Uniden BTS200 Portable Wireless Speaker & Speakerphone with Removable Cell Phone Charger ? Cell Pho

Uniden BTS200 Portable Wireless Speaker & Speakerphone with Removable Cell Phone Charger ? Cell Phone AccessoryAs a recovering gadget addict, I am now cautious when buying new gadgets. Saw this item and it promises to play high quality music, charge your gadgets with the removal battery pack, and be a speakerphone...there are lots of devices that do one of these things, but this one does all really well. First thing I did after charging the requisite 7.5 hours was to test the audio quality by playing music via my cell phone (Nexus S). I was totally blown away by the sound of this thing! Incredibly dynamic range for such a small device; not tinny sounding or basey. It has a hole on the side for additional accoustic range and all I can say is it works. Even if all it did was stream music from a bt phone, it would still be worth it. Boom boxes costing twice as much don't sound this good. But add in the portable battery charger (USB connection to your device) and hands free phone, well, you could probably put peanut butter and jelly on it and eat it...

Update (24 hours later).

Ok, the streaming audio sound is still great. Then I tried making calls with it. First time I tried I called a place that had me on hold for 30 minutes. Then the operator comes on and guess what she can't hear me and hangs up! Arrgh! I call my buddy, he can't hear me. I unpair and repair the speaker with my phone and test the microphone quality on a voice mail. very very disappointing. it was crackly with sporadic drop out (though maybe that was my cell connection.). I compared the voice quality to the phone's speaker phone and to a new Blue Ant S4. The Blue Ant and phone quality were both very high. The BTS200 voice quality, not really acceptable--might as well use your phone's speakerphone.

So... two of the products three functions work very well. I may keep it on that basis--for listening to music and the portable battery system. If you're going to use this for music and don't want to use its speakerphone function you can disable that through your phone and just use it for audio. I tried using the BTS200 for music and the Blue Ant for phone. When I called the phone with music playing it shut off the music to the BTS200 and put the call through to the Blue Ant (but you could have it stay on the phone).

Conclusion--this is a great sounding portable speaker system for your phone. Or you can pull the battery out and use it for charging other devices. But relying on this product for good blue tooth phone quality (microphone) would be a mistake. There are other devices out there that do the phone and music both very well, but they cost a lot more.

Hope this helps.

I purchased this speakerphone directly from Uniden. Got it home and connected it up so that I could listen to my training and education courses at home using this rather than needing earbuds. Connecting it to my phone was easy and the only trick was to turn the speakerphone completely off and back on once it is linked with your cellphone. I am hard of hearing and the use of most earbuds requires that I remove my hearing aids.

First, the sound quality, both volume and reproduction are surprisingly good. I can listen to music on the speaker and it sounds great. Even the bass (on such a small unit). The speakerphone's functionality is good also. No complaints.

However, the use of the speakerphone for speaking is a problem. You must be within 20" of the phone and speaking directly into it for the other side to hear you. This is unfortunate. I think that I'm generous giving it 3 stars.

I'm keeping the phone for my original intent but I think that Uniden could have done better. Considering it is advertised as a bluetooth speakerphone.

Buy Uniden BTS200 Portable Wireless Speaker & Speakerphone with Removable Cell Phone Charger ? Cell Pho Now

While its nice, and very easy to connect. The person on the other line states that sound quality is poor. If there is external noise, like a fan running, the sound quality is affected.

The quility that I hear is very good though.. Nice for music.

I was so happy with the first speaker, I bought a second. I use one plugged in via wire to my computer at work and a second on our deck for when Im reading and want to listen to music. The sound is loud and rich from a really small package. An unusually large base speaker covers the bottom. This does cause it to jump around a bit if the volume is turned up on a "Thumpy" song. Still a great little speaker. We also use it for watching netflix on our ipad while camping!

