I bought this unit because it has a cord on the 12 volt end so that it can be plugged into our tightly quartered cigarette lighter outlet. It also meets my power needs. Be aware, this is really only an 80 watt unit that handles 100 watts for no more than a couple of minutes. At 80 watts it will draw about 6 to 7 amps from the lighter, or accessory outlet so be sure the outlet can handle it. Our new car has three such outlets but only the lighter outlet is really up to the task (15 amps or about 15A * 14V = 210 watts). The others are fine for devices that draw only a little power like a GPS, cell phone, MP3 player, etc.

It's a portable nuclear power plant in a box! I love it. With its built in charger ... I have confidence that it's ready to go. In addition to its obvious application I use it for camping, ham radio and launching model rockets. I just wish mine came with protective caps to cover the alligator clips it scares me to have even a little bit of copper showing on such a powerful device. I put a small strip of electrical tape over each of the clips that gives me piece of mind.

I bought the 12/24 jump and carry in 2005. I am a heavy equipment mechanic so the 24v has come in handy so many times to numerous to list. I have powered large inverters to power grinders and drills of of this thing. Pretty much everything you buy now if you don't treat it with velvet gloves its junk in a week. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I have not taken care of this thing at all and every year I expect the worst; It'll finally give up the ghost. Its been 7 years now and this year after sitting flat all winter inside the toolbox of my seldom used pickup I plugged it in last week and today I used it to start my diesel trencher and it worked as good as the day I bought it. The only negtive I can thing of is the way the handle that you pull out to switch voltage is orientated to the body. If the jumpstart gets banged around a lot the handle will break off. We gave it the test. Someone had left the key on the on position on a De icier truck. These trucks are use for deicing planes. They have to be up and ready in the before snow rolls in. We can't be tieing up another truck for a dead truck.

This Mp3 Player Is Awesome. the controls are very simple and quick to use, they are better than any other mp3 player I ever tried. The fm Tuner is a little weak and you have to turn the mp3 player volume up all the way, as well at the radio volume up pretty loud to hear it. It is not cluttered with extra features. You can also put files on it like a jump drive. It does have some glitches: Sometimes it locks up, and none of the buttons respond, However If you hold the power button for about 30 seconds, It will reset without deleting your files or music. Also, once in a long time it will display the song you chose and play somthing different. The warrenty is too short. I cracked the plastic over the screen and they wanted me to pay $99 to fix a simple piece of plastic, I Used Clear nail polish instead. It may not be the best out there, but I like it because it looks great and is the most basic of mp3 players. I give it 4 stars out of 5 stars because other than the bad customer service and the glitches, Which may be fixed in future updates, It is a Nice and Simple to use mp3 player. But for $150 you might want to see what else is out there first.
Bought this over priced gadget, plus 4 additional sensors to prevent damage from a catastrophic tire failure on my 5th wheel trailer. Long story short, I had a tire failure and got no warning from this thing. The only thing I got was about $5,000 in damages from the tire tread, before it left the Wheel altogether. When I learned of the failure and found the wheel without the tire, I checked this thing's monitor, which not only did not Indicate a problem, but further gave me readings that the tire was still on the rim with 80.7 lbs of air within. The company did contact me and eventually convinced me that a signal booster was needed for my setup. I installed and signals do seem much better, but the need for this device, or it's placement, is not addressed in the manual. I'm very impressed with the way the company responded and worked with me on this thing, which causes me to raise the rating from one to three stars.

I just installed the TireMinder on my motorcoach and toad. Seems to be working great so far. One tire reading 3 lbs low and Tireminder alerted me of the problem. So far so good and I would order from this vender again.I didn't like spending the money but I'll have to say it saved me twice on the road. Had a tire leak down twice before I found the problem. Installed this on a 3 axle 5th wheel. The installation was easy and the system works exactly as I'd hoped. It is a great relief to know that if a tire goes flat I will know about it, since the tires are not visible from the truck whil driving.
I bought this battery to use with my solar collector system. It arrived fast. It was one of the best priced batteries I found. My solar collector charges it all day and it keeps my water pumps and lights running all night, I was even able to lay it on it's side. I think I'm going to buy a few more.

My Generac 7500EXL generator is over 9 years old and I just this week had to replace this battery. The generator is always kept in my shop and plugged into the float charger. The battery was shipped with new lug screws, it was 'fully-charged', and the identical size and configuration as the battery it replaced. My stand-alone battery jump starter / air pump kit now functions as when it was new. The old battery lost its ability to hold the full-charge needed for the 'jump-start' function. I was worried that the old battery would not be the problem, but it was solved with the replacement battery.
I have owned this product since it was released around the end of August to early September. Other models that were under consideration were the Snap on 1/2 Impact Gun (CT7850) and also Matco's (MCL18IWVSKB2). I purchased it at an introductory price with a free extra battery. This impact gun offers incredible value for the price, when compared to the other two. I am a technician at a Mercedes Benz repair shop. I have used this gun every day since I have purchased it off of the tool truck. The gun is able to break free axle nuts (largest I tried was 36mm) crank pulleys, seized and rusted lug bolts, brake caliper bracket bolts, etc. It also works great to remove and press in ball joints. Basically, there is nothing that I have found that the gun couldn't deal with. However, I was using it to remove lug bolts two weeks ago, and the gun began to smoke and the motor became very hot. The motor stayed warm for at least 2 hours, which was very unusual. This was the first task of the day, and the gun had not been used before. Typically when you release the trigger, the anvil stops as well, but after this incident, the stop no longer works in either direction. The gun also seemed to have loss a considerable amount of power. I have sent the gun in for repair, and will update at a later time.
When I got my remote start installed at best buy i was the happiest man under the sun, it was the great to know in the cold I could start/stop, have my windows go roll up and much more. After a few months of pressing the start/stop, the function and aux button, the side plastic housing body started to crack then it broke. I tried super glue a few times and it was a quick fix, but nothing long lasting.

