that is a little annoying at times. It uses the battery quicker than the other two tools and is noticeably dimmer than my M12 LED light which I would highly recommend.
I've been using 3 of these as my primary power source for about 8 months now in Oregon. They were damn near worthless during the winter (as expected), but provide plenty of power during the summer. I use a TriStar 60amp MPPT, but the 45amp model would of been enough.

This completely new design works great (from late 2013-early 2013), does what I was looking for, in a nice compact, light unit that is reasonable in cost. They even have two input ports so both sizes of connectors from their solar panels work without having to have another adapter. The unit input and output wire connections are very tight and would seem to protect against moisture at the fittings. I use two of the Goal Zero briefcase solar 30w panels to keep my rugged outdoor support TrueNorth trailer's two 12v batts topped up, while camping in remote areas off the grid and away from regular campgrounds. The 4 stars is only due to the fact that I have not tested it over a long camping trip yet. This is so disappointing because I have given goal zero such praise. Using their products in north and south America for work. This product is deceptive and will not work with my goal zero solar panel or my brunton. They speak of adapters but their ate none. Other than the fact that it's useless to me I like the idea of it and design. Just sucks that I can't use it.
This is a nice unit for starting cars, as noted below. But it may be too small for some other 12-volt applications. The lighter-socket outlet will shut off if you exceed 5 amps of continuous draw, and the unit can only store a few "amp/hours" of power. If you need something for overnight use or to do much more than charging a cell phone, you might need a larger unit.

Had one of these units for a few years, but didn't experience a battery problem until recently. When I attempted to connect the unit to my battery, the positive jumper clamp (plastic) snapped in half, rendering the unit useless for its intended purpose. An examination of the negative clamp revealed that it was heavily cracked also, and would have given way in short order as well. Given that I'd never even used the jump starting capability of the unit before, I'm going to chalk this up to the use of cheap materials. As such, it's hard to recommend.

My battery arrived in a snug cardboard box with holes in the sides for handles. If I remember right the cardboard at the bottom extended a bit to protect it if it was dropped 3 or 4 inches straight down. After reading the reviews here, I put a sign on my door asking the delivery person to ring the bell and wait so I could examine the packaging. UPS delivered it. I don't know if they would have taken it back had I refused it because no signature was required. In any event, the packaging was fine, the battery was fine, and it works fine. This is not my first Optima. If it works as well as the last one, a different model, I will be happy.
I recently decided to add a solar system to my RV, and the local dealer had a poor selection of controllers. With the installation in the RV, I did not want the panel to have exposed wiring (most controllers have the wiring attached to the front of the controller). This panel fits into my monitor panel area in the RV and can be installed as "Flush Mount". The instructions were clear and simple, they provided a template for cutting the hole in the paneling and installation was simple. It can be set to operate on Wet Cell, AGM and Gel Cell type batteries. The display shows the DC voltage, amperage (charge rate) and the status of the batteries. If you are installing solar and are going to run less than 25 amps, this is an excellent choice.