Premium Car Charger for your Micro USB The Best Car Charger for your Micro USB Connector Phone! Custom phone and car connector allows you to charge your phone correctly, anywhere!I originally purchased one for myself but after sharing the find with others I was implored by friends, family, and coworkers to acquire one for them. iRecharge IPR3 Rechargeable Battery Bundle for iPod Shuffle

iRecharge IPR3 Rechargeable Battery Bundle for iPod Shuffle
  • Handy rechargeable battery bundle designed for the iPod shuffle
  • Rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack lets you charge shuffle without power source
  • Delivers up to 40 hours per charge; charges via USB adapter
  • Includes green, blue, and clear sleeves to protect shuffle from dust and scratches
  • Backed by 3-year warranty

Yes, this inexpensive charger will recharge an iPhone (or any 4th generation or newer iPod.) I used this on my iPhone 3GS and it worked perfectly. The package only includes one USB cable, which you use to charge-up the iRecharge battery. You need to provide your own docking cable (included with the iPhone or iPod) to charge/power the iPhone (iPod).

In my very non-scientific test, I discovered the iRecharge will charge the iPhone battery at the rate of about 5% per 10 minutes. (I drained my iPhone to 30% and it reached a 100% charge in about 2 hours, 20 minutes.)

It is light weight but a bit awkward to use (it was designed to seat an iPod Shuffle while charging, so attaching the USB-dock cable requires somewhat nimble fingers; even more-so when detaching the cable.) If you have an extra docking cable, I suppose you could leave one attached at all times as long as you are careful not to short it.

Overall, an excellent portable, emergency power source for your iPhone or iPod.

VERIZON SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 I535 ELITE GTR SERIES CAR CHARGERProduct clearly was not Samsung. It does not charge very well, nor does it fit properly into my phone. Should not have expected much for the cost. I just believe it was wrong to market the product as name brand.

12 Volt 10.5 Ah MotoBatt MBTX9U Sealed Maintenance Free AGM Battery

12 Volt 10.5 Ah MotoBatt MBTX9U Sealed Maintenance Free AGM BatteryI've put about 25,000 mile on this battery, and it has been great. My stator went out on me and this battery survived being run 40 mile to work, parked for eight hours, riding 40 miles home, and being recharged by my Battery Tender overnight for a couple weeks before I figured out something was very wrong. First I thought the battery was at fault because it was taking so long for the tender to indicate a full charge every night. I ended up replacing the battery, regulator/rectifier, and stator. Well guess what, the new battery ( a cheap TMS brand battery bought through Amazon ) turned out to be a dud. It wouldn't start my bike ( 07 VFR800 ) twice in a row. Now I have this old battery back in the bike, and it's working like a champ! Just like new despite all the abuse it took. Can't wait to buy another Motobatt.

Battery was shipped fast and packaged well from seller. It was the same size and specs as the Yuasa that came with the generator. After installing the battery the generator started right up without needing a charge.

I got 5 1/2 years out of the Yuasa but the MotorBatt was half the price. So far so good.

Installed and had some minor malfunction with bad connections. Used some terminal silicone and that seemed to solve the problem.

All in all, so far so good. Good price for a universal battery

Want 12 Volt 10.5 Ah MotoBatt MBTX9U Sealed Maintenance Free AGM Battery Discount?

I bought a cheap battery 6 months before I bought this one hoping that it would last me a year or soit didn't even make the 6 months. The MotoBatt is fast cranking and high quality. Amp hours are really important. My old cheap battery was 9 amp hrs; brand new this barely made the starter turn the engine over. This battery is 10.5 amp hrsit cranks it over fast! My advice, don't go cheap on a batteryit will cost you more in the end.

Official Angled / Bent style OEM Car Charger for BlackBerry 9630 Tour Phone! Original Equipment and ManufacturerI bought this for my wife, it's much cheaper than getting one from a cell phone store. BW Hard Shield Shell Cover Snap On Case for Verizon Samsung Brightside U380 + Car + Home Charger-Bl

BW Hard Shield Shell Cover Snap On Case for Verizon Samsung Brightside U380 + Car + Home Charger-BlackI liked how thw case snapped on easily. It fits well and has a good feel.

The car charger works OK and charges at the same rate as the wall plug.

The wall plug has a nice long cord.

As far as I know the chargers are fine, and the case was thought very highly of. Until today, my son let me know that case (which he's had for two days) broke when he slid his phone open. I'm bummed.