I own 3 of these units and use them in the most difficult of situations. We own an RV and go camping regularly. Many of the campgrounds do not offer electricity and we must turn our generator off at 9 pm. We use 1 unit to power our 2 computers after quiet hours and it works great. I want to start out by saying that I really love this unit for its jump starting and power source features. The jump starter works exactly as advertised. The 12 volt power source is massive, and lasts forever; I drive a vintage car with a non-operational 12v lighter outlet, and so this thing can sit in there for weeks on end and supply my phone, iPod, or whatever with hardly any drain. I actually bought this because I was going on a four night camping trip to a place without power, and I use a cpap machine when I sleep. If I had bought the dc adapter for my cpap machine, I'm sure that it would have lasted the entire trip. I purchased two of these from Wal-Mart.Since we've been experiencing particularly odd weather, they've been quite handy in the blackouts. The only time they weren't, had to do with the fact I did not charge them. Had to have it professionally installed because it was more complicated than your average Joe could do but otherwise a really great product. Hoping to install a second battery to take advantage of the full power of the unit but really for what I am using it for it has plenty of power connected to one battery.
This is one third of the total package, and the main reason for the other two thirds. Imagine my surprise when I get the tool and find it lacks a battery or a charger!!! Not mentioned at all by Ingersoll Rand (IR), by the way. I was happy with the tool, the size and weight, but not happy with the "piece by piece" nature of the system.

As far as this ratchet works and power for a ratchet it gets a 4 0r 5 depending on if you are comparing it to pneumatic or cordless. Pneumatic is still better but this is a comparable alternative. I gave it a 4 because it was a ratchet with excellent power for a cordless but a large heavy ratchet. As a person who has worked in the automotive trade, I would say the 1/2 drive R385 is perfect for trucks and heavy equipment. The R380 is only a 4 because it is a well built but a little bit large and cumbersome for smaller automotive. It would still work great but an example is when I did remove and replace on autos my favorite air tools was a 3/8 mini ratchet (pneumatic) and a 1/2 strong air wrench or gun. It will do the job but lacks the strength of a 1/2 gun and the convenience of the small mini air ratchet. I am glad for the purchase and have a 3/8 drive and a 1/2 drive which would mean it is still a good useful purpose. I know longer can work I must of bought them to lend out (either that or I still like tools). Probably because I like tools since they do not always return when you lend them out.
I didn't have a problem with this charger and it does what it's supposed to do. It's cheap and it works and that's all I can ask of it. Unlike the other reviewer, the cord hasn't gotten stuck and still retracts whenever I need it to. The only downside to it is the cord is pretty thin but I guess it has to be thin in order for it to retract properly.

I bought this cam to use during custody exchanges with the ex because it is sleek and simple and doesn't stand out (we all gota protect ourselves somehow). I received it and laughed at the box since it's written in mostly Russian. Just found out that over 1,000,000 Russians have these in their cars, that's how they caught so many clips of the meteor crashing. Anyway, the camera works well, 1080p ISN'T as clear and defined as I thought it would be... seems more like 480p in a widescreen format but hey, I'm not looking to make home movies with it. In 1080p mode and doing a continuous 10 minute loop recording it records about 2GB per file (2 files needed). So at minimum a 4GB SD memory card should be bought with this.... I recommend just maxing it out to a 32 GB card so you don't ever have to worry.
The unit I bought was purchased from Griot's Garage, which is this item rebranded. It is thin enough (3.5" wide) that I could keep it in my Mazda RX-7 between the seat and storage bins. I used it many times over the last 5 years and it seems to be holding up great. I put it in my finance's car around a year and a half ago. Even she has commented on how often she has used it; not for herself but for coworkers and customers at where she works.

The only short-coming to this unit is the 23" inch cable leads. These units will out perform "ANY" other unit on the market today and especially the styles that you can buy from the big dept stores. Do any of those "other" units come with a certificate to repair or replace their unit for $25.00? Mine did when I bought it back in 1998 and the unit I have is still working to this day... I believe its now $50.00 to send it in for a one time exchange! An "internal" charger is built into this unit so you don't have to deal with attaching an external charger like some brands have out there to charge it, and who doesn't own an extension cord? I do use my unit commercially and if you can safely hook this unit up to the correct leads on the battery your boosting than this unit will not let you down! Buy it and you'll love it! Note" The 660 Model has 46" inch lead cables and is a larger more powerful unit but. this unit will get the job done if you don't need the longer cable leads.. Enough said!