For less than five bucks I got this bundle with two chargers and cover for my brightside. Feels nice to the touch although the slider function seems a bit hindered from this. But it's nice to have the extra protection and the car charger. I wish all little devices used the micro usb plug companies like Apple with their new "unique" charger only serve to make us pay more to them and trash all the old charger cables. What an un-pc and eco-unfriendly move Apple! The chargers here fit my other phones, my kindle and I love this about it.

I got this case to protect my Samsung Brightside, it does its job we'll. I have dropped my phone a few times and there isn't a scratch on it, just on the case. The only problems I had were getting it on all the way. But the good news is that once it is on it is going to stay on for a while. The chargers were a big bonus to the purchase. Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking for a hardcase to their Samsung Brightside.

Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe with Bluetooth Technology

Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe with Bluetooth Technology
  • WAAS-Enabled, 12-Channel Sensor Receives GPS Satellite
  • Signals & Wirelessly Transmits Them To A Mobile Device
  • Adds Full-Featured GPS Navigation To Bluetooth-Enabled Devices
  • More Than 5 Million Points Of Interest Such As Restaurants, Hotels,
  • Gas Stations & Attractions

I've been using a Garmin StreetPilot III for 3 years now, for those unfamilar with it, its a all-in-one GPS unit with auto-routing feature and voice prompt. Its a good trusty device, highly rugged and I credit much of my career success in Silicon Valley to it.

What prompted me to start sourcing for another GPS device is due to the airport hassle we experience these days. I work for the Sales department of a security company and that means frequent travel these days. The StreetPilot III is an excellent device but its a little bulky to fit into my notebook bag.

Hence enter the Garmin GPS 10. I got mine for $209 from Digitally Unique, they're slow on shipping but the price was good. Get the Deluxe package and not the receiver only one, the Garmin software and maps are worth the money.

In comparison with the older StreetPilot, advantages are:

1. Small, light and easily fit into your pocket or laptop bag, easier when passing through airport security.

2. Integrated magnetic mount allows for mounting outside the rental car, a good solution in case you rented a car with heatsheild on the windscreen that can block GPS signal.

3. Waterproof, so you can still mount the device outside the car in adverse weather condition.

4. Software provided for both PocketPC and Windows OS (Mac / Linux users are out of luck here). Most business travellers like myself typically carry a PDA and for sure has a notebook. In case your PDA fails, you'll still have GPS capability using your notebook.

5. Enhanced software features includes:

More customization options

Cool transparent setting for indicators and prompts

Elevation indicator, nice feature when travelling

Easier filter for Waypoints and POI (Points of Interest)

6. Uses standard SD or Compact flash memory cards supported by your PDA instead of the proprietary flash memory cards from Garmin. Get the Viking 512mb SD card available from Amazon here with rebate, goes nicely if your PDA has a SD slot.

7. The GPS 10 turns on automatically if it detects power from the 12v cigarette lighter adaptor.

Disadvantages compared to StreetPilot III:

1. This could be related to my choice of PDA, I'm using a Dell Axim X5 PocketPC 2003. This PDA does not have an integrated Bluetooth so I use a Anycom Bluetooth CF card. Whenever I turn off the PDA and back on again, I need to re-connect the Bluetooth serial connection. Then I have to stop the Garmin nRoute software from searching the serial port, then reconnect again. A bit of a hassle compared to the StreetPilot III where you simply turn it on.

2. Routing algorithm not as good as StreetPilot III. The Pocket PC based routing logic seems to be slightly inferior to the one based on SP III (Palm OS based).

3. Depending on your PDA, the screen could be very difficult to read in the car. The Dell Axim X5 does not do well despite its transreflective LCD. The SP 3 on the other hand is clearly visible under all sorts of condition. Recommend you buy a PDA with a very bright screen.

4. PDA dependent. The SP 3 is a integrated device and is very rugged, sitting in direct sunlight for 2 years before I finally managed to buy a townhouse with a garage last year. The PDA however, is flimsy in comparison. I would not thing the Dell Axim will hold up being in sunlight all the time for 2 years.

5. Mounting a hassle. For a semi permanent mount in a car, you'll have to buy a mount either from Seidio or Arkon. However, those mounts are mainly for the PDA and you'll have to mount the GPS 10 seperately.

Recommendation:

1. If you do not travel by air frequently but is looking for a GPS device for use in your car, go with one of those all-in-one devices such as the older Garmin 2610/2620 or the newer Garmin c320/c330. They're much easier to use and mount, and are easier to see in your car.

2. For frequent travellers by air, get this Garmin GPS 10 and a good PDA. This combo is a lot more portable and works even if you end up renting a car with heatshield on the windscreen. Also, in case the PDA fails, you'll have your notebook to fall back on.

3. If you decide on the Garmin GPS 10, get a PDA that has the fastest possible processor. The latest Intel XScale running at 624Mhz is a good choice. My Axim X5 running 416Mhz though usable, I sometimes felt a faster processor would be nice when I'm planning a trip and markign waypoints on the PDA.

Buy Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe with Bluetooth Technology Now

I am an accountant with average PC skills. If you have a laptop with Bluetooth and another person to serve as navigator, the GPS 10 Deluxe is for you.

Set-up was easy. The n-Route laptop navigation software loaded quickly and easily as did the maps of the US and Canada. (On a laptop, you can load and unlock the maps all in one step.)

The GPS/software kit price is 5% of an installed navigator on new car while the functionality is comparable, and the laptop screen view and sound are excellent. Documentation of the software and GPS is thorough and easy to follow. The magnetic GPS 10 module clings securely to the hood or roof of your car.

Turn on your laptop and connect to the GPS 10 with Bluetooth. Then open the n-Route software and the laptop quickly connects with the GPS. You are ready to go (the software permits you to see how many satellites are being used to fix your position).

Assuming that you have saved your home and destination as "waypoints," you can easily create a route using two waypoints (beginning and end). The software/GPS allows your laptop follow the progress of your vehicle and provides suggested voice and visual directions along the way. Of course, you can chose to go your own way at any point, and the software automatically recalculates your route. At the bottom of the screen you can watch the ever-changing status including your current speed, direction, and time and distance to destination and next maneuver.

The maps have very good route detail and lots of helpful information regarding retail establishments and other points of interest, with an easy way to find them, especially when you are looking for something while traveling (gas, food, etc.).

You may need to change the setting on your firewall to disable the automatic detection of new wireless networks that you will encounter while travelingxx in residential areas, which will distract from your navigating.

Defining a "waypoint" by using a street address may take a little practice and some trial and error.

Read Best Reviews of Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe with Bluetooth Technology Here

Note When I ordered this, Amazon had the descriptions switched for two similar products. One comes with software, the other does not. The more expensive one comes with software.

I am using this with my HP IPaq PDA without problems. Routing is very accurate. The software is good and the find feature is like having the yellow pages in your hand as you can search companies, services etc and get their phine number as well as their address...

Product suggestion, make a small recess to keep the rubber plug that closes the power socket when not in use...

Update 1/6/2010:

This unit has gotten better with time. Since initial review, I moved to the ATT (HTC) 8525, and a couple of software updates and a firmware update make this little beauty shine. None of the bluetooth disconnect issues exist anymore from the original review. Latest software included 3D view, and performance is much more reasonable on the 8525. Would get 5 stars if the unit would provide GPS to apps other than Garmin. Shame on you Garmin in your closed source, closed access attitude. New maps updates are ridiculous at $100+.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The GPS unit is extremely sturdy, the magnetic mount is perfect, and the power adapter plug cover thingy is lost already (I've owned for a month).

I use the Cingular 8125 smart phone with the device. The GPS is the only bluetooth device I use with the phone. If the phone powers off, or the GPS is powered off, or the phone is taken out of the bluetooth range, the bluetooth partnership is never remembered. If the phone goes to sleep, the partnership is lost. Workaround is to keep the phone plugged in all the time, or turn off sleep mode on the phone.

Software on the PDA is fairly decent, but due to the weak processor in my phone (200MHz OMAP), calculating routes can take upwards of 2 minutes sometimes. The phone sometimes generates exceptions on the Que software when it is not even running.

Worse part of the software is getting maps onto the phone. I live and travel throughout Texas extensively, and about once a month I'll go somewhere outside of the state. I keep all of Texas (about 6 zones) stored on the SD card, but when I want to add say the D.C area, it's a complete reselect of all 6 zones in TX and then the new zones I want, and then the whole thing has to be uploaded through the USB link again. Ideally the software would read what zones you have already, then allow you to add or remove only those you want.

I wanted a GPS to use on a road trip to Arizona and ordered a GPS 10 to use with a Dell Axim PDA. Got he GPS 10 at end of April and used a couple of times. It worked as advertised. On the road trip to Arizona I plugged it into the cigeratte lighter to charge the battery. The unit got so hot I could not hold it. After that the GPS 10 would not come back on.

I have been trying for 3 days to call Garmin tech support and it is almost always busy. I did get thru once after holding for 45 minutes. After listening to the menu I selected the Outdoor option and was on hold some more. Finally someone answered the phone, said I was in the wrong que, tried to transfer me but we got disconnected. Tried calling again and was busy.

Finally got on the web site and sent a message to tech support. After 36 hrs. I got a response that said send it back for repairs.

Recieved the new one and got the blue tooth to connect to my PDA (dell axim 51v) but it would not connect to the Garmin Que software. Another call to Garmin (busy, hold, disconnect, busy again) after a week or so finally got thru to Garmin. Seems I needed a new unlock code since I changed units and the software is linked to the GPS unit and they must match. Once you get them all connected it works. But the next time you want to use it you must delete the Bluetooth connection and go thru the Bluetooth setup again.

If you use it with Microsoft Streets the unit will connect and follow along with little effort. The only problem is that MS streets will only download a small area at a time to the PDA. But it does work if you stay in the small area or load another map set.

Bottom Line I've had the system for 4 plus months and haven't got it to work properly in the whole time. Wasn't a good use of a couple hundred bucks

STANLEY 4.8 RECHARGEABLE CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER--Susan G. Komen Edition--Survivor Purple

STANLEY 4.8 RECHARGEABLE CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER--Susan G. Komen Edition--Survivor PurpleOverall, a good price for this, great color, but a tad bulky for someone with small hands to use. I bought this to replace another one that the battery had had enough charges, but not excited with the size of the base on this.

Handy small enough to store in the kitchen, yet big enough to have some power for frequent use. Smaller ones just didn't do the job, but I didn't need a big / heavy duty driver.

Would have been nice to have a case for the included bits, but not a big deal.

GTMax Micro-USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter for T-Mobile LG G2x /Optimus 2xI tested a new 2700 mAh battery (initial charge) and this wonderful charger on a three hour drive. This charger performed magnificiently, never overheated or even ran hot (I checked every 5 mins or so), the red light stayed on until fully charged. It must provide some huge power if it managed to almost fully charge (98%) this bigger battery (2700 mAh) in THREE hours! (I confirmed the red light OFF/fully charged) on the return trip). PowerFilm F15-1800 30w Folding Solar Panel Charger

PowerFilm F15-1800 30w Folding Solar Panel ChargerI got this unit and the 60watt unit of Powerfilm. I also bought the Duracell 600HD battery. I live in the desert and can use the 30w to charge my battery for about a day in good sun. I run my fans (usually straight for 3-4 days without recharging), I charge my phones, mp3, laptop, 8ft Intex pool filter (all day), rechargeable batteries (lots of D cells for fans, radios, etc.). I charge my electric mower and electric weed whacker, as well as my two e-bike batteries off of the Duracell battery that was charged with the solar panel. I've only had these solar panels a little over a month and feel really good about charging everything with the sun. The 60w is better for the laptop powering but the 30 is great too, it just doesn't provide as long or as much recharge.

You have to watch the connector ends. I had never bought any solar before, so didn't know the connectors come in all shapes and sizes, like cell phone chargers, and got a battery tender that doesn't go with Powerfilm connectors. If you want a full system you should have a charge controller, a battery, and an inverter. All these need connecting lines that fit to each other properly. Just a note for those who don't know, and may want to avoid ordering the wrong cords, charge controllers and such.

One thing about this type of panel is that its flexibility can be an issue in the wind. If the wind comes up it'll flap over, and if I'm not watching it I can have it out and not know I'm not getting things charged as they should.

On the positive side it isssss lightweight, and great for fitting into a back pack and having recharge power for phones, mp3's, gps units, and battery operated lights. Believe it or not I've got a 12 volt coffee maker and take that with me when I car camp. :)

I've really maxed out the use of this thing from the moment it arrived. I have no worries about basic power needs.

I'm updating this review three months later... still plugging away fantastic. I am continuing to charge all my electric items, and emergency batteries. The batteries I bought aren't so good a purchase but the panels have been great. I used the 60 watt to power directly off the panel a tall fan/mister to cool the area I was working in my back yard when I constructed my shed. You have to love a unit that can power a major fan/mister in 110 degrees where power is nowhere near. :)

OK this is an update after a year of use. This panel and my 60 watt are still working very well. I've learned a few lessons about how to manage getting the best power possible. It really is important to follow the sun, direct lighting on the panel is important so take the time to move or drape your panel with the movement of the sun. You can get a decent battery charge with ambient/cloudy lighting, don't refrain from using it just because it's not a clear day. Don't let your panel get too hot! Too much heat can interfere with charging your battery. I have this problem because it regularly gets over 110 degrees and I have a concrete slab back patio. My panels got slightly "curled" looking because of the heat exposure. I moved my charging location, putting them exclusively on the grass, but it took some creative extension cords to get the panels connected to the batteries (keeping batteries out of the heat). Clean your panels!! They can get dirty even if it doesn't seem like it, so just use very slightly wetted soft cotton cloth, or a good microfiber cloth, to clean the panels every now and then. I still haven't found a decent battery for this set-up, I've tried four different kinds and they cost so much to buy, are so complicated and expensive to return, it's cost prohibitive... so that is the weak spot of my system, but I can still run my laptops, fans, charge batteries, power my electric mower and more without having a "decent" battery.

I wanted this panel to charge a 7.5 amp-hr battery and run my 100 watt ham station.

With a pwm Sunguard charge controller the panel worked great. The panel was rated at 1.8 amps and I measured over 2 amps out and got over 28 watts at a non peak time and temperature. With an mppt controller I probably would have gotten another 4 watts

out. This panel was pushing out power at all sun angles. Very impressive. Also note that I called their technician to ask a question and got terrific help

Powerfilm solar chargers (from 5watt to 60watt) deliver over 15volts, which is perfect for direct connection to most laptops (20w and up typically) and 12volt devices. The product line comes with a connector which is equipped with a cigarette lighter socket, personally I replaced the socket with a 2.1mm plug and found it much more useful with a kit of adapters. I have at least one of every model the company makes, yes I do find them this handy. There is a video on youtube showing these panels being shot with a gun several times and the output drops only 10% after bullet holes turn it into swiss cheese. This is comforting knowing that if one part of the system fails, it will still get you power you need. There is no better system on the market in the world for portable solar. $10/watt is a hard price to swallow, but like I saidnone beats it on this planet...

I have been using Powerfilm products since 2007. This is the highest power I have tried. I needed this to power the battery on my new RV--it runs my water pump and ceiling fan while I am in the desert. I have mostly sunny days with some cloudiness in the afternoon. Hooking up the panel is easy, keeping it in the sun is easy, and folding and stowing it--yes, easy. I find that full day exposure four days a week keeps the battery topped up. My electronics charge quickly, as one might expect from the increased power. This size does not connect to other panels, as the smaller ones do.

The item I ordered was identified as digital camo. The item I received was all black with two rows of collectors instead of three. I am not happy with this order and if I could get what I ordered I would like that to happen.

YTX14-BS ATV Battery for HONDA TRX650 FourTrax Rincon (Std.) 650CC 03-'05

YTX14-BS ATV Battery for HONDA TRX650 FourTrax Rincon 650CC 03-'05Worked great out of the box and continuse to today. Has not let me down in the least. Would recomend to anyone.

Bought two of these batteries. One is good and the other was bad. When contacted about the bad battery the vendor just asked me questions.

They asked me if the battery was really bad and delayed the process. They never would give me authorization to return even though they were initially contacted in the warranty period. This store will not honor the warranty so you are taking your chances buying from this store. I recommend buying a better battery. It will cost more, but my last 2 Yuasas lasted 12 years.

Update 3/30/2013 I hung in there for 6 months and finally got a replacement battery. They promised me a 15% credit due to my extended wait, but I have never seen it and don't expect to. These people do poorly in the follow through and I just don't have the energy to keep bugging them for 6 months to get the credit like I had to to get the replacement battery.

Only had this battery for about 2 weeks now, but it seems to be good. Powers my 4-wheeler properly and doesn't seem to be lacking any power in the output.

BatteryMINDer 12 Volt Solar Charger-Controller with Desulfator - Model# SCC180

BatteryMINDer 12 Volt Solar Charger-Controller with Desulfator - Model# SCC180
  • Temperature compensation (At-the-Battery): Yes
  • Guaranteed to never overcharge
  • Temperature compensation ensures proper charge in hot or cold environments
  • Can be used on ANY TYPE or BRAND solar panel array
  • High-frequency pulse desulfation

I already own the AC version of this Battery Minder, and I use it to keep my car batteries topped off, as well as some deep cycle batteries that I own. The Battery Minder products are very high quality, and this one is no exception. I currently have this hooked up to my 15 watt solar panel, and use it to keep my deep cycle battery topped off. It has worked flawlessly since owning it (30 days now), and keeps the battery on float charge once it is full. If comes with "bullet style terminals" on the unit, but you can easily remove them and add any kind of connection that you want. I personally use and recommend "Power pole" Connectors. They are sexless terminals that can be used for Many different types of DC electrical connections. This charge also comes with a battery temperature sensor monitor to help it better adjust the amount of power it sends to your battery. This particular model will accommodate up to 180watts of power, which translates into 15amps of power to your batteries. One last thing, if you want to get really cleaver, you can plug this unit into a 120volt AC wall outlet, and then use this to charge your batteries from the wall. To do this, simply find an old laptop computer Power Supply cord (previously used to charge your laptop from an AC wall outlet) and modify it to plug into the Battery Minder charger. Every laptop Power Supply is designed to take 120volt of AC from your wall outlet, and convert them into 12volts DC in order to charge the internal battery inside your computer. There is a little black "box" or "brick" that is incorporated with these Power Supply cords, and this is precisely what does the AC to DC conversion. Once you modify the end of the old computer Power Supply, that was designed to plug into your laptop (with a Power Pole connector or something similar), you will then be able to plug the power supply into the wall and take the 120volts of AC power and turn it into 12volts of DC power. This new 12volts of DC power will run through the battery minder, and the battery minder will make sure to regulate the amount of power being sent to your batteries. So basically, you can alter this Battery Minder to run off of Solar Panels, or your 120 volts of AC that come from your wall outlet!

Car Charger for Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail

Car Charger for Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevailcame very quickly, and was just what i wanted.I would order and recommend this to my friends.Charger worked like it was supposed to

The only reason I didn't like this is because I found out my car charger thing (don't know the name of it) doesn't work at all. I'm sure it works on a car that has the thing that works. It works well on my dads car but not on mine.

Uniden GMR2238-3CK 22-Mile GMRS Radios & Charging Cradles, 3-Pack (Blue)

Uniden GMR2238-3CK 22-Mile GMRS Radios & Charging Cradles, 3-PackThese radios seem to work really well for us but the cradle charger is a total joke. The radios barely seat properly and have to be fiddled with to get the charge light to come on. Also, this doesn't come with "cradle chargers", but rather a two slot cradle and one car charger. The car charger plugs in to a DC jack on the radio and works better than the cradle.

Charging station is a challenge and the batteries on 2 units are bad after 2 weeks and less than 4 hours of use. Not much help from uniden, send the unit back

My email to uniden:

Summary of Question : Charging station does not seat radios

Question :

Base station does not let the radios charge. Bad fit and a pain. 1 Battery does not hold a charge. I request 2 charging adapters to eliminate the charger base and 1 new battery. I have now been on hold for 38 minutes. Please fulfill my request or our company may go with a different supplier for ALL our communication equipment. No Joke and will leave reflected feedback on my reviews.

Thank you,
